I had made an appointment to have a tooth filled (I had lost part of my filling while eating lunch, leaving a hole in the side of my tooth). I called as soon as it happened and made an appointment for the following day (happened while at work). I arrive for my 12:00 appointment. Did not get called into the exam area until 1:30pm, and the staff did not update those of us that were waiting about the delay or if the staff was running behind schedule. They did the normal xrays, etc since I was a new patient. Once the doc examined me, to see exactly what the problem was, he sent me over for a cleaning (but I had to wait another 15 minutes for the hygeniest to return from her lunch break). Once the cleaning was done, I returned to my original spot for the filling to be done. Due to my insurance, they were only able to do the traditional amalgam (metal type) filling. The person doing the filling (the EFDA--extended function dental assistant) stated she did not like doing those types of fillings. Now comes the fun part, the dentist, as he was drilling the remaining part of my old filling out, was watching TV as he was numbing me up. Then, as he was drilling, he was putting extreme pressure on my lower jaw, leaving me with a very sore jaw. Once that is all done, the dental assistant went and filled my tooth. I left out of there, finally after about 4 hours of being there, thinking everything was good. Unfortunately, I got home--tired from being there, numb, and hungry--and found that it still felt like there was still a bit of a hole left in the side of my tooth. I went back the following day (even though I had made another appointment for Monday to get it fixed) and thankfully didnt have to wait very long. The dentist took another look and told me that part of the filling had already come out, leaving the hole. So, they fixed the tooth again. Thankfully, they did it at no charge and used better material. This time, the actual DENTIST did it and not the EFDA. Again, he got a little heavy handed with pressing my bottom jaw down, and I am now taking motrin to help with the soreness of my jaw. I honestly dont think I will be going back here again. It was just a one (technically 2 time) visit to take care of a tooth that needed to be taken care of fairly quickly.

I came in for a broken tooth and it turned into them telling me I needed all this work done so I said why not and got it done. A few days after the broken tooth was fixed, I came back because I was in pain and the bottom side of my mouth was throbbing. They told me its my wisdom tooth and it needed to be pulled right away. Thank god I didnt get it pulled! They gave me ibuprofen which helped with the throbbing and I came back about a week later to get the work on my left side done which was some fillings. Later that night after the numbness wore off I ate some dinner and felt a pain shoot right through me. It was my nerve! My bite was also way off. I called up there again to tell them and they told me to come back the next day to look but were pretty sure theres nothing they could do. They informed me its normal to feel that way and that it could last for several days, weeks, or months. I went back the following day and all they did was give me another prescription of ibuprofen for pain and shave down my tooth a little bit. They also pushed me into doing a cleaning. The following day I started tasting metal and thats when I decided to get a second opinion. Good thing I did! The wisdom tooth they blamed for all my pain is actually the broken tooth they fixed or should I say didnt fix. Its infected and I now have to have a root canal. The teeth on the other side of my mouth that they supposedly fixed and the metal taste is coming from poor restorations and not being sealed. I had pieces of filling falling out and my gums are swollen from the pieces getting caught in between the 2 teeth. I also want to add that when immediadent did my so called cleaning they just brushed and flossed. No perio measurements were done and they didnt scale my teeth like they are supposed to do. I also want to add that they are extremely pushy on scheduling appointments. No is not an option for them! If no stars were an option thats what I would rate this place. They dont even deserve one! I now have to live in agonizing pain until I dispute their charges with my insurance company so I can get my work done properly elsewhere.

WOW Dr. Jordan is WONDERFUL! I wish I would have found her 10 years ago.She is what all dentists should aspire to be like.I will never go anywhere else after this experience today, and If she ever moves on to somewhere else there is no distance I wont travel to be able to see her. This place is not just for emergencies they provide complete and full service dental care. If you are as afraid of the dentist as I am ( I should be on anxiety med for this) this is who you want to see.If you cant eat or sleep for days before a dental apt or and pace the floors for hours like me this is the place you want to go to.My tech was a peach she was a great. This place is full of woman (1 guy)but all of these ladies were so very good to me I at times I didnt even feel like I was at the dentist, that to me is unbelievable.Dr. Jordan sat in my room with me and talked about what we need to do not just for today but a comprehensive plan, a realistic one at that $$$ . I cant say enough about Dr. Jordan, she is defiantly in the right business and more dentist should emulate her, there would be no fear of dentistry if everyone did.I will be bringing my whole family to her from now, this would have been a perfect visit if it wernt for the girl that was harping very loudly about the scheduling and who switched schedules w who..... she seemed very high school about the situation, something I would have expected out of my 16 year old not someone in her position, she seemed like she was making a mole hill out of an ant hill, very unprofessional, and her being so LOUD about it stressed me out even more! however after seeing the DR. I seen her(the loud one, I believe she is the office manager) about the financials of the matter and she was not as loud when she was dealing with me directly and she was very nice and helpful but maybe over time she will learn to not be so loud.I guess its just typical young woman are full of drama I know that but I dont want to see/hear at the dentist or anywhere that I am paying for a professional service.Shes a nice girl maybe just some learning in necessary.
