I think Dr. Wagner is a great vet. She knows what she is doing and is compassionate. I do not go to her anymore because it is 45 minutes from my house and I just dont have the time to drive that far but I would recommend her to anybody in the area. I first went to her 5 years ago. I bought my first Cane Corso named Ice. She was the only vet in the area who even knew what the breed was. Ice was abused before I bought him and he is not trusting of most people. Dr. Wagner is 1 of the few people he trusts. When I had my first litter of puppies I was having problems. I had about 5 or 6 emergency visits in the matter of 3 weeks. Every time I would call she would say ok bring them in. She did not get annoyed with me and was never rude. I had the puppies in 1 day for over 4 hours and she had several people helping. Our bill was $120. She does not price gouge like some vets. When my dog Lira was hit by a car I brought her in and Dr. Wagner xrayed her whole body. She did everything to make sure nothing was wrong with her. The dog was hit by a car and walked home. No hairline fractures or anything. I would recommend Dr. Wagner to everybody. She is a caring vet with a great staff. The only reason I stopped going was because of it being to far away.

Great place! Dr. Wagner is compassionate and caring and will always go above and beyond for everyone. I have always taken my animals to her and will continue to do so. I have four large breed dogs and they all simply adore her and we feel the same way about her! It is unfair to make such a statement about Dr. Wagner like the one person did in this review. A doctor has a full schedule and cannot be expected to push their clients aside for someone who calls out of the blue when there is a perfectly excellent emergency hospital located in Plains, PA that can take you as you walk in the door for emergencies. Furthermore, if she was not there at the time and out of the office how can you find fault with her for that reason. Its ridiculous! Dr. Wagner, just keep on doing what you do for everyone! You are a superstar!!

Unfortunately, I have to give this place 1 star in order to write this review, but it certainly does not even deserve half of a star. On 5/9/16, I had to bring my dog in for a follow-up after having taken him to an animal hospital for a spinal cord injury. The dog walked into the vets office slowly but still on his own without assistance. The vet took him into the back room to clean his ears, and, on the way back, I could hear my dog slipping and sliding all over the floor. 4 days later, my dog is still unable to walk without some form of assistance. I wouldnt even take my pet rock to these butchers.

We took all 6 of our animals there, and while the other vets seemed unfeeling and rude, Dr Wagner was really great. About a week ago, we had an emergency and she would not take our animal. He ended up being put down later that day. I understand that she has a large client base, but the receptionist would not even let me speak to her, this is at 8am. We have been taking our animals there since she opened her practice. Very disappointed.

When we took our British Blue Cat there for her first visit the female vet told my wife she paid too much for a cat. (British Blues typically sell for $1,200 from a good breeder.) Well thanks a lot for the financial advice that was not requested, none of your damn business how much we paid, and didnt need your after comment either. That was the first and last visit.

I have been taking my dog and cat to Dr. Wagner for the past 5 years and they do a GREAT JOB! The staff is very courteous and helpful. The office is always clean and attractive-Ive never waited longer than 15 minutes. My dog recently passed away and the staff was very sympathetic.

I have 2 rescue dogs that are lab mixes. They have been going to Dr. Wagner for almost 9 years now. The staff is extremely friendly and my dogs love to go there. They have received excellent care and I am so glad we found this Dr.

SMVH is such a convenience to those living in Mountaintop. Ive been to other vets in the area & have NOT been that impressed. This staff is friendly and Dr. Wagner is very knowledgeable. I appreciate ALL they do for our 4 pets!
