My experience at Refresh Dental of Medina was outstanding!! I have had anxity and fear of the Dentist ever since childhood. Receitly I needed 3 teeth pulled. Shortly before I had went into the office to see the oral surgeon I had went to another Dentist. He tried to pull just 1 of the 3. He attempted to pull the one out for over a half hour. After another shot of Novocaine, 15 more minutes of trying to pull and my nerves completely shot, he gave up. Then referred me to Refresh Dental of Medina. The oral surgeon knew how scared and nervous I was. He took the time to talk to me about what was going to be done and what there was to relax my nerves before and during the procedure. When arriving they gave me medicine to relax me. Once in the chair put the gas on me. Before I knew it he was done. It was timed and only took 6 minutes to be completely finished. Just knowing he cared about my comfort as much as getting the teeth out will have me referring him to any and everyone I know. On top of all that the staff "the one that helped him with the procedure" and "the receptionist" also went above, beyond and went out of their way to reassure me everything would be OK. They made sure to put a smile on my face. I will be going back not just for any surgical procedures that may ever be needed in the future but also for cleanings and checkups. Thanks to them I now have faith in Dentists for the first time in my life!! Thank you all for everything!!

I have been going to refresh dental for years. About a month ago I had a filling done on a tooth. Three weeks after having the filling done I started having pain in the same tooth. I called and made an appointment. The staff as always was very courteous and polite. I got an appointment in about a hour after calling. I went in and saw the same "Doctor" that filled the tooth. After an X-ray and physical exam, the "Doctor" could not find the source of the pain. I told him which it tooth it was and still nothing. Finally, I pointed to the tooth and using my finger nail located the source of the pain. After I pointed the spot out to the "Doctor," he found a fracture in my tooth and could now see it in the X-ray. This fracture would need a crown which is going to cost in excess of $1,100.00. I asked if the filling caused the fracture and I was told no it was probably from my bite or clinching of the teeth. I understand that fillings weaken the teeth but it was a small cavity that was filled. That has resulted in a fracture less than a month after a filling. The "Doctor" was not able to find any problem with my tooth until it was pointed out for him. This is not the kind of competence I want in an individual drilling in my teeth and making permanent changes to my mouth. This is not the first issue my family and I have had with the Doctors at this business. It was just the last one. If you are looking for a dentist, keep looking.

I would give less than one star for this "circus" if I could. The day we showed up to have my daughters wisdom teeth removed there was no one at the front desk but we could hear people moving about in the back of the offices. My husband literally had to yell to get someone to come to the front. The assistants had no idea where the "office personnel" were. They had no clue where her paperwork was at all. She did have her teeth out and its been a nightmare to get her any help or follow up care. They prescribed medication that she had adverse reactions too and then said they could not give her any more medication, even with dry sockets. If you want to remain in pain after having a procedure, by all means visit this facility. The staff is very friendly but one of the actual Dentists needs a lesson in "bedside" manner!!!! Dr. KOLOSIONEK, treated my daughter poorly. He would not listen to her and was very rude and abrupt. She left this facility in pain, in tears and very upset. Follow up care is NOT their forte. Theyd rather do their procedures and be done with you for good. If you do go back for follow up care, prepare to be treated like a moron and talked down to. Overall experience of this "circus" is less than desirable with 100% chance of NEVER returning!!

Today was my second visit there. The first one was longer than expected but they did alot of xrays. They also went over everything with me. They knew I had a bad experience before and they worked through that with me. Staff also listened when I said I had a child size mouth and never got my wisdom teeth. I went back in today to get an extraction. I took anxiety meds the night before. The staff and dr bassaro were awesome. He had great bedside manner, he kinda had a humm as he was doing it and listened to everything I had to say. They ask you questions to make small talk to get your mind off things. Staff is great. Pain is intense at times, but youre warned of this. I cant imagine having an extraction and not having any pain. So far..so good. I go back again to get 2 fillings fixed. Im not as nervous. Thank you.

I had a horrible experience here, do not recommend. First they are VERY unorgaganized and unprofessional. The staff is very rude and there is absolutely no privacy. I walked out during the middle of my exam due to the horrible bedside manner of all staff. This may offend some but I expect to have a dentist who can speak proper clear English, which I did not receive with any of the staff. Their equipment was not very clean and seemed outdated, they had a pile of examination tools just laying out where anyone could touch them. Horrible, horrible experience. I wish I could give them a negative 5 stars.

As a parent I would not recommend Refresh in Medina. They couldnt get appointments right and also have no idea what is going on. I have a lot of time wasted waiting for them to tell me they screwed up again. I dont trust them with the care of my child . My son was going to have a medical procedure and I felt that they were so unprofessional that I was concerned for my son. We will find a professional dentist and staff elsewhere. Read reviews I wish I did . Its amazing that this type of incompetence occurs in the medical field,very scary for a parent.

Office visits and treatments were great, and probably one of my best experiences with dental treatment. Thats where it ends. The "estimated cost" of procedures were quite literally 10 times less than what the actual cost was. I wouldnt have likely agreed to the procedure if I knew the real cost, and I feel like it was a deceptive business practice. I will be finding a new dentist.

Wendy my hygienist is the absolute best! As well as all of the staff! However when I go to the dentist I would like to be seen by the same dentist every visit. I was very pleased with the new dentist he is progressive and very thorough and clear about my personal dental needs just as Wendy always is.
