Really sad veterinarians like this crook exist. If you wanted to get rich you should of been a human doctor. We went to board our dog here last year and upon arriving we were told she was missing a needed shot to be boarded. I told them no problem do what you need, shed need it anyways. I didnt realize by telling them to do "what you need" I would be taken through the ringer. We received a bill $125 over the boarding fee. My dog received shots that were not yet required for her age, tests, and a office visit. My dog was being boarded at the office! Took me over two days to get someone on the phone with any actual animal knowledge and when I asked about the charges she mocked me about telling them to do what they needed, the tests were because she was there and a new patient (NEVER gave them any inclination that we would become clients) and the office visit was to monitor her after the shots were giving. Seriously to monitor her?! You should of already been monitoring her thats what I was originally paying you for! So all this happened almost a year ago. Yesterday my husband called them to have the records faxed over to our actual vet and it took 5 phone calls and 3 hours! He called, they promise to send them right over, never anything, he call again, they told him they never spoke to him. Finally after demanding the receptionist to fax them while he was on the phone did we actually get the records. So I am urging people to please stay away from this office. Its really a shame people use pets as a way to rip off others.

When my boyfriend and I adopted a dog with a form of mange from a local shelter, my mom told us that we should take him to her vet to get treated because she loved the doctors and staff so much. When I went for the initial exam, Dr. Neuman and her technician Lexy literally dropped to their knees to pet and love on my dog, giving him treats while subtly evaluating his body and overall health. For a dog that probably hasnt experienced much love in his life, I could tell at that moment that he was so loved and so happy!! Dr. Neuman has ALWAYS been so straight forward and SO honest, but is also so compassionate and so understanding. She has gone above and beyond our expectations, and had our dog completely treated and healed within a few months. Since then, weve rescued a second dog and now bring him to Bayshore Animal Hospital. They both FREAK OUT when we pull into the parking lot because they know theyre about to get petted and fed a ton of treats! My mom and I both joke around saying that we wish we were our pets just so that we could have a doctor as thorough AND personable as Dr. Neuman. I would recommend this veterinarian office to anyone who is interested in having top-notch care for their pet from the time they walk in the door to the time they leave. Thank you Bayshore Animal Hospital for all that youve done for my family!

I have been going to Dr. Newman for almost 16years. I followed her from another place. I have learned so much from her and some things we have learned together. This woman has always taken such great care of all my animals! It is so hard to find anyone in any medical profession that actually cares. Ive had so many emergencies over the years and always been seen right a way. The girls at the counter rock.They will work with you for the bills if you are honest. They will explain the bills if you do not understand. The office is always very clean and welcoming. Dr. Newman will always make sure your animals are comfortable and happy. I recently put my best pal and family member to sleep. Even the Dr. cried. Yes she was a Legend. Even in the most broken time of my life I felt so supported. I drive almost an hour to get to this office. What Im saying is if you need to find a vet that cares, drive from wherever and become a lifelong friend and client.

I moved to this vet office about 2 years ago because it was close to my house. Each year when our shots are due I am always blindsided by additional charges. Last year I even spoke with the vet (Dr. Neuman) prior to the exam to go over all charges and was stunned at checkout when my bill had gone up over $125 extra. Even with an appointment it is the norm to wait excessively. My last appointment was delayed by an hour. The one prior to that by 35 min. As much as I like the doctors, I find myself stalling on getting our yearly exams done because I dont want to go there any longer. As a business owner in Lee County, I always appreciate customer feedback, both positive and negative. I am struggling to contact the practice and tell them how I feel. In an emergency situation with time being of the essence I would chose them. Just be sure to have ample funds to cover the cost.

Dear Dr. Lisa Thank you for taking such awesome care of me and katie today .. it hurt so much that she was unable to be ok anymore and you took such good care of me and katie you remembered everytime you took care of her and you were such a kind person to me and i want to repay you in any way i can .. you and your staff were wonderful. Katie is and always has been my heart and you all knew it and treated her and myself so kindly in a situation i never thought i would find myself in even after 14 years ...thank you from the bottom of my heart to my soul katie is in and was in good hands and so was i .. my heart is heavy but lighter for what you all did. I am so pleased with Dr. Lisa Neuman and her wonderful, kind hearted and loving staff. It is quite obvious as to their love for animals. They treat my dog...Rori...as if she were their own. I found the pricing to be more than fair which is important to me as I live on a fixed income. Rori and I couldnt be more happy. We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful animal hospital with such an awesome doctor and staff. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. Bayshore Animal Hospital rocks!! As for the "negative" reviews....in my opinion, some people simply cant be pleased and have to find fault in others no matter what. I am so very happy I ignored those negative reviews.

I started going here right after they opened, because its close to home. I knew this was the right place for my pets when I saw the following information on their front door: Phone: 997-WOOF. Fax: 995-MEOW. I have been astounded by the care given to my pets. Both Dr. Neumann and Dr. Perra are highly-skilled and caring young women, who put the well-being of your pet first. They are very cost-conscious. If an extra test or X-ray is needed, they always explain why. And their prices for services rendered are extremely reasonable, based on what I have experienced elsewhere over my 30 years living here in Lee County. I really cant praise them enough.
