Twice in the last two years CCH Emergency staff pinpointed my illness. I had started to feel badly two years ago and couldnt get a diagnosis from my PCP. An emergency trip in 2/2016 revealed that there was something more serious going on with my anemia. Which led to a diagnosis of Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. The ER doc pointed that out. Again in 5/2017 in and emergency room visit the ER doc pointed out that the chemo medication that I was on was making me sick. I didnt mind the wait because I knew that I was in a safe place in case anything went really badly. The ER with all of the testing capability at hand was able twice to get me to a significant diagnosis where I could go back to my PCP and get help.

They were soooooo busy -- half of Chester County seemed to be in the waiting room -- and i was passing a kidney stone -- lots of pain, on all fours retching, AWFUL...but the staff were so kind -- triaged appropriately. They knew i wasnt going to die...i just FELT like i was going to. :) Admission clerk got me ice packs for back, a folded towel for my knees -- and eventually i was seen. Its not a take a number deal when u go to the ER -- critical patients must be seen first -- what LOOKS critical might not be and vice versa. They cant staff 200% all the time just to cover those busy times or we would NeVER b able to pay for health care.

Took my husband to the ER for severe foot pain he could not walk. The PA was rude and uncaring. Did nothing but take an X-ray. Horrible experience wont ever go back. Felt like they only care about money not people

Came in an ambulance but was made to wait in waiting room for 3hrs. Was told i would be made to wait. I had a hole in my stomach and an infection. TERRIBLE TREATMENT!!!!!!

Had to take my Mom here. Got into triage after waiting only a couple minutes. The staff are very friendly and professional.
