We had used this clinic since 1996. During that time we took our two dogs and two cats to them every year as well as when one or the other would be ill. We have experienced three problems during that time. 1. 4/03 when I had to put our 17 year old Siamese down the treatment by one of their "staff" was rude and resulted in my writing a letter of complaint. 2. 8/05 three months after taking our 14 yr old Norweigen Elkhound to them for her yearly checkup she could not stand and a had to be put down due to a large cancerous tumor on her spine why was this not caught during her yearly checkup we had complained but were told it was her hips due to her age 3. 8/07 two weeks after taking our beloved 11 yr old Sheltie MIKEY for his check up he became ill. $1000.00 and two weeks later we were told he needed his galbladder removed. The next day and $1500.00 more and during surgery(CARE) we were informed of cancerous tumors on his liver and kidneys we made the decision to have him put down that day. I voiced my complaint to Suburban the next day. Would I recomend this clinic NO. We have two new 6 mo old Shelties and a new vet. This is where now our other two Siamese cats, one 11 and one 4 yrs old, will be going. I just called for their records and they did not ask why we were leaving. I think they saw the writing on the wall and knew they better not ask why, or they just do not care. That is my bet, they just do not care. NEVER WILL GO BACK TO SUBURBAN EVER!!!

Our dog became a patient of Dr. J.K. Guarasci in 2010. She was transferred to Dr. Lokai a few years later after Dr. Guarasci left Suburban Veterinary Clinic. Last October (2016) we took her to the clinic because she had been vomiting. Dr. Lokai recommended a biopsy of the lymph nodes in her neck based on a high white blood cell count, and feeling that at least one of the lymph nodes was swollen. We paid $200 to have her biopsied by Dr. Lokai. He called a few days later to say that her salivary glands (not her lymph nodes) had been biopsied. He said that we could pay $400 for a different type of biopsy, or $50 for another blood test. He made no apologies for the error in the attempt to biopsy the lymph nodes, and no offer to reimburse us for it. Since our dog had not been sick since before the first visit, he commented that her glands were probably just swollen from an infection. He never recommended that we take her to specialist that would be more qualified to do a biopsy. She became ill again in January (2017), and we took her to a different veterinary clinic. They referred us to board-certified specialists at Medvet, who diagnosed her with Stage 4 lymphoma.

I first took my pets to Dr. John Guarasci 30 + years ago when I was in college and have always been pleased with the quality of care and compassion given to my pets and advice relating to their care. My daughter, who has worked in a different vet clinic, remarked recently on how compassionate Dr. G has remained over the years, and how well he relates to the pet. Everyone at Suburban has always been friendly, warm, and caring. We have also had a wonderful experience with Dr. Schrader, who promptly returned calls to us and worked closely with us in treating a rare disease our dog had.

Today we had to let our beloved pet of 16 years be put to sleep. Our Vet, Dr. Brown was gone this week. We were anxious about having someone other than him help us say goodbye to this sweet animal. Dr. Koesters stepped in and both he and the staff could not have been more kind and comforting to us and our pet. Thanks to all of you, (especially Dr. Brown,) for the terrific care we came to know from all of you.

We couldnt be more pleased. Dr. Hoying is a fantastic vet and has gone far beyond the norm on multiple occasions. Most recently, when we moved out of the area, she worked closely with us to ensure our sick pet was properly cared for during the move. She even made herself availiable over the phone, as necessary until we found a vet at our new location. SHE IS THE BEST!

My wife & I were very pleased to visit this clinic. The vets and staff here are very well trained and educated. Of course a good vet may be a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

Felt right at home from the moment we walked into the lobby, and we loved Dr. Hoying! She was very caring and knowledgeable. We are glad to have found a new Veterinarian home for our dog.

Incredible staff and doctors. A bit on the pricey side, but that is just part of doing business in Centerville.
