Took my birds there when I first started rescuing them. First bird was paralyzed with broken back & never given pain meds. Second baby bird I was told had something wrong with her toe called bumble foot & he just put a bird down the previous week for same thing. Shes does not have that! Third bird I was told had mites, but luckily at this point I realized I need to start going elsewhere. Followed up with a vet who ran tests unlike MV & it was a bacterial infection. Also, whoever attempted to clip my babys birds wings, was supposed to do a slight clip, but HACKED her wings. They cut them completely wrong so she will never be able to regrow flight feathers and be able to fly. I took her to a specialist in another state and they were floored at what they did to her wings. How sad for a bird that can live for 60 years to be stripped of this. Very disappointed in my experience with my birds here.

The reviewer who did not like Dr. White couldnt be more wrong. Our dog has been extremely skittish of people ever since we got her from the Humane Society 9 years ago. Dr. White is the only doctor who she likes and is not afraid of. Dr. White is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and always performs a very thorough evaluation. I wouldnt be so quick to lay blame with Dr. White for your pets misfortune. Different illnesses progress at different paces and show different symptoms all the time. We really like the staff at Moon Vet and have taken our pets there since we moved to the Moon area many years ago and will continue to do so.

Dr.Betlem was great and very compassionate even though it was not good news for our dog paisley, we found out that she has terminal pancreatic cancer and eventually we have to put her down and cremation. I set up a fundme account because we cant afford alot of the testing, medications and special diet but only got one person to donate so far. I set it up on Facebook under Kristin S Gardom White!! Hopefully we can get some people to help because we just dont know how long she has and shes our family member not just a dog. Dr. Betlem was very understanding and I could tell that he cared about animals very much!!

I took my 6 pound, 16yr old Birman cat to the Moon Vet Hosp in the middle of Dec 2012 for rabies and other vaccinations...She even mentioned how healthy the cat is for her age...... Within 10 days she was BLIND... In 3 months, she was DEAD. Dr. White never explained or warned me that i had anything to worry about and proceded to give her the injection. Ironically, Dr White was the one who was available the day we had to put her down..... that is the last time Dr White will ever see any of my pets!!!!! I will never use the Moon Vet Hosp again.

Wonderful and caring veterinarians and staff. Our animals have been cared for by Moon Vet for 20+ years. Dr. Marshall made "farm calls" to our Moon Township home for our miniature Donkeys. Moon Vet also treated 3 ferrets and 7 miniature Schnauzers. Dr. Dustin Betlam is my first choice for quality care - he takes the time to answer ALL of my questions and I never feel rushed. I also love Dr. Marshall but he tends to talk in "medical terms" and its hard to understand what hes saying sometimes. :)

I took my wounded chicken into the Moon Veterinary Hospital today and I would like to say although the outcome was grave, I was extremely comforted and pleased with Dr. Dustin Betlem. Not only did he explain thoroughly the options but also treated my chicken as if it was his own pet. I would recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone. They are wonderful!

Last year December 31st 2015 around 10:15am they had to put down are great Dane named Bella that crushed me I cried like a baby. Dr Betlam a couple days later comforted me and my family. They also sent us a sympathy card and the whole staff signed it, and Im not sure most hospitals do that that just goes to show you how much they ALL CARE

Depending on who is working front staff can be really rude. Told them we already had our dog vaccinated for rabies, but forgot the papers, said they would get it from the other vet, by the end of the visit they had given my dog another rabies vaccine without my approval. In fairness the actual vets were very pleasant and kind.

Disorganized. Forgetful. Rude. They have 1 warm person who works up front, the rest of the front desk women are cold. Dr McCune rarely returns phone call. Dr Marshall seems to be suffering from a decline in his memory and forgets conversations. He used to be different but something changed.

I have been going here for years! Dr. Marshall is the best vet! He takes his time and truly cares about animals. The staff is always friendly and very warm. I recently put a cat to sleep and they were soo caring and accommodating. Best Vet in Pittsburgh. I promise you.

This place is amazing!! Only vet that would do the surgery to fix my puppies broken leg other than the over priced hospitals in our area! Everyone here is awesome and truely care aboit your pet!

I will not be returning to the Moon Vet again. They are more than willing to mislead their patients into getting expensive Spay/Neuter Procedures. Very Untrustworthy
