Robinson Animal Hospital, while not the cheapest vet around, has great service and a very knowledgeable staff. Right off Rte 60 in Robinson Township, the place definitely needs a bigger parking lot. The parking situation really is atrocious. That being said, once you get inside, the situation changes for the better. The waiting room is decently large, clean and comfortable. There is almost always a wait, so appointments are pretty much a necessity. The vets can take a number of pets at once, though, so the wait is never terrible. Once you and your pet are in, the staff and doctors definitely all take the time to try and understand the problem, diagnose the issue, and work with you to get the best and most cost effective treatment for the pet. Ive never had them push unnecessary xrays, tests, or drugs for my pets. They are also very sensitive and understanding when it comes time to have your pet put down. When our cat had to be put down, they took us to a quiet room and we were allowed to spend as much time as we needed to to say goodbye. About two weeks after, we received a sympathy card in the mail signed by all the staff including the vets. It was an extremely thoughtful touch. Not all is rainbows and unicorns...I mentioned the parking situation previously. The parking lot is really only good for about 6 to 8 cars, and thats doubling up and blocking in some places. Also, theyre not the cheapest. Theyre not outrageously expensive as far as vets go, but Ive rarely escaped for less than $100. But...the service and dedication of the staff more than make up for this. All in all, Id highly recommend Robinson Animal Hospital for anyone with a small household pet. The staff are truly caring professionals who will definitely give their best for you and your pet.

We started taking our dog there about two years ago after we moved to the area. The receptionists were always rude and the wait time was ridiculous. A little over a year ago our dog was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma cancer. We decided against surgery because of her age and focused on maintaining her health otherwise. This week her health steadily started to decline. Her tumor had opened up and began to bleed. Then in the evening all of a sudden our very energetic up-beat dog no longer wanted to eat. The next morning she was constipated and could hardly walk. She seemed very disoriented. I called the vet and the only time they could fit her in was three days later. And finally the next day she started to shake and couldnt move at all. I called the vet to explain that her condition had worsened. The receptionist was extremely rude. She told me that she had no openings but would check with the doctor to see if my dog could be seen for an emergency case. After being on hold for an extremely long time she told me that both doctors were busy and so she didnt know. My dog was clearly in a lot of pain so I told her that we would take her to our old vet an hour away or to the emergency care on Camp Horne, PVSEC. Her response was to call if I needed to cancel my appointment for Monday and then hung up on me. We took our dog to the PVSEC where we had to sadly put her down. The staff there was wonderful and I am very pleased with how kind and understanding they were with us and our dog. As for robinson animal hospital, we will never go there again. For a place dedicated to helping animals, they seem to have no interest in doing so.

I was highly disappointed with the service. I moved to the Robinson area and was seeking a new vet for my dog. I read many great raving reviews about this clinic, but from the receptionist to the tech to the vet I was not impressed. Even though I had an appointment, I waited almost an hour. The only person who even acknowledged and apologized about that was the vet, not the reception staff nor the tech. Even though I had made sure that complete medical records were faxed from the previous vet and was received, no one had bothered to even look at them let alone read any of it. In fact, the vet tech complained to me that the records were just too long and asked me if my dog was up to date. After that visit, less than two weeks later, I received an email from Robinson Animal Clinic that my dog was due for his annual check up and shots! Had they bothered to check, it could have saved me the trip AND another office visit fee which was not small! I found the reception area to be chaotic, it seemed that they were understaffed and overwhelmed. The receptionist had given me wrong or not accurate directions over the phone, and when I tried to point this out to save the trouble for other new patients, she was very abrupt and rude. I willl not be taking my four legged baby to this place again!

STAY AWAY! Very rude staff who do not communicate!! I called to schedule and appointment and told the lady on the phone that I have a coupon for a free 1st time visit. I showed up for my appointment and showed her the coupon on my phone. When the vet assistant called me back she rudely told me that I cannot use my coupon unless I have a hard copy. I explained to her that I was told that I could use it and she said that I was lying because the whole staff knows that unless its printed out they cannot accept it. I was the last appointment of the day. If they told me this information ahead of time OR if it clearly stated that on their website or in the email I got about the coupon OR if the lady at the counter told me when I checked in...I would have figured out a way to bring it. When I was leaving I told the lady at the desk that I was not able to use the coupon on my phone and she told me that she didnt know that as they were able to do it before. REALLY!? I was most upset on how rude the assistant was to me. Im not taking my cat back there.

We had been taking all of our pets to Robinson Animal Hospital for several years. However, these last few visits have been quite annoying, and yesterday we left without our dog being seen, after waiting nearly 1 hr. The front desk staff are not friendly at all, unlike the previous group who greeted you with a smile. The scheduling is just ridiculous. They do not allow enough time for appointments, so that a long backup and wait time is almost guaranteed. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare. It doesnt have enough spaces, especially considering how backed up the appointments get. The Hospital is located right on busy Rte. 60, so there is no other place to park. The Vets are very nice, once you get to see them. But, its just not worth the aggravation. We will be taking our pets to another facility. I should also mention that this last appointment was for 10:20 am., so even the morning appointments get backed up.

I have been reading the reviews and I kinda feel bad that Heather is getting a bad wrap. I know that she is not all warm and fuzzy all the time, but if you have ever stepped back and watched her work, she is one busy lady. The phone rings off the wall and every person who walks through the door feels that their pet is the most important, often over sharing information instead of getting to the point. I think many confuse intense focus for rudeness because she has to keep track of everything she is doing, checking people out, customers on hold, checking people in, handing out prescriptions all the while dealing with clients who need coddled. I respect Heather and have never gotten anything but "to the point" assistance from her. Instead of taking offense, maybe you should compliment her on her ability to function in what I see as total chaos! I couldnt do her job.
