Have had great experiences with Dr Martello and his clinic. Theyve been straightforward, and are kind and compassionate. I have to laugh at the reviews complaining about wait times -- you simply dont realize, despite the empty-looking waiting room -- what may be going on in the exam rooms. A lot of times they bring emergencies in through another door, I should know. If it were ever your dying animal they squeezed in, despite making scheduled appointments wait a bit, youd be grateful instead of whining. And to the people who complain about the cost -- more of the "something for nothing" crowd. Despite caring for animals and providing medical services to them, it still is a business, with overhead and costs that must be covered, regardless of the good deed you think you are doing. I really appreciate this place. Veterinary care is expensive but Dr Martello manages to keep his prices lower than others in the area, and certainly lower than the corporate-care emergency veterinarian in Robinson. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic.

I had an unfortunate visit with this animal hospital. I had called and made an appt to have one abandoned female cat and her 4 kitten litter put down. Yes, I tried all the local humane socs, freecycle, craigslist and petfinder to find them homes. Over the phone, they told me it would cost $50. When I went to the appt, it cost $168 and the vet was extremely unfriendly that I was putting healthy animals to sleep even though I explained why I had to do so. I was very unhappy with the experience. I was also disappointed that they call themselves a hospital but dont have service 24hrs. They have an answering service that refers patients to a hospital all the way in Robinson Township.

I took my two dogs (one of which I rescued from the pound) to receive vaccinations before I boarded them this summer. I was in one room, both dogs were weighed, injected then released. I went to pay and they said it would be $86. They charged me $31.00 per dog plus the two shots claiming that they both had a full exam. If that is their idea of an exam all of our animals are in trouble. I tired to ask them if this policy was necessary and they kept stating it was the vets policy but he would never come to the phone to talk about it. Here I try to save a dogs life and do the responsible thing and get him vaccinated and I have to pay dearly for it. I will never go again!

I moved out of the area last October, but they were able to help me get flea chewables to protect my dog when I came back this summer. They are always helpful and do their best to get you in quickly, especially in emergency situations.
