Small Animal Hospital has left me feeling more confident than any veterinarian Ive ever taken my dog Brownie to. This hidden gem has a warm feeling and the staff amplify its vibrancy immediately after walking in. I spoke with Samantha who helped me during my greet and my leave. She made me feel very welcomed and was quite friendly, (My dog thought so as well). She expressed her opinion of my Captain America shirt saying "Iron man was waaaay better", which is very true. Theres no arguing facts when you compare the two! I met with Dr. Dupre, and I was impressed. Hes immensely knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He knew immediately what was wrong with Brownie and gave me answers that I couldnt find anywhere else. What I loved most was that he wouldnt leave until he was confident that I was on the same page and had no other doubts or questions. This is difficult to find in vets, and Im happy that I found him. The confidence and relief I have now are beyond words and Im looking forward to our follow up appointment in two weeks. Thanks again to all the staff and Dr. Dupre! Ill see you guys soon!!

Small Animal Hospital has been our familys choice in vet for as long as I can remember. I grew up running around their clinic, and as an adult continue to use them today. There is absolutely no one I trust more with my animals. Dr. Frank Dupree has, on more than one occasion, made himself available to me at all hours of the day and night, workdays and weekends, never hesitating to answer any of my questions or address any of my concerns. I live a good distance from the office, and have found myself settling for closer practices in the past. It never takes very long before I find myself running back to Franks. He is the very best at what he does, and there is simply no comparison when it comes to the care of my pets. At Small Animal Hospital, the vets and the supporting staff (who are equally wonderful) work together seamlessly to create a warm and welcoming environment. If you are looking strictly for a clinical, business like atmosphere, this is not the place for you. The people here are a family, and are eager to bring you and your furry friends on board!

Dr. Presley is the most caring veterinarian we have ever had the privilege to find too many times we found that that were more interested in the money they could make off of the cats we have had than the actual individuals and what they were going through dr. Presley is the only that we have found that really cares about her patients our little ebony 16 and a half year old Bombay cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and we had to moved out from Utah to Florida I was scared to death to try to look for a decent veterinarian and after a lot of investigating on the internet ended up finding dr. Suzanne Presley and she is so wonderful she goes above and beyond anything weve ever seen for the care of her patients she does not push unnecessary Labs on them or unnecessary medications and she works with the patients human caretakers to do whats best for the animals comfort and care I cannot say more about how very wonderful and unique she is with the amount of care she has for our little furry family members above anything else!

I recently took my cat Eric for a head to toe check up. We saw Dr. Nichols who was very nice and did a thorough job evaluating Eric. She informed me that Eric had severe stomatitis in over half of his teeth and he would benefit from surgery to remove the compromised teeth, which were likely causing him a lot of pain. She quoted me a minimum price of $1500-1800 (and that was for the procedure ONLY!) and told me she would only be able to give an exact price after the procedure was complete. I was SHOCKED and had to decline even because though I love my cat, I am a grad student who doesnt have that kind of money to spend. So, while the $1 head to toe check up was great, I would suggest you shop around if you are quoted a high price for surgery from this vet. I found another vet down the road, Eastside Animal Hospital, who did the procedure for $500, including his initial visit, x-rays, the surgery, anesthesia, and medication and special food post-surgery. I had a great experience with Eastside and Eric is doing very well!

Our experience with Small Animal, Dr. Dupre and his staff has always been good and unchanged for us and our pets since the mid 1980s.In 1987 we moved to South Ft. Myers and since our dogs are our kids did not want to change from Dr. Dupre. We even share our satisfaction with our friends who have not had a good experience with the vet they are using and every time we get a big thank you for sending the to Dr. Dupre.. Most recent was just this week. Looks like Eve was sent to Dr. Dupre just in time. On a personal note our dog was diagnosed with allergies by Dr. Dupre. All was fine and the treatment he put her on worked but being a Gator fan I just had to take our Maddie on a road trip to the University of Florida Veterinary School for a full day of testing. Just had to check out our Auburn vet only to find out he was right. I hated to tell him but the wife made me. If you love your pet like they love you, you need for them to visit Small Animal Hospital and meet Judy, Shirley and Dr. Dupre and staff.

We are new to Small Animal Hospital having moved to Ft Myers permanently 3 years ago. I loved my vet up north & doubted that I would be able to relace that special relationship. When my elderly Jackwich had an emergency, my vet up north recommended that I find an AAHA affiliated vet which SAH is. (Only 18% of vets nationwide are able to receive these prestigious credentials). At the same time I received an excellent referral from a neighbor to SAH. It was meant to be. The staff & Dr Dupre are very caring and take the time to explain procedures, meds & treatment. We never feel rushed & are always seen promptly. Lacey has been hospitalized twice recently, but she is always eager to go back to visit! You would think she would shy away, but clearly, she is telling us what good care she had. I would highly recommend SAH to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgable & professional vet office where your beloved pet will receive the very best attention. (You will, too!)

I took my baby Imani (pug). To see the vet due to some lesions on her ear originally. I looked up vets near me and I found small animal hospital on Google. I reviewed the website and liked what I was seeing. When I walked in the staff was very pleasant and inviting. They got me in the room very quickly which is a huge plus for me. They were very caring and it smelled great were as other places not so much. The vet Frankie depurè was great. Very knowledgeable in his craft. He let me know my baby needed some procedures done and was very professional and did the procedure in a timely manner. I was very pleased with the service and the sense of family in this place. Didnt treat me or my baby like another dollar like most places. Very competitive prices and they work with you (hence why I say they dont treat you or your pet like a dollar sign). They deserve 10 stars not 5. Highly recommended from a happy pug momma and customer! Thanks doc and staff much appreciated
