Highly Recommend! Ill admit Dr. Chris will not win any “Mr. Congeniality” awards, but he always cares about and shows real interest in our golden retriever which is what it is all about. His service is first rate and his fees are very reasonable. After our golden swallowed a chew toy and had it lodged in his intestine, Dr. Chris made time in his schedule to do the surgery after his normal hours of operation that very evening. His staff is outstanding and very cordial. If you have a problem with his "condescending and sarcastic demeanor" and are looking for a friend, then I suggest you go out and buy yourself a dog.

Dr. Hunziger was extremely kind when he came to our home to euthanize our dog--and we werent even his patients. He made time for us and arrived within a couple hours of our call. He was very gentle with our pup and made a most difficult experience as good as it could be. His manner was kindly, patient, respectful and efficient, which was also helpful for us. Furthermore, in this era when vet costs can seem unnecessarily high, he charged us what we thought was a fair fee for his services.

They do not vaccinate for LEPTO. have been taking my dog here since we got him in 2012. we recently had a scare with him being very sick. we called to see if we could bring him in that day and found out that the doctor was out on vacation and had no one to cover! so instead we took him to old trail and got seen an hour after we called. MAKE SURE YOUR ANIMAL IS GETTING ALL IMPORTANT VACCINATIONS. RIP Curtis <3 Well always love you.

Give me a thousand dollars for surgery or your pet will die? This vet and his staff will try to convince you that your pet will need an unnecessary procedure just for the money. My pet couldnt stand being in the same room with them, I should have read his body language. Try them out for yourself and see if I am correct, just dont be alarmed with a $250+ bill for an annual checkup.

Receptionist was bitchy and had inaccurate information when we tried to make an appt for our dog. She decided to chew out my wife for missing checkups but they didnt have his most recent visit on record (a year ago, for vertigo). Being great with dogs is one thing but the dogs arent going to get there unless theyre driven by people, and they are NOT good with people.

I recommend Dr. Hunsinger and his staff highly. This clinic has treated my dog for 8 years, always with compassion, expertise, and the highest standards. Bailey passed away a few weeks ago. Dr Hunsinger and his staff were extremely kind and understanding at a very difficult time. I will return to the Shrewsbury Veterinary Clinic when I acquire another dog.

I didnt know practices like this still existed. Dr. Chris and his staff provide personalized care, and they really take an interest in the animals unique situation. They may not have the fancy machinery, but you can find that anywhere. Dr. Chris remembered my dog after only one visit, and that is rare these days. Im just glad I found them.

This is a very small practice, only Dr Chris Huntsinger and his staff. We changed from a larger practice that, for us, was overly aggressive with pushing procedures and fees. If you are up-front with Chris about your own philosophy of care for your pets, he will respect your wishes. He has done a great job with our three small dogs.

I really liked Dr. Huntsinger and how he interacted with my chihuahua for 12 years. My only complaint was that when we had to make the decision to put our dog down, there was no sympathy call or card. I just felt that since he was my dogs doctor, that was the least he could do. He is reasonably priced

We have been to Falls Road Vet and some of the higher priced places and didnt find the care we found here. There is no aromatherapy or fancy massages but just good care. He is not very personable but our Rottweiler/Shepherd settles in and really trusts him.

I went to Dr Hunsinger 2 years ago and he was absolutely wonderful with my dog. Thinking about returning here again if I do not have a better experience at the vet clinic recommended by mother with the other vet.

The employees are rude, the vet is almost never in so getting an actual appointment with a vet is hard. The vet himself is very rude and doesnt seem to care about the animals.
