We brought our 12-week old puppy to River Square for his very first vet visit just 2 days after we got him. The experience was not a good one, and after talking to numerous other dog owners in the area, it does not seem unique at all. The first vet tech that came in reached out and shoved her hand in my dogs face before even letting him sniff her or anything. He growled, naturally, and she said "Thats a bad dog." I was shocked as she made no effort whatsoever with the puppy. Another vet tech came in later and puppy was fine with him. A little scared at first, but he let him smell him and offered him a treat and then everything was fine. Dr. Beverly came in, did not introduce himself to us, and made eye contact with us only a few times during the visit. None of our (very basic) questions were answered, which was very disappointing. I made a list of questions and he basically told us to wing everything or to google it. Really!?! I was once again shocked. He gave puppy his first round of shots and listened to his heart, but did not express his anal glands (which really needed to be done!), did not check ears, paws, teeth, nothing at all. We left after paying for a full visit (which I do not feel we received) and feeling very uninformed, uncomfortable, and disappointed in the care we received. I will never return to this animal hospital after hearing from 6 other dog owners (and 1 cat owner) about their very similar experience there and with the same doctor. The second male vet tech was awesome, but the first did not seem to like either people or animals.

This vet is horrible. I brought my 6 year old dog in after my dog was sick all weekend. Dr. Revely decided he was diabetic and was able to get his sugar under control however he told me that my dog was stable and the he wanted to keep him overnight for observation. I thought with him telling me he was keeping him overnight for observation that someone would be staying with my dog instead I received a phone call from Dr. Reverly the next morning to tell me that my dog had passed away and when I asked if he was being watched he told me no he was left alone. My kids were so worried about their dog and I assured them he was going to be fine after talking to the Dr. the night before (cuz he reassured me he was going to be ok) then I have to tell my 3 children the next morning that their dog was dead. I work in an ER and know that a human has the chance of their sugar bottoming out after they come in with high sugar and after getting them stablized, we send them to ICU for observation what makes a dog different. I would have brought him home and watched him if I would have known he was going to be left alone. Im sure my dogs sugar bottomed out and seized and died all alone. I feel this vet has no loving actions toward animals or the fact that the animals we bring into him are part of our families. Dont give him your business, find a vet who cares. This was an unnecessary death of my dog.

I have never me a more caring and gentle man. He has been my 12 yr. old Chesapeake Bay Retrievers vet for 11 3/4 of those years. He has been so understanding and respectful of Tobey and that makes all the difference. When my daughter adopted a pup from the Cleveland APL- the people at the APL asked who she was thinking of using as a vet, my daughter said Dr. Reveley. The woman told us that they do their best, they beg and plead with vets to get on the complementary vet check list. Dr. Reveley called them and asked what he had to do to get on the list. No one had ever done that before. Dr. Reveley was Octavias vet for 6 yrs., until she moved to Washington, D.C. She misses Dr. Reveley. When my son came home from Alaska with a thirteen yr. old Weimeraner, Dr. Reveley became Joss vet, too. I just rescued a terrier mix puppy and, without a doubt, Dr. Reveley will be Roos vet for many years to come. Thanks to Dr. Reveley, our pets have received the best care Cuyahoga County has to offer.

LOVE this vet! We have been going to both vets for about 15 years with our dogs and cat...from puppy until their elder years. Our family has had 5-6 animals over that time period in all stages of life. Many of our dogs were rescues, only one full breed. So he has seen it all with our pets. From pet anxiety, tumors, surgeries, eating a bottle of vitamins, you name it, our dogs have done it. They are kind, mindful and super caring. Taking their time but not recommending expensive testing when unnecessary. We have always felt love, compassion and high quality care from all of the staff. Wouldnt go anywhere else!!

Dr. Revely is amazing. He saved my cat from kidney failure. I didnt know what I could do for a young cat, but he gave me some options that were affordable even though the outlook was grim. He doesnt try to take your money and knows his stuff. I am very thankful for this vet.

My kitty cat, Athena, whom is very important to me, was sick with odd symptoms and Dr.Reveley and his group at River Square Animal Hospital were lifesavers. She is noticeably better immediately. Plus, Athena likes Dr.Reveley and that is worth a 5 star rating all by itself.

Dr. Reverly is amazing! To the point, but caring and understanding! He never over orders tests, or looks for excessive reasons to charge. The staff is SO LOVELY!
