From the beginning I always try to read the reviews and base my decision off that. I was looking for boarding for my 15 year dog. I came across this vet and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. Well, first I called and set up an appointment. They asked me simple questions like how old is he? what breed? how many days is he staying? Finally, do you have his rabies vaccination? Of course, I answered all the questions she had asked me. So we were excited to find a place for him by the house. When it was time to board him all of a sudden he needed more. He needed all his vaccines and a deposit. Mind you I was never asked about this or told about any deposit. So I was a little confused. Luckily I let it slide and paid the deposit and gave them the paperwork. So I proceed to inform them and also wrote it down his minor issues and if anything is done please call first. I also told the tech the same thing. The whole time no phone call or type of notification. So finally picked my dog up and I had a whole new bill. (note: I did signed a waiver that if anything needs to be done if an illness that they could treat, but I stated that they needed to notify me first. I only signed it for vaccination reasons if he needed something to be board there.) when I saw the bill I told them why was I not informed. No answer and no excuses. I was calm and explained my situation. No attitude what-so-ever. The receptionist got the tech, then the tech came with the Vet ( Paul A. Shaffer) and when I say he automatically stereotyped me. Words couldnt describe how he made me feel as a client, although, I never fussed or fought with him. Saying, we have the right to treat because you signed a waiver, He is taking good care of my dog and if we feel like he needs to be treated we have the right to do so. He also said I can have an attitude and be mad, because he does not care. He doesnt care if I dont come back. Slams my paperwork on the counter and walks away. again, I said like two words to him and the whole entire time he was being rude to me. I am not a person that will waste energy on stupidity. All I wanted to know was why I didnt get notified. He wouldnt listen to me and at least try to understand my frustration with it. So yes, I would definitely never go back, but I wouldnt tell other people not to, that would be up to them. I would recommend to get all information from them before deciding to do something with this vet (especially with this Paul A. Shaffer). I will say that the staff was very calm and understanding and sweet. They understood my frustration and kept apologizing for this man. I told them this is not on you, its your boss that was rude, unprofessional, and it was uncalled for. I am truly disappointed about my experience.

I took my Boston Terrier for what I believed to be a ear infection since he kept on shaking his head and moving his ears. Not only did they take me in without an appointment on a busy Friday afternoon, but they also treated my pet like family. The doctor explained to me in detail everything he checked on my dog and then proceeded to tell me he only saw infection on one ear and only gave him antibiotic gel for one ear so he wasnt charging me the full thing. These people actually care about animals and arent in the business of charging you for everything like some vets. Fully recommend!

Ive been coming here for years. They have always taken really good care of my dogs. They are so nice and friendly. The Doctor is very knowledgeable and sweet. The staff is just awesome. Still love this place. Everyone is amazing, nice and organized. Dr. Shaffer is great. I drive from Weston fl just to see them. The only place that cared to see my ferret at the last min. They understand what our animals mean to us. Did surgery on my dog and 2 days passed and hes walking around like nothing happen. Absolutely love them.

Very good Experience. I felt it was a bit pricier than other options, but the service and quality was top notch. Veterinarian was kind and knowledgeable. They went through all the details of the results for my cat.
