Requested a few different items at check-up and was very disappointed. Specifically asked for facial hair to be trimmed and it wasnt. Also they cut the whiskers on one side of the face. Shouldnt be cutting whiskers and I guess they remembered that halfway through. Also I was charged for fecal test which they did not do and did not ask me to collect a specimen until I brought up that I was charged and there were no results. Asked for records to be emailed to me and they said they would. They didnt and those records were necessary so that I could place my cats in pet daycare in Sarasota during the hurricane. Went up there to get them and was greeted by the veterinarian being a TOTAL jerk. Sorry to bug you but if you had done what you said you would I wouldnt have to come up there when I should be boarding up my home.

Ive been taking both my dogs there for 3 or 4 years for grooming and health needs. One of my dogs has a recurring skin allergy. The doctor insists upon an office visit to renew the antibiotic prescription. I get that if it seems to be something new or different but this is the same thing in the same spot each time. Once I was able to get a refill without an office visit because the allergy came back within a 6 month period. However, today I was told the doctor required an office visit and the last bout of the allergy was only 4 months ago. Also, when Dr. Gerards associate remarked, "Ewww, whats that on your dogs nose (he is an older dog and has a little cauliflower looking growth on his nose) I wasnt exactly instilled with confidence in her. Going elsewhere.

i wont take my lil baby anywhere else, i live out west in the farms and its close to me, but even if he moved 20 miles i would make the drive, he is kind, patient, understanding and handles my unruly baby with care (pomeranian) if you want a loving, kind person to handle your babies, go here, the time he takes to explain things to you is more than comforting, highly reccommend.

Dr. Mitchell and staff honestly care about animals! We have a 8 year old Cocker with some health issues. They worked with us knowing we could not afford a ton. I could not be more appreciative! Now our Cocker is doing GREAT! I would highly recommend their office if you are new to the area or if you just need a new vet in general!

Super-friendly front office staff (Lisa & Crissy) nice doctor (met with Kluge (sp?). They offer affordable vet care and boarding. It is a small office feel which I like, it feels less like a corporate vet or boarding facility and more like a friendly office where you know your pet will receive loving and happy care.

Dr. Brian Gerard is very good with doggie allergies. The staff is very friendly and treats me like family. Plus, my little doggie needs a special shot every 21 days. Although I have to pay for the medicine. They give her the shot for free. Most places would not. Thanks Dr. Gerard

I transplanted to Jup/Tequesta four years ago. Not knowing which way was up, I bounced around from vet to vet until I came across JAH. Cant say enough good things about the place. Caring staff, excellent care, and top notch grooming. Best place in town to bring your critters to.

Amazing care, Dr. Mitchell saved my dog. Gizmo ate a bone that was lodged in her throat. She was lifeless and blue, The staff was amazing and so compassionate. I will be grateful forever. I would recommend only this hospital if you live in Jupiter.
