I cant say enough about this clinic. I will be the first to admit that I am a crazy dog mom- and working in the animal industry I am very picky. Ive been to several of the other vets in town and have never been as impressed with any of them the way I was with Phoenixville Animal Hospital- I recommend this clinic to anyone that will listen. I have 3 dogs, one is shy- one is a maniac, and one can be straight up nasty (napoleon syndrome!) and Dr Gallagher has worked so well with each of their very different personalities. My littlest guy is special needs and Dr. G does a great job of not only explaining what she is doing- but also- more importantly-WHY. The clinic itself is CLEAN, and odorless and welcoming. The most impressive thing about Phoenixville Animal Hospital is the follow up and after appointment attention to detail. On several occasions I have had the doctors themselves call me a day or two after our appointment to follow up and make sure my little buddy was doing well. I cant stress enough how great that makes me feel knowing that they truly care about each animal that walks through the door.

I love Phoenixville Animal Hospital! My cat Jack has always been skiddish and very shy but I assumed it was because I adopted him as an adult and for his whole life he was in foster care with many other cats. It wasnt until I took him to Phoenixville Animal Hospital where I realized he had severe periodontal disease (gum disease) and the best option would be to have his entire mouth extracted. Dr. Galligher was extremely helpful and caring as she laid out my options. Putting all of my trust in her, she referred me to an oral surgeon for cats. As scary as it was, between the medical risk and actual cost of the surgery, I can easily say it was by far the best decision I have made. If it wasnt for Dr. Galligher and her amazing team at Phoenixville Animal Hospital, I dont know how Jack would be today. He is outgoing, playful, loving and has gained three pounds in just under 2 years! I no longer live in the Phoenixville area yet I still travel the 25+ minutes for their care. I recommend anyone to this facility! -Molly Stewart

I brought in my cat with a urinary tract infection. Apparently, cats get UTIs when they are stressed. Dr Galligher made me feel like i was in the defendants box in an animal cruelty case. She told me it was my fault the cat was sick because i "chose" to stress this cat by bringing her into a house with another cat. She also told me that I would be making the cat sick again if I didnt use her VERY expensive food for the rest of the cats life instead of helping me find a way to reduce the stress. She practically wouldnt take "no" for an answer about the food until I just turned around and left. I was upset enough over my sick baby without being verbally abused and blamed. I came home and cried every night until I found another vet who was sympathetic to my cat AND me, and is helping me solve the problem instead of blaming me.

This place used to be somewhat decent UNTIL Dr. Gallagher took over. She is the most unprofessional vet I have ever met in my life, and I have had animals for a very long time. She is rude not only to clients who spend ridiculous amounts of money there, but I have also witnessed her being rude to the staff. There arent many faces that I recognize anymore. She did away with most of the "old staff" and replaced them with new ones. Needless to say, you couldnt pay me to go back to that place. I have switched vets and although the one I use is a little farther, it was worth it. I will NOT be recommending this vet facility to anyone. Dr. Wolstenholme made a huge mistake by selling his practice to such incompetence!

Dr. Galligher, I wanted to simply say thank you for taking the time to listen to me in my time of need! I was getting nowhere with my previous veterinarian. After 2-years of anguish trying to figure out what was going on with Lucy, after starting the medicine and therapy you suggested, I am seeing a tremendous improvement in her quality of life. She is now so happy and eating much better. If she could thank you herself, I know she would. Well look forward to seeing you again! Best of luck with the hospital. I only wish I had found you earlier! Ben

My family has been going to this vet for well over 15 years. We have never had any issues with the staff or doctors. Now my boyfriend and I take our dogs there. I really like Dr. Gallagher. Unfortunately our briard passed last November from carcinoma cancer and Dr. Gallagher was extremely helpful in the process of figuring out what was causing his sickness. They even sent a condolence card after Luke had passed. We will continue taking our pets there for the duration of our stay in Phoenixville.

Drs. Saunders and Gallagher at Phoenixville Veterinary Hospital could not have been more caring and supportive when our dogs DeeDee and Angel became ill and eventually had to be put to sleep. The staff there goes out of their way to support you, answer any questions you have and really get to know your pet. We are indebted to Phoenixville Veterinary Hospital for their professionalism, compassion and caring. We highly recommend them to give your pet the best care there is.

Last fall my cat became gravely ill with a very difficult UTI. I had just recently moved to the area and this was my first time at a new vet. Dr. Wolstenholme and his staff at the Phoenixville Animal Hospital provided constant and professional care, while keeping me updated to the situation on an extremely regular basis. They REALLY care about getting your animal back to 100%. Needless to say my cat is back to his old self thanks to Dr. Wolstenholme and his staff.

We started using Phoenixville Animal Hospital in 1999, when it was a completely different group of veterinarians. We received great care for our cats over the years, but the changes in the office have been amazing. The new building is gorgeous, and the care has remained top-notch. Dr Galligher is very knowledgeable and caring, and the vet techs are some of the best that we have ever encountered. The front desk staff are always friendly and efficient.

I was thoroughly impressed with the experience that I recently had at Phoenixville Animal Hospital. I am a new client, just moved to the area, and thought it would be difficult to find a vet that I connected with the same way I did with my prior vet. I was pleased to meet Dr. Thomson and Dr. Galligher and they made me feel very comfortable. I am very confident that my dog Max is in good hands! Ron...

The front desk staff is rude and only care about making money as a dog trainer we do not recommend this establishment to any client or consumer. The actual vet also has no clue with poor experience. Go somewhere else as you and your pet deserve the best educated and friendly staff and you will not get that at Phoenixville Animal Hospital 1121 W Bridge St Phoenixville, PA 19460
