Pros: ranges of quality; convenient location; off street parking Cons: quality; prices; shop set-up -1: quality -1: shop set up -1: prices The three cornerstones of any successful business are 1) location; 2) product demand (i.e. Quality); and 3) competitive pricing. This location fails on 2 of the 3. I liken this location to the days of going to your dealers house - uncomfortable, suspect, and simply put - you want to get the hell out. The two largest issues are quality and the shop set up. Ill address quality first; this is not a connoisseurs dream. The flowers are not of high quality - no pun intended. Many are older (showing test dates of summer 2015) and the growers appear to be novice, maybe intermediate at best. A large portion of the flowers have poor trim jobs, and I had a strain of Cinex that was not properly flushed as it smelled and tasted slightly like hay. I had one strain as part of the Crash family which was the best one Ive seen yet, but also havent seen it back at this location since. Secondly, shop set-up: Ill pull no punches - it is a nightmare. Im fully aware they are working on this and actively undergone construction; however, it doesnt account for the time from October through current (6months) that this has been a serious issue. The shop itself is extremely small - maybe 800 sq feet of showroom if youre being generous. This results in a huge bottleneck of patrons who are forced to wait outside - on the side of a busy street nonetheless - in every type of weather. Additionally, the interior is extremely cluttered and jammed full of as much crap that they can possibly fit into the said 800 sq feet. Given the significant issues, I almost always make the effort to go elsewhere but will go here if in a pinch.

Pros 1. Great Staff 2. Okay weed 3. Lots of parking 4. Punch card (free Gram) Cons 1. Prices 2. No deals 3. No lobby 4. Horrible concentrates The Flower is decent but the prices are to high. I would pay top dollar for top shelf weed, but they are charging top dollar for midgrade weed, and thats not cool. Stay away from the concentrates. I test the thc whenever i purchase oil and there percentages are never accurate. If it says 95% its realy like 75-80% the Snap and Pull is a nightmare. The first two times I purchased some snap and pull it was melted into the wax paper when I got home I put it in the freezer it did no good total loss on my behalf i got like .2 out of 1gram. Thank God there is a God, my brother told me about Main street Marijuana in Vancouver WA. They truly have the best prices and deals around hands down. Its the only place I ever go now. There products are on point there oil, shatter, wax, crumble, Flower, cartridges, edibles. You cant go wrong they have something for everyone go see for yourself you wont be disappointed.

I usually shop here a couple times a week, and I am always happy with their recommendations. Last night I walked there like usual, but the weather was horrible, so I quickly got in and out. About 30 min after I returned home I realized I lost my wallet, so frantically retraced my steps back there. They were already closed for the night, but luckily one of the employees was walking out of the store, and was immediately relieved that I came back for my wallet, and got it for me, and I could hear the other employees still inside sound joyful that I returned. I am SO thankful for them, I will certainly recommend this place to all my friends and coworkers, not just for their selection, knowledge and customer service, but for being awesome human beings.

This is my local store. Given that Gresham, Fairview, Wood Village and Troutdale are NOT Portland, I feel lucky that Wood Village has even allowed them to operate -- they have no competition for miles. The space is tiny and can accommodate only four or five customers at most, so often there are lines and all transactions are hurried (not the best way to explore new products) but these folks are hopefully making money hand over fist. I only shop top shelf high end indica with the highest THC in it and I find plenty of choice here -- certainly more than I could ever smoke -- and I have OMMP status so dont pay tax, but I would prefer the ambiance of an old-time hardware store where one can confer with staff and fellow customers about ones projects.

I AM AN OMMP PATIENT AND WORK IN A MEDICAL OFFICE WHERE PATIENTS COME TO GET THEIR APS SIGNED TO GET THEIR CARD, THIS IS THE WORST DISPENSARY IVE EVER BEEN TO! THEY ARE OVER CHARGING PATIENTS AND RECREATIONAL USERS. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. IT IS WELL WORTH YOUR TIME TO DRIVE/HOP ON A BUS AND GO TO 122ND AND GLISAN TO NECTAR. I PAID 56 DOLLARS FOR 4 GRAMS!! WITH TAXES, A RECREATIONAL USER WOULD HAVE PAID 70 DOLLARS!!! THE PRODUCT SITS TOO LONG ON THE SHELF AND HAS BEEN OPENED MANY TIMES AND DOES NOT HOLD THE QUALITY OR STRENGTH THEY WILL TELL YOU. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AS IVE WORKED IN THE OMMP COMMUNITY PERSONALLY AND KNOW WHATS AVAILABLE. SPREAD THE WORD, DO NOT GO HERE, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

My wife decided to give NW Compassion Medical Center a chance because we had passed her usual dispensary on our way home. We didnt want to turn around, and being tired and interested in getting home in a timely fashion, kids in the car w/ us, we stopped there. She went in. And quickly returned. The customer service was poor. Impatient workers gave bad information, attempting to up-sell, avoided mentioning specials, and got upset when corrected. Will not be back. With MANY great dispensaries in Portland, dont waste your time going there. Better deals ELSEWHERE with workers with good customer service, reward systems, and way better deals!

Very disorganized with their products. I have gone to this dispensary a few times now and it doesnt seem to get better I wish their employees were more concerned with their customers instead of having people crammed into a tiny hot room and pushing them out the door as fast as possible. Their prices are outrageous no matter the strain and even though they are .5 miles away from me and I walk I would prefer to take the extra time to go to a dispensary 8 miles away that has excellent service and deals. Hope this dispensary gets better as I go to dispensaries 4 out 7 days a week.

Compassion in the name is very misleading. My fiance and I came to Oregon for the solar eclipse. We wanted to stop for some edibles and unfortunately the poorest rated dispensary was closest. Dont ignore poor ratings! The service was horrible. Shame on us for being from out of state. One employee even commented that he "couldnt wait for everyone to go home" referring to his out of state patrons. Definitely not our first dispensary visit but by far the worst. Trust reviews and go somewhere else.

Went in and waited by the door for five minutes in 93 degree weather.Waited and stood there not asked one time if I was helped they literally acted like I was a statue. I have NEVER been ignored by a businesses let alone a petty dispensary. As such, this place of business is a disposable as the sub-par product they oversell. Amazed that people pay so much for such low quality product.Northwest compassion?smh take this L, and Gresham take this L for allowing such a low-class business exist.
