I cant describe to a non-bunny owner how much I love my rabbits. I spoil them every day with nothing but the best. I asked my facebook rabbit owners group for a vet recommendation in the Tampa Bay area. More than a few people responded with Dr. Hughes. When we visited Dr. Hughes, I could definitely see why he garners such high praise. He is incredibly knowledgable in the care of rabbits and he is a former bunny-dad so he knows how special they are. I think I waited too long to get medical attention for my rabbit and Dr. Hughes had to give me bad news. He was very sensitive and caring. The next day when I realized everything he told me was a blur, I emailed a few questions and within minutes I received a call from the Dr. himself. He explained everything again and told me I could call any time. I highly recommend All Creatures Animal Clinic for all your creatures and fur-babies.

Terrible place - Dr. Hughes misdiagnosed our dog, telling us he had gastritis, after keeping our dog ALL DAY LONG and doing tests & x-rays (supposedly). Then he charged us almost $400 to give us a WRONG DIAGNOSIS. The medicine he gave us did not work, so we took our dog to a much better vet who told us within 1 hour that he had water on the lungs and cancer. Other vet did not understand why Dr. Hughes missed this!!! He should have his veterinary license stripped!! DONT GO THERE OR YOU MAY PAY LOTS OF MONEY FOR A MISDIAGNOSIS, AND THEN HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY FOR THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS!! HE IS A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE VET.

We used to take our animals to the Tarpon Woods Veterinary until they charged me 300 just to put my rat to sleep. Needless to say, I decided to look for a new vet. I found Dr. Hughes and have taken all my animals there since. He was great with my rabbit,two dogs, and two cats. He diagnosed appropriately and was very gentle with all our animals. He is very well priced. Dr. Huges and his staff are very nice and sincere. We recently had to put our eldest dog of 16 years to sleep. Afterward, we received a very sweet and sympathetic card in the mail from them. I would definetely reccommend Dr. Huges to anyone.

We have interviewed and tried many vets since ours retired, an oversight of one led to its passing, so it imperative to have a great veterinarian. Dr. Hughes IS THE BEST. Hands down. He has cared for our beloved bunny, helped through the hardship of our cat needing to let go, and has cared for our other cat & 5 dogs (our 12 turtles have not yet needed to be seen) I am grateful to have him in our lives, because he is calm, nurturing, educated, and explains everything. He is all of this and affordable & honest. Our family is appreciative to have him care for our furry (& not) loved ones.

PLEASE NOTE: Its actually in the East Lake Woodlands Plaza at the corner of East Lake and Tampa rd, not where Google is locating it! It is BEHIND the McDonalds, across the street from Target. You cannot see it from the street. Now for my review: They are always so good with my bunnies. I have taken my bunnies here many times for several things- neuter, broken arm, illness, etc. You can count on Dr. Hughes to narrow down what the problem is and prescribe a successful remedy. This vet came recommended to me by several others and I highly recommend him to anyone.

Weve been going to Dr. Hughes since 2001. He is very capable and caring. We have had some serious health issues with several of our dogs, and Dr. Hughes has been very thorough.He does all necessary tests and prescribing without over-medicating or doing unnecessary procedures. He has referred us to Florida Veterinary Specialists when necessary.He is reasonably priced and reminds me of the small-town neighborhood vet who really cares about you and your pet. I have recommended him many times and will continue to do so.

I adopted a holland lop. I took her to Dr. Hughes at the All Creatures Animal Clinic. They were wonderful and explained all about caring for my bunny and bunny behavior. I learned about better food options and even received a care booklet. I had no idea how expensive it was to have a bunny spayed. The experience was an eye opener in many ways, but she is doing well and I am grateful for all the information. I would recommend Dr. Hughes to anyone caring for a bunny.

The most awesome veterinarian on the planet. It is nice to have a vet that is concerned about the animal and not how much money the customer has in his pocket. Most vets try to bleed you for as much as they can, not Dr. Hughes. I consider myself Blessed to have found Dr. Hughes. Give him a try and you will see what I mean. Three of my neighbors now go to Dr. Hughes and love him as much as I do. Dr. Hughes is a rare find.

A year ago our Puggle stopped eating and his abdomen was tender. We brought him to Dr. Hughes where he accurately diagnosed him with Pancreatitis. Through a diet change he has recovered. I was worried that the visit would cost us a lot. Dr. Hughes ordered minimal blood work and was able to properly diagnose him without a lot of unnecessary tests. Our dogs are faithful patients and remain healthy because of Dr. Hughes.

I was looking for a vet with rabbit experience & had set up an appt. somewhere else to get our bunny neutered...until they sent me their ridiculous quote the day before! I would never compromise quality of care for price, but thought it best to keep searching & Im so glad I did! Dr. Hughes runs an honest, extremely caring, knowledgeable veterinary practice without the overpriced nonsense. Thank you!!

Dr. Hughes is a fantastic and compassionate veterinarian who deeply cares about all animals that he sees. He is quite reasonable in pricing and is my vet of choice. He has seen my cats and my dog and I have always had a wonderful experience there. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a vet to bring their pets to. He is very knowledgeable and is able to see and treat a wide variety of animals.

Never take a Chameleon to see Dr. Hughes. He shooed me away and insulted me. Said my Chameleon needed a surgery that he wouldnt do that day. And said he would just have to live with a bad eye! Yet my Vet at Erlich animal hospital was able to remove the piece of skin from his eye with no problem using a liquid solution and no SURGERY. this place is a joke!!!!!! They want money thats all!!!

My sister took her bunny here when she was seeing signs of GI stasis. The doctor was very helpful, did a thorough check up of the bunny and explained the treatment. We came on a half day, but he made sure she was taken care of. Its so hard to find a good vet, especially for bunnies. Hes a great vet. Very greatful.
