Pros: Easy scheduling Cons: For starters, the doctors don’t perform the exam at Eye Care Physicians and Surgeons. Both times I have seen the “eye doctor” have resulted in techs or assistants performing the actual eye exam, with the doctor popping in at the last second to sign off on the work. Naturally, I was billed at the doctor rate. So a “comprehensive eye exam”, which takes perhaps 10 minutes, is $180, of which maybe 2 minutes is spent seeing an actual doctor. Yes, it is a total ripoff. Adding insult to injury, these “doctors” could not get my prescription right. I gave them two chances, and they never came close, which resulted in extensive delays having new glasses made and remade. Also, the whole point of me choosing to do business with Eye Care was so an ophthalmologist could tell me why my right eye occasionally had allergy-like problems. Dr. Warner looked at my eye for a few seconds and said he couldn’t see anything wrong so I was told to “use allergy drops.” Except that wasn’t the problem — the optometrist at Costco correctly diagnosed an extreme dry eye condition that literally doesn’t produce tears or oil, and recommended I use three different products to re-stimulate those right-eye glands, which is working. Save yourself time and hassle by going somewhere else for your eye care because all these people care about is your money.

The best thing about this place is the receptionist at the door. She was wonderful. But thats as far as it goes. It should NOT take 2 hours for an eye exam. Thats crazy. The exam is completed by opticians, not the doctor. Once, I started choosing glasses, the woman helping me kept handing me the same style that I explained I didnt like. She then started trying glasses on herself and no longer helped me at all. I ordered contacts but was not told how long it would be before I would get them. I was not given a per box breakdown on the contacts, and it turns out I was charged quite a bit more than other places. Once home, I realized they entered my address incorrectly and my contacts are being delivered to my home. GREAT. I have attempted to call numerous times to correct it, but only receive a voicemail. Do yourself a favor....go elsewhere. * Addendum: I finally reached someone at the office, and instead of doing a direct ship to my home, they incorrectly had them shipped to keizer. So now I have to take work off to drive 45 min round trip to get them.

Had an appointment for 07:35 am. lights off and no cars in the parking lot so sat in car and waited. At 08:00 saw people enter the door. I went in and was told they had to reschedule me as I was late. I told them the door was locked.
