I have lived nearby for two years and had avoided this business due to poor online reviews on another site. How wrong that was. Last year I ended up going all the way into Portland to a new place, was prescribed a medication that didnt work well at all, and I took it to the wrong pharmacy and was charged $255.00 because I didnt have insurance. Gresham Urgent Care dispenses different medications at a vending machine for an amazingly low price even without insurance (it was FIFTEEN DOLLARS). Fast, easy, convenient when you are sick!! I had medication in my system within one hour of walking in the place. That is unheard of until now. I had a reason to go today, walked in, was put in an exam room within 5-10 minutes, seen about 20 minutes later, and walked out the door with a couple of prescriptions - one which was filled for less than half the price at a major drug store chain. It was $15.00. My experience was great. I was feeling and looking lousy, and everyone was friendly, very polite, helpful and efficient. I wish Id gone here sooner. Ive been feeling lousy from a chronic condition and decided to chance going in. They give 20% off the $150 price if you pay in full at the time of visit, which I did ($118, charged at end-credit back to debit card). They do have appointments, which I wish Id known about, so I wasnt in fear of waiting a long time, but it turned out that I didnt have to wait anyway. They do DOT/ODL physicals and sports physicals for a very reasonable price. Gresham Urgent Care is very nice, clean and efficient. Overall it was an excellent experience especially since I was feeling lousy due to a bronchial infection.

I have Fibromyalgia, and recently on travel (travel that is stressful - and I am out here visiting family), I get really bad fare-ups. These doctors at Urgent Care centers #1 know nothing about Fibromyalgia and #2 treat you like youre just a narcotic seeking tweeker! This doctor was real arrogant and rude. He kept asking me questions about what I do, outside of my medication, normally to control the Fibro. "What does that matter and what are YOU gonna do for me this morning" is what I wanted to ask him after slapping his face - but I knew that would not help. Here I sit, it serious pain and he looks at me like I am faking just to get drugs. He prescribes the weakest muscle relaxant and tells me, at 400mg of celebrex, Ive pretty much exhausted the amout of NSAIDs I can take in a day - NOT TRUE according to Advil package instructions! Whata jerk! When I ask if going to my hotels hot tub for a soak would be good, he said "yes" - uh, excuse me! I have a heart condition #1 (which he would know by my meds list, and I told him I get CAS) and #2 anyone knows you should not use a Hot Tub while on muscle relaxers or narcotics. Hed rather I go to hot tub with the risks involved than give me some Percocet (which I KNOW works). What a jerk! My advice - spend the extra money and go to a regular ER - they are not as "freaked out" about giving real drugs for pain and (in my experience) are much nicer - plus those docs understand chronic pain.

Wow! Online check in was a nice convenience. First impression was great: we were seen immediately (we were also only one of two patients there at the time) and the facility was clean with staff present and visibly working. My dad fell into his shoulder and we thought it was dislocated (we were wrong). The MAs were efficient and to the point and the PA, D. Koch, was quick and professionally easy going. He explained what was actually going on in a very easy to understand way and confirmed the diagnosis with an xray. I wish the MAs names were on the AVS so I could give them all more specific kudos. We left with a clear understanding what we need to follow up on with my dads PCP. The only downside for the whole experience was that I couldnt find any sugar from their complimentary tea bar, and who actually cares about that? Edit: I read some of the one-star reviews and had a good laugh with my family. Apparently, going to a clinic for two separate appointments and paying for both appointments is an outrage [sarcasm]. And to the fellow going to urgent care for ADD meds...you sound either like a drug seeker or like you really dont know what an urgent care facility is for. People, urgent care is not a replacement for your PCP. Soap box done.

No wait which is amazing! Treated me so poorly which is more amazing. I hurt! I hurt so bad that I am literally in tears. I cant walk without a cane or using ledges. Offers a referral to physical therapy? I dont need a referral, I can go on my own. I NEED something for my pain more than OTC meds. I cant get in to my primary care phisician until December 2. Yes, I have an appointment!!! FFS, I AM NOT A DRUG SEEKER! Yes, I have a prescription for Percocet. Since April I have been given 60. That is NOT drug seeking. Refer me to a neuro doc, offer something!!! I have been a fairly large supporter of Legacy Health.. Wife literally had surgery in September at Salmon creek, then spent a week at Good Sam on the cancer care unit. Both positive experiences.. This one however was horrible.. I wish you could feel my pain Leigh Johnson. Truly feel it... And see how long you can go without pain meds. i see someone from legacy responds to these reviews.. Instead of asking me what can be done better, share with your administration.. Share that because if one PA who has NO empathy they have lost a family who has supported legacy. Look it up in Epic...regretfully hurting physically and now mentally! Jason L. Dunson

I came in to get antibiotics for an infection. My primary doctor was not able to do anything for me due to the snow. So he said go to urgent care and get antibiotics for the weekend. Im a clean cut respectful person. I walked into this clinic and after receiving different information then i did on the phone, the head male nurse came up to me and engaged in friendly conversation. He asked one specific question and I swear as I go to answer, he turns his back to me and walks away. Like I clearly didnt matter in anyway. (Again Im a non drug addict productive member of society.) For whatever reason the head male nurse had grown tired of our conversation and started a new one with another male nurse. I politely stopped talking and smiled, turned and walked out. I guess ill wait till Monday to see my primary doctor to treat my infection. I felt like a sheep.. The sheepeople dont matter here. I hope your experience is better then mine.

My husband and I were vacationing in Hawaii when our 20 old daughter called us in tears telling us how much pain she was in and she thinks she has strep throat. (She knows the symptoms.) It was a Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m and she was going to go to the E.R., but I told her to go to Gresham Urgent Care because I just called them for her and they are open until 9 p.m., and I told them she was on her way. She got there just before 9 as worker was letting people out and going to lock the door. My daughter tried to come in, but they said, "they were closed." She tearfully stated that her mom had just called and that they should be expecting her and that she was in pain. And the lady replied, "Well, were closed." What kind of office turns away someone crying at their doorway and was there before 9:00?! Thoroughly disgusted at the lack of compassion at this clinic. Very cold-hearted, you should be ashamed!
