I am extremely upset at the negligence this location showed toward my dog. Brought my dog in the month of December to have his skin examined and tested. Was given a shampoo and sent home. Spent 300 bucks. Called a month later to say it wasnt working but was told because "Dr. Strohm doesnt work here anymore and did not run a lab test the skin, we cannot write an antibiotic order based on her notes". No one can tell me what my money went for-- they say "an impression". They told me it would be another 300 to have his skin re-examined. NOPE. Took him to Cape Coral Pet Vet, where he was thoroughly examined and prescribed antibiotics, steroids, and antibiotic ear drops because now his entire integumentary system has been affected. DO NOT JEOPARDIZE YOUR PETS HEALTH BY RELYING ON THIS LOCATION. SAVE YOURSELF THE COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND SEE A COMPASSIONATE VET!!!!!

Weve been taking our dogs here for a few years now. Never had a problem with them, except for when we had to have our German Shepherd puppys dew claws removed because he had double claws on the toes & they were literally catching on everything, they ONLY sealed up the incisions with medical glue & ONLY left the bandages on for 24 hours, & told us to bring him back in the next day to have the bandages removed...well we did & that night he ripped open on of the incisions & bled all over the house, so I had to bring him in the next day to have staples put in & that cost us like $70 for those staples & the medication, even though we already have him on the Puppy Plus plan.... Other than that one incident, they have always been wonderful with our pets.

We purchased a pet from a local pet store, unaware that it had pneumonia and two other bacterial strains. Within the first day, we had to take it to the vet. Banfield was the only vet open on the weekend, so we took it here. We are so glad we did! All of the staff was helpful, and they worked us into their busy weekend schedule. Dr. Garcin was our doctor. Great lady with much knowledge in the field. We highly recommend this place and will take ALL our dogs there, henceforth! Thank you, Banfield and Dr Garcin!

They hold you emotionally hostage in order to sell as much as possible. Business minded, not out for whats best for you or your pet. They will basically make you feel bad for not walking out with 200$ plus in tests or scripts or supplements. Been going to banfield all over Florida, this is the same where ever you go. I finally had to make the decision to put my pup down when the 300$ a month bills became too much. Please dont be roped into the banfield plan. I

TERRIBLE ANIMAL HSPITAL! Took my dog in and was ripped off with HUNDREDS of dollars in medications I received from the vet right at Petsmart. Prescription was not correct and my dog got worse! DO NOT go to this vet as they rip you off on prices, Manager does not even care, and the young first job vets are suspect at best. Very disappointing as I never had a problem in Ft Lauderdale. STAY AWAY from this location!!!!!!!!!!!

Refused to see my dog, didnt ask what was even wrong. I dont feel comfortable dropping her off there, shes 15 years old and was misdiagnosed the last time I dropped her off & the vet just wouldnt listen. I have been a customer of this company for 14 years and this location has treated me poorly. Will not be going back.

HORRIBLE!!! Dont go to this uncaring, overpriced, crap service vet. They double charged me for ear drops for my pug dog $104 (under $25 on-line) as they also wrote an incorrect prescription. Even after spending over $400 his ears are not getting better and I am visiting a new vet that isnt a young kid. STAY AWAY!

I was very pleased with the concerned caring staff. The front desk, the awesome vet tech, and yeah Doctor. My Rocky had been sick.. the desk staff looked for time to squeeze in an appointment in a couple hours, Rocky was seen and examined and treated with success. Everyone looked out for Rocky and were very caring.

Banfield Pet Hospital is one of the best vets I have ever been to. The vets actually care about the health of your pet. I had a pup there for almost 12 years before cancer took her away. The vet techs are very personable and care not only for your pet, but for you as well. I will never take my dogs anywhere else!

Not happy today! Needed a prescription filled for my puppy. Because it was written by another vet, they said they couldnt fill it? One week ago they filled a prescription from another vet though, the same vet? Its ok when our puppy really needed this anti-inflammatory Banfield turned us away. Bill Kraus

I brought my dog there last night. She passed away while we were there.. Heart failure.. but doctor Anderson and her staff were nothing but professional and sympathetic at the same time. They took great care of my Sandy and me. I wish I had found doctor Anderson years ago.
