Dr Cade and his office staff were so wonderful. They were professional, kind, caring and courteous. I have had many dogs over the years requiring veterinary service wherever we lived at the time. I was very impressed with Midlands and left feeling that my dogs had finally found a wonderful vet practice in the Columbia area. They are conveniently located off a frontage road. The cost of having my dogs seen as first time patients was extremely reasonable. I also felt that Dr. Cade takes a more holistic approach to treating issues such as anxiety and aging. Dr. Cade recommended some herbal supplements for these issues that were far more affordable and safer than the prescriptive medications every other vet I have taken my dogs to had prescribed. I was really impressed with his knowledge of natural alternatives to prescription medications. I left the office feeling secure in the knowledge that my pups were in great hands. Dr. Cades office staff could not have been kinder or more compassionate toward my pets and my 82 year old mom who went with me. I would highly recommend Midlands veterinary practice to anyone looking for a vet practice in the Columbia SC area.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Ive had pets all my life and this is by far, the best experience Ive ever had with a veterinary practice. I have a cat that was diagnosed with a pretty serious issue recently. Dr. Robinson and the staff are extremely compassionate and personable. Dr. Robinson also gave me all the latest research and information and helped me make informed decisions. Ive never had a vet that was so up-to-date on the latest research and shared that information in partnership with me. They are also extremely reasonable on their costs and got me in quickly, even though I was a new patient. I just wish I would have found them when I moved here 3 years ago! Update-December 2016: Midlands continues to be just as wonderful as the time I wrote the above review. My cats caught an upper respiratory virus recently and Dr. Robinson, Dr. Cabe, and the staff have been wonderful. They got my elderly cat in the same day I called and have been available for questions via phone. Still the best vet Ive ever had!!!

My wife and I have been using Midlands Vet for about nine years now. They have always been clean, friendly, professional, and very caring towards our dogs. We have always had bigger breeds, Rottweiler, but they have never shied away from our dogs, or insisted on using a muzzle. Some other Vet practices in the area have insisted on muzzles before the dog even comes in the door! Dr. Robinson and Dr. Cabe have always taken the time to fully explain and answer all questions patiently and in a way that you can understand. The staff is great too! always friendly and caring towards the dogs. I feel they charge fair prices for the quality of work performed.

I was in search of a new vet practice for my dog, when a friend recommended Dr. Robinson. The first time we saw him, I was impressed with his bed-side manner and the friendliness of his staff. Even over the telephone, Dr. Robinson explains everything until he knows I understand and hes always there to answer my questions. His staff make me feel very comfortable and welcome, and as if every question I have isnt stupid. I went from a stuffy, very popular vet practice to a down to earth, professional practice that provides excellent care for my dogs. Ive also seen Dr. Cade and hes just as good as Dr. Robinson!

This is such a great vet! Not only are they a knowledgeable and friendly staff, but also, they use their resources to rescue animals from bad situations and put them into new, forever homes. We adopted Frankie (formerly Benji) from MVP the first week of May and he has been an incredible addition to our home. I am so thankful for MVP for nursing him back to health and keeping him safe, warm, and fed until he was ready to come be spoiled in our house. (Frankie is the one with the pointy ears, pictured here laying next to his sister, Ellie.)

This place is amazing, I would recommend it to anyone with pets. Ive taken both my dog and cat on multiple occasions and every time I walk away impressed. Dr Cabe is more than willing to try the herbal/supplemental route if he thinks the situation is appropriate, so I have saved a bunch of money being able to price shop online for the products he has has good success with in the past. Prices arent bad for the quality of service given and I dont ever feel like theyve added on items to the bill just for more money.

Dr Cabe has been one of the most helpful, concerned, and amicable vets Ive known. Most of the time, when you call a vet with a question, you either get told by the receptionist to "bring your pet in" or deferred to someone who really doesnt have an answer to the question. Dr Cabe was always willing to speak directly to me--sometimes two or three times a day! His patience is incredible, and my husband and I are very pleased with his charity and hospitality. If you are looking for a veterinary practice that cares as much about your pet as you do, this is where you want to bring your pet. All of their staff is very friendly and very caring of your pet. Both Dr. Cabe and Dr. Robinson treat your pets as if they are their own. They are there when you need them. My pet is my family and I want him to be cared for by those doctors who treat him like family. I cant say enough good things about these very wonderful highly qualified veterinarians,

Our addition came to us with a few medical issues and Dr. Robinson, Dr.Cabe and staff helped us to navigate those issues while providing a wealth of knowledge, treatment options, compassion and attentiveness to our pets needs. Been with Dr. Cabe for over 15 yrs. When we first chose him as our vet we lived really close to his first location. Weve moved and its a much further drive but passing other vet practices on the way to see Dr Cabe doesnt bother us one bit. He is a very calm vet and its obvious practicing animal medicine is not his job......its his passion. Days after every visit his staff and sometimes himself call to check on our pets and that is top notch.Hes awesome!
