I scheduled an appointment with the dental office to have my sons tooth extracted that had been causing him pain. First let me state that on his last cleaning we were told the tooth was dead (obviously it was not) so I figured we had some time to decide what we wanted to do. I knew from experience root canal and crowns do not last and that was not a long term option for my 17 year old son. I explained to the new dentist in the office I wanted it pulled now and would decide at a later date if an implant is necessary. I knew from experience his wisdom tooth could come in and take up space and was not about to spend money on top of money if it could be avoided. She was insisting he needed antibiotic and needed to see an oral surgeon before it was pulled. I said no because it was not something that would be done right away and pointless. She came back and next said to me well there isnt enough tooth there for them to grab onto and pull out he would require oral surgery. At that point I knew they were lying and just trying to push us to a more expensive service, because I saw the tooth myself. Needless to say I walked out of there and went to Dental Works where they performed a simple extraction and did not require an oral surgeon. Dentist agreed his wisdom tooth is about to come in and would push forward taking up space. She explained it will not fill it completely and may want to consider braces later to fill the gap which will be much better and cost effective option for my 17 year old son then a crown that will fail in 10 years. A few things that bothered me about their practice is the dentist also said when discussing a possible bridge at a later date that they would ruin 2 good teeth. Well when they did the X-ray at Dental works it shows a small cavity starting on the tooth in front of the one pulled, and decay under the filling done by Dr. Moore on the tooth behind it that needs repair again. This brought me to remember when I had my teeth cleaned at Dr. Moores office and they said I would need a very expensive deep cleaning procedure which I did not agree with and passed on. At my last cleaning the girl had no problem cleaning them as normal and said no I did not need the deep cleaning and was able to get it all. This obviously is a pattern of up charging patients with extra services or referrals to an oral surgeon. This kind of practice does cost the insurance company more money and ultimately the consumers more.

Dear Dr. Moore & Staff, Id like to commend you on the services that you offered to me. Thanks for the patience and good skills that you portrayed. You are the first doctor that Ive gone to that I was satisfied with communication (both medical and dental). You speak very clear and explain procedures to me in a way that I can understand. I am so appreciative for the great service. I wish to express my sincerest thanks and appreciation for the superb level of service and treatment provided from your receptionist Martha and the other lady at the front (sorry I didnt catch her name, but she was so sweet, too) on Wednesday July 29, 2015.. ALL the staff at your office was very courteous, for which I am very grateful. I am someone who is extremely nervous when it comes to dentists, but the level of care and comfort provided by all the persons in your office was an unexpected surprise, based on my past dealings with people in your line of work. Also, the level of service provided by your office, and the great lengths to which both you and the supporting staff went to in order to ensure my comfort were truly extraordinary. I will certainly be referring any friends or family members of mine who are looking for a new dentist to your office. (My mom even came and got an extraction the very next morning cause I bragged on your office so much, lol). Dr. Moore, you made it a pleasant visit. Im looking forward to getting my teeth back in shape and to being one of your clients for life! You gave me HOPE to get my smile back. You have my sincerest gratitude and appreciation! THANK YOU!!! In Christ Love, April Renee Burris Moseley P.S. See you Monday August 17 Bright & early

One of my teeth cracked and left a hole, so I reached out to the office. I made sure to let the receptionist know the severity of my tooth. I was advised that the next available appointment was two weeks out. Just to levitate the uncomfortable feeling when air went in the hole, I bought an over the counter tooth cement and filled the tooth. The day of my appointment I arrived thirty minutes early at 4:30pm and sat in the waiting room until after 5:15pm. Needless to say when I got into the back, x-rays were taken. As I waited to see Dr. Moore, I was advised that she will let me know what needed to be done. During that time I asked twice if I was going to get a filling today. I was told hold tight until Dr. Moore speaks to me. Finally, the Dr. and I went over what needed to be done and she left the room. The dental assistant came back with a printout advising the cost of everything and this was close to 6pm (one and a half hour since I arrived). I politely asked, so am I not getting a filling today? And I was told we only have 30 minutes and the numbing takes some time. So I left with nothing done, but the x-rays and my insurance paid out for the visit. I am so disappointed I am now looking for a new dentist. Still walking around with my damage tooth.

My husband and I are two of Dr.Moores first patients about six years and we enjoyed her and her staff over the years but because of one of her secretarys she has now and the conversation I had with her yesterday we are no longer going to this office. From the minute I went in til the time I left trying to get things straight and an appt for my husband she was rude, sarcastic and snappy with me. Not sure how long shes worked there or where she came from but she is the worst person I have had to deal with in a long time. She is lucky I bite my tongue and didnt tell her where she can go as she does not belong around the public or people in general.. I just think its too bad that person is doing damage to Dr. Moores business as we left and how many have or will leave because of her? I wouldnt want to be her coworker either...Beware !! I would give it a 5 star but because of this secretary I can not...

It was my familys first visit to this practice. I scheduled the appointments for all 4 of us (my husband, myself, my one year old and three year old). I was told they would take one adult and one child back and then wed switch. That didnt happen. They wanted to take my husband back alone until I brought it to their attention. After that it seemed like nothing was organized. I wanted to go somewhere where the dentists and staff see children and that was not the impression we got. While getting my teeth cleaned I was given a keyboard and asked to help chart my own teeth while the hygienist was probing my gums and calling out what numbers to type. I couldnt even see what numbers I was typing! Very unprofessional in my opinion. I was told they would give me prices for a mouth guard and that never happened. Overall I felt like this was not the experience I was wanting from a family dentist.
