Very disappointed with the services that were not provided for my sick dog on April 4th. Dr. Reynolds and technician showed no compassion as they presented me with an itemized estimate of $800 and $1090 bill without examining my dog or running test to see what was wrong with my dog. I asked Dr. Reynolds if we could at least run tests to see what was wrong with my dog and his reply was "then what?". Dr. Reynolds also informed me that the Animal Medical Center offered no payment plan and that the money would have to be paid up front. I was charged a $55 office call/Doctors exam although no exam was performed or any test run. I feel that this is an unethical practice to assume the worst and most expensive charges for services that were not provided.

We found this vet in an emergency after moving here 7 years ago. We have stayed because of their love and devotion to our pets. They are always so friendly and helpful. Their front desk staff is the best ever! They always have a smile and are willing to help you find coupons on your pets meds. The techs and vets are always patient with our questions. It is SERIOUSLY like taking your pet to family to have them looked after. I will never go anywhere else! Update 2017: Once again, they have spent hours saving one of my pugs lives! Poor guy has been dealing with colon issues the past few years and they have performed emergency surgery for him on two occasions now. Top notch employees and amazing care, as always!!

A few weeks ago our 14 yr old yorkie became sick We are in Beaufort on our boat for the winter and werent sure where to take him. I had heard of The Animal Medical Center so I called. We were able to get an appointment the same day with Dr. Damm. She was able to advise us and prescribe medication to treat our little guys problem and he had a full recovery. Everyone we met was very professional and compassionate. Thanks to Dr. Damm, Abby, Rachel, Alison, Frank and Dr. G. We also had our doggie groomed by Cammy. What a wonderful team. We highly recommend them for your pet care.

Our experience with the Animal Medical Center of the Lowcountry was truly life saving! The Doctors and staff had the knowledge and expertise that saved our beloved pet. There is no other clinic that I would take my furry family to as you will not find a more caring, amazing group of people to take care of your animals. I love the Animal Medical Center! I have taken my pets to Dr. Guilloud and Dr. Wreden since moving to Beaufort, and its always a pleasure dealing with the doctors and the staff. They are always kind to my two dogs, and are always willing to answer any questions I have about meds or procedures. They just got an awesome groomer, Cammy makes my Roxy look beautiful every time. I order my flea and heartworm meds from their online store, Ive never had a vets office offer this to me and its really convenient! Never switching vets in Beaufort, theyre awesome!

Dr. Guilloud and his staff are the epitome of what a veterinary clinic should be! Without ever having met them before, they got us through one of the toughest times of our lives as a family when we had to say goodbye to our pup. We were greeted with genuine love, hugs, and tears each time we arrived to the clinic, which meant the world to us. Dr. G went above and beyond for us during that time (and others since) and we are forever grateful for him and his staff. They are the absolute best and we will forever love them as family.

Dr Damm was so very kind and gentle to my normally very anxious cat. She quickly diagnosed the problem and got her on the road to recovery but had my furbaby cuddling into her neck which she has NEVER done with 3 other vets. I really like the staff here. All of the vets are thorough, but they dont perform unnecessary procedures or tests. You get good care at a reasonable price. Thats important when you have two dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs, and a rabbit.
