I personally know the people who work here.. do NOT take your animals here!!! The employees only work here because they "cant find another clinic to work in" and a lot are burnt out (including the vets) to the point where it is just protocol to put another animal down. It is cheaper than a lot of places, but why do you think...? Its like the McDonalds of pet care... they can end up making your animal worse! This place is also FILTHY. If you have a feline, I greatly recommend taking them to the Cat Hospital of Portland right down the street on 13th and Tacoma :). They are AMAZING and clean!

excessive treatment of the symptom (itchy skin) instead of trying and help me figure out the source of my cats skin problems led to his early death after organ failure, likely brought on by the 6 steroid shots they gave him over the course of about a year. After i found out how bad the shots were for him i stopped taking him there, and figured out on my own he had a food allergy (everything cleared up when i switched him to a raw meat diet, which i know isnt "suggested"). But at that point the damage had been done and it turned out he only had about a year left in him, he was only 5.

Thank you once again, Bob & vets for welcoming my new rescue into my family. Not only did they discount the exam fee as he was a shelter dog, they gave the best care anywhere. We have been using this clinic since it opened in 1998. The staff is the most caring group of people in the business. They take all their clients seriously and provide the best care possible. I would highly recommend these great folks.

I have been taking my dogs here since 2003 and they have been wonderful -- compassionate, flexible, and reasonably priced. Even when I moved an hour north I kept going because a good vet is hard to find. Its not just the vets who are great, either; its the entire staff. Ive recommended Moreland to several people over the years, all of whom still take their pets here.

I went to another vet across town that recomended some questionable treatments and charged a lot. Dr. Scott and the rest of the staff are efficient and kind, and are very down to earth and honest about diagnosis and treatments. My dog is never scared to be there and the prices are very reasonable. I am so happy I changed to this vet.

Ive been going to the Moreland Vet now for a few months since weve moved to the Portland area. The vets and staff are excellent with our animals and always go above and beyond to help us and answer our questions. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the Sellwood area.

Amazing people! Love Dr. Scott. Weve been going here for about 15 years and theyve helped us welcome new pets to our family, say goodbye to a few and help find families for some homeless, stray kittens. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Dr. Bruno was able to examine my bunny by palpitating her abdomen. My previous vet, needed to perform X-rays and blood tests to diagnose the same condition. $600 less expensive too!

These guys are the best! Always willing to work with us if $ is a concern AND the office exam is only $55 (for cats). So it isnt a huge burden to take your pet in for minor injuries.
