Stop looking, you ve found the best. Dr. Libby saved my best friend when no other vet would give us the time of day. Sid came down with Masticatory Muscle Myositis (an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks and consumes the muscles of the face) in May of 2013. We took him to OSU for emergencies and went to several local vets looking for a veterinarian who didn t think their job began and ended with yearly vaccinations and heartworm tests. By the end of July Sid had lost almost all of the muscle in his face and was down to 50 lbs from 75, basically skin stretched over a canine skeleton, due to side effects from his immuno-suppressants. No matter what we did, we could not get him to eat. We spent all day every day force feeding him with a syringe, but it took hours and 9 time out of 10 he would throw the food up anyway. We went to SO MANY vets with our sick starving dog, and NONE of them seemed to care! I begged them for an appetite stimulant, and alternate treatment, anything to prevent my dog from starving to death. He was so skinny he ruptured both ACLs for lack of muscling in his legs and still no one had any better advice than: "have you tried CANNED food?" Until we went to Creature Comforts. On our first visit we were given a canine anti-depressant and appetite stimulant and later that night Sid voluntarily ate his first full meal in months and kept it down! And Dr. Libby went further, recommending supplements that increased mobility in his knees and a complete blood profile (turns out he needed liver supplements). It s December and Sid is 70 lbs (some of the muscle loss was irreversible), goes hiking 3 times a week, hasn t had any further problems with MMM, and, despite his torn ACLs (unable to be repaired through surgery) is even able to jump again. I have no doubt that without the CARING, professional guidance of Dr. Libby we would have lost our best friend. If you love your animal(s), take them to Dr. Libby. Though our last concern, we also found her pricing to be INCREDIBLY reasonable. They didnt even charge us for check-ups and were always willing to work with us to find medications we could afford. Also, some vets can be annoyingly skittish around "pit bulls" (which describes Sid and our other dog) but Dr. Libby has known and loved pibbles of her own and does not hold any prejudices against them. I believe she does rescue work also.

Dr. Libby is SO wonderful! We found our pup on the shelter site looking to adopt. Libby just so happened to be his foster mom. Throughout the whole process of adopting him she had been more than willing to lend a hand or give advice whenever we needed it. We were going to take him to another vet but decided we REALLY liked Dr. Libby and our new pup loves her as well so why would we change! We drive about an hour but we believe its totally worth it especially because he LIKES going to the doctors office. And that is rare! Would absolutely recommend Creature Comforts for all your animal needs- even if you dont have one and you are looking to adopt. They might know of a good fit. :-D

We got our cat Mia from a rescue an hour away. She had eye surgery but were told she was all cleared and ready for adoption. We brought her home and made an appointment with Dr. Libby for a check over. Mia had a severe double ear infection and needed another eye surgery and was not fit for adoption. We called the rescue back and they gave us the run around. Dr. Libby immediately took over and offered the surgery to us at rescue prices in payments, something most vets wouldnt consider doing. 2 weeks later and Mia is doing so wonderful! These people truly care about animals!

Doc Libby and her staff (including Carla the groomer) are outstanding when it comes to caring for our babies (2 dogs and 4 cats). We have had to send some of our past babies back to the Lord and Dr. Libby helped us with the transition with great dignity and love. She also helped us find new pets to share our love with. Dr. Libby gives us total pet care every time we go in. She doesnt just treat the symptoms, she gets to the root of the problem. Excellent does not even beging to describe it!! There are no words that can come close to describing the dedication and love that Dr. Libby and her staff have for the animals that they come in contact with. Whether it is a client or one of the hundreds, (possibly thousands) that she rescues they are kind, caring and gentle. Dr. Libby has always taken care of our babies and always will. To say she is there for you and your pet is an understatement. We are lucky that we are close, but we would drive a million miles to get to Creature Comforts!

I met Dr. Libby through the adoption of my older dog, Gunny. She is the kindest, most caring, most sincere vet Ive ever met, period. I have since recommended her to pretty much everyone I know, and now that Ive adopted my younger dog, Chloe.... she goes to see Libby, too. It might be a drive if you live up by Columbus... but trust me - its WELL worth it. Her dedication to animals is inspiring.

We were regulars at Creature Comforts from 2001 to 2013 until we relocated. When you have to go in search of another vet, you realize what you had. I miss my vets there. Dr Kinsel always had a treatment or a theory and it was the right answer. She also has a lot of compassion. Maybe someday my cats and ill be able to move back.

Dr. Libbey and her staff are the best. They took such much wonderful care of our dog Hazel. When we had to make the hard decision to put her to sleep they we were so caring. When we choose to welcome a new dog to our family will definitely be going back. You couldnt ask for a better Vet or staff for your pet

We love Creature Comforts! They are affordable, particularly compared to most clinic, and they will price match deals found elsewhere on flea products, etc. My dog LOVES Dr. Libby. You can tell the people who work here truly love what they do and care about your pet. I cannot recommend them enough!

Just had my initial session with Dr. Kinsel at Creature Comforts. I was impressed and pleased by the staff and Dr. Kinsel. Dr. Kinsel asked great questions and was very straightforward with treatment, as well as being very kind. The cost of treatment and medication was VERY REASONABLE.
