Friendly Staff. Dr. Essex has been my primary doctor for nearly 10 years until 2016, I was less than happy with this service and knowledge, I feel hes much outdated- I asked several times for blood work & stated I had abnormal uterine bleeding- I later sought urgent medical attention where ER doctor discovered an infection. His utter lack of common sense caused me not only emotional trauma but physical trauma. I would advise seeking medical attention from a professional.

I saw Dr. Essex for knee injections. I was scared because I had never had them before. He immediately (as well as his staff) made me feel comfortable, calmed my nerves, and made me laugh! It was such a nothing procedure, less painful than donating blood! I was shocked and amazed I had worried for nothing. He and his staff are amazing.

He is an old Navy doctor who really knows his stuff. My family and I have been going to Dr. Essexs for several years now. His sense of humor and straight talking is uncommon in doctors these days.
