This vet has always been a 10 to me. Now they wont see my dog that they have on 3 different seizure medications because I wouldnt let them cut open my puppy who only had the common fecal detected giardia. Treatable with probiotics. Cost 2200. Without surgery. In over three years I have spent thousands here and never complained once. If time allows Southern Medford emergency is top notch and only 110 to get in the door. 300 to walk in the door when they were already there didnt even get his temperature taken. Town and Country also has the option to let a pet radiologist read your radiography. I would recommend a second opinion before exploratory surgery after dogs improves over night. I wont mention names as I was lied to. They shaved my dog for surgery and denied to let me see him But the vets boyfriend took him for a walk. Unprofessional....Id pay anything to save my dogs and average 500 a month at town and country. Guess its all about the money. If your dog needs a ride to Medford, let me know. All my paperwork said my dog was doing better and they didnt test him for what they say is a common parasite. I was not entitled to a second opinion. My dog is home and doing well. If not for some supportive friends and God he would be lying alone in a kennel full of stitches and at risk for paratanitis. I have evidence that supports all of this. If you want the vets name, message me. I would hate for anyone else to go thru what I did. My dogs come first....I will miss the staff and Dr Sara. Please dont hesitate to message me if you have questions. I have all documentation. If you have a dog with seizures I can tell you what has been effective for my dog who I was told wouldnt see 5 after asking for a partial refund. I will file a complaint with the state only to try and prevent others from what I went through.

We moved to Brookings in June of 2012 - we brought our very elderly cat with us. He was mostly OK with the move then refused to use the sand box - but still went outdoors to prowl. We signed up with T & C when we moved to town and ultimately "JT" began having age related signs - The staff of T & C were great - we had planned to be out of town for two weeks and were going to board the cat but that was before he just couldnt hold his stamina. While we were out of town they kept him in the hospital section (no extra charge for boarding) and kept him on IV fluids - When we returned we had to make that awful decision. The staff were very supportive and even sent us a sympathy card when he was gone. After six months we adopted two adult cats and will only take them to T & C - We boarded them for two weeks while we were on vacation they came home healthy and happy.

I brought my best friend here with a leg and neck injury. They fit him in on the same day and they spent a lot of time giving information and advice. We saw Dr. Becky and I never felt rushed or like she was in a hurry to leave. She offered the best possible procedures and let me decide what I could afford. She never made me feel like a bad owner because I couldnt afford some things. The facility is immaculate and the care is even better. You wont find a better vet clinic on the coast.

Town and Country Vet has now treated 3 of our pets - 2 dogs and 1 cat for emergency care. Every vet we have seen has taken the time to get to know our pet and make them comfortable. Everything was explained to us so we were able to grasp the extent of the emergency. Could not ask for better emergency care.

My 2 dogs have been patients of Town and Country for over 5 years. I made an apt for Wednesday 5/14/14. My dog was there for 8 hours without being seen. I didnt know that if you scheduled a drop off they are seen when able. Only regular appointments from now on. Something they forgot to tell me.

Just another vet to nickel and dime you and manipulate your fears and feelings to get you to dish out more money. Typical. They pull the possible cancer card over the most minor things. Dont fall for it, I didnt.
