While they were able to get us in every visit rather quickly, Im not completely satisfied with our experience. I brought my puppy in to be neutered this morning and everything seemed fine. I was given a quote of $160 after asking several times if there were any other fees, tests, etc. and was told no. They called and asked if I wanted them to take off his dewclaw during the procedure and explained it wouldnt cost much more and was no big deal. Ill admit I *should* have asked more questions. Unfortunately, life is chaotic with a big family and its easy to get pushed into anything when you really need to get off the phone. Still, I do take partial responsibility. At pick up I was charged over $100 more than I was originally told and my puppy has poo all over him....which is now all over my car. The receptionist was not what Id call friendly at the time of pickup up and they seem to just want to sell more and more to you every time you show up. Ive owned dogs for 35 years, and I can tell you that all the unnecessary medical interventions they try to sell you arent needed for a healthy dog. Im betting on a lot of kick backs for the doctors. We wont be returning and will be taking our pup to an honest, upfront, and holistic vet from now on. If youre looking for services that are somewhat unprofessional, pushy in their recommendations (which are more like demands), and a place that does multiple surgeries in a small time frame like those traveling vets, just go to the cheap humane society spay and neuter events, or the vets at the pet supply stores. This place charges like a high quality vet with the experience of the latter. It is not worth it. Additionally, I understand offering certain meds. Offering, not demanding. Heartworm meds were not the only "up- sale" pressure I felt. There is more than one way to handle healthcare and this particular practice is uninterested in entertaining any other way. In fact, I wasnt asked, but was told I needed xyz. We are very aware of what heartworms are, the dangers, and use our own methods of prevention. It is clearly a difference in philosophies here and not enough questions asked by me prior to deciding to use this clinic for our dogs procedure. I still would give the clinic a low rating compared to others weve been to in the past.

I took my puppy there for his first shots he was given the vaccines. The doctor lift up his ears and says "he has an ear infections because his ears were red..she did not look in his ear with the instrument they suppose to use. They prescribed the ointment for his ears. Well, I used the medicine for the prescribed time and two weeks later he has another ear infection. So I took him to another local vet and yes he did have another ear infection. Well they flushed both ears with a medicated fluid and a great deal of ear wax came to surface. The doctor told me the reason his ear infection didnt clear up before was because his ears werent flushed to remove the wax, so that the ointment can go down the ear canal . I called you guys back and explained what the other Vet said and wanted a refund on the cost of the ointment and was told the doctor said NO..So after having two dogs being taken care of by your office, I must say I will not be returning nor recommending your office. His physical took maybe 10 minutes, the other vet took 25-30 minutes with my pet....

Bentley, my HUGE English Mastiff and I both love Dr. Beth Weisberger. Its always hard to find a new Vet and when we moved here from Florida, I was certain no one would care for my baby boy like his previous Vet. I was so wrong. Dr. Beth has a way with animals that is amazing. Despite his size, Bentley clings to mommy and is scared easily, but Dr. Beth approached him in a compassionate manner and it just worked. Also, hes had chronic ear infections and she thoroughly explained possible causes, and ordered a special formula of medicine that would work for his size. The office does check up calls, as well. Because Bentley is not always dog friendly, Dr. Beths office staff "graciously" clears the waiting room when we walk in and gets us to a room. THANK YOU for all you do!! Oh, and you can typically get quick appointments and we love evening hours:-)

Called and made an appointment this morning at 9 am and described exactly what my dog needed because it has happened before. He had an ear infection and because he shakes his head alot because of that it made his ear fill with blood and needs drained. Well the receptionist scheduled my appointment today and when my dog was taken there they told.my family that they didnt have time to do that today, gave him medicine, charged for the office visit and was told to make another appointment next week? So why couldnt she tell me that on the phone earlier and I would have taken him somewhere else to have his ear drained instead of them trying to get more money out of us for more visits. Last time he had this done it was all done the same day at a much better place. Should have took him there again.

Smart, nice, good service. Theyve been flexible and good. I know they really care about animals. I switched to them on a friends recommendation when my dog was injured. She was senile, deaf, bad hips, acl had snapped. She was 6 months past the life span for the breed, muscles wasting.... Surgery would have been cruel. I needed help choosing to put her down. My former vet failed out of fear I would blame them for it later. They just used double talk and advised treatment that would have left her in horrible pain for the rest of her lifespan.Their vet honestly told me it was time. It was. I walked away feeling they put my dog first. Her pain mattered more than anything else. Thats as it should be. Ive kept them as my vet for the cats ever since

I called to get an estimate on vaccines for a puppy. There the only clinic in the Dayton area that wants $150 for the first visit for vaccines. Then an additional $65 per booster vaccine in which they wanted two boosters and every other clinic in the Dayton area only wants one booster. All the other veterinarians by the way so everybody knows they want $60 - 100 for the first visit. This veterinarian office also so everybody knows is not going to allow you to make your own medical decisions for your pets outside of surgical procedures everything else is up to them I wouldnt go there if my life depended on it!!!

I moved here from WV over a year ago and brought two dogs with me. I searched the internet for vets close to my home. After research on location, I searched reviews and made phone calls. I could not be happier with the way the staff made me feel. We have progressed from routine check ups to injuries all the while the staff has been compassionate, caring and immediately able to assist us. I tell everyone I know about the fantastic level of care we receive. While not the closest vet available to me, I do feel the are the best around!
