The decor is super cute but it ends there. The treatment is just ok. I have a 4 year old who bumped a tooth on a table. Brought him to my wonderful regular adult dentist who did X-rays and said he had a cavity and suggest I go to a pediatric dentist to take care of it. I decided to go to Docside, because of the good reviews. My first visit I was shocked by their lack of knowledge for handling small children. They originally wanted my four year old to go back to be examined without me. He is 4 and hes never been there before. You are strangers and this is a medical atmosphere. Why would you be expecting a 4 year old to go back without their parent!?!? They also were unable to accomplish anything despite my help and were expecting my anxious four year old to perform tasks that young adults might have a hard time doing. They even told me he had no cavities until I mentioned the one my great dentist had observed. They went "oH yeah!!! He DOES have a cavity!!!" We were able to obtain X-rays for him at my awesome regular dentist with no problem (they let him sit in my lap and put the magnetic bib across both of us) but these people didnt even get close to that. They wouldnt let him sit on my lap and said it was too dangerous to do it the way my great dentist did it. So they have no X-rays now. They now suggest I go to a surgery center to have my child completely put to sleep instead at a surgery center. I agreed and tried setting up what they were asking and they gave me NO information and said "theyd call me" without telling me WHO it even was. No phone number. Nothing. What a waste of time. Now Im just waiting for a phone call from who knows who from what doctor to anesthetize my four year old for one cavity.

They performed a routine procedure on my son but apparently the insurance company denied the claim so I was sent a bill - which they called overdue (it was the first bill). I sent it back to them explaining I had no idea what they were talking about and asked for a complete listing of what the charges were - and received NOTHING back. Yesterday I get a "courtesy call" telling be unless I pay the $500 something bill that day they are sending it to collections. Not the money - I have a fully funded HSA, just the thought that this office could perform a non approved procedure (and I have excellent dental coverage, as does my wife and the kids are DOUBLE COVERED) have the nerve to send the first bill overdue, offer no reason why I was being billed and then threaten to send me to collections. Perhaps a note to the insurance company on the procedures at this lousy office will get their coverage pulled. They blame United Concordia for the issue. Funny, have had them for 6 years, teeth pulled, implants, braces for the kids, all over the state and not one other denied claim. Go somewhere - anywhere else unless you too want to be ripped off by this clip joint

Me and my wife have been noticing our kids have been basically drunk when theyre done with their appointment. And when we had another appointment for our child we walked in and simply asked if we could lessen the medicine so shes not so out of it after one cavity. The lady started getting a louder voice telling me Dr Latore is a doctor and knows what hes doing. I never doubted his credibility just asked if our girl could just get less medicine. Got the same answer. The medicine she has been getting sedates her. Ive never been to a dentist where a child or grown up needs to be sedated to get a small cavity filled. Very frustrated that in a simple question we got yelled at and embarrassed when I just want my child to function after a "routine" appointment. Been going her for almost 3 years and we are upset how the staff treated us. Instead of getting our question answered we just got papers thrown at us saying this is what you signed. Just a simple question... Guess we will go somewhere else where our child will not be completely drunk after a cavity appointment.

Took son to dr latorre b/c it was the only dentist w/i 10 mi. that accepted Medicare. Saw him for 2 yrs, every 6 mos, no cavities. Once we acquired private insur, they said he had 8 cavities! Should mention our Medicare did not cover cavities. To make things worse, I asked EVERY time b4 scheduling the cavity appts, if it would be covered by our insur. Nurse/receptionist left to check, came back & said "yes, theyre covered." Their billing exceeded not only my sons yearly dental insur allowance, but also his LIFETIME allowance. We were left w/ $1,000s out of pocket. Definitely felt swindled. Its 4 yrs later & my son still has not had another cavity. The only thing were doing different is NOT seeing Dr LaTorre

Rude and disrespectful come with the new improvements they made. I been taking my 3 children there for 6 years the moment they changed their location and stuff was the moment they become overwhelming horrible and rude. Lost touch of human kindness and turned into money grabbing company. Its a shame for my children who really did like Dr. LaTorre. Hope he changes his staff and reinforces kindness. No one should have to deal with stress when it comes to their childrens teeth

Rude & nasty receptionist,treats patients like crap .if I can give them less than one star I would. I suggest to go anywhere else & save the frustration & the hassle & the nasty crapy behavior. Take a look at other reviews,that will give you a good idea about that place.

My children absolutely LOVE going to the dentist due to the wonderful staff and kid friendly environment. My kids actually argue over who gets to go!
