I had a really bad experience with this clinic.. I was lied to by the staff, and Dr. Rheil is just in it for the money... I wouldnt recommend this place for a rat....very expensive, and did nothing for my fur baby that I loved dearly... and when I took her to get groomed she would shake all over .. she didnt want to stay... they were never all that friendly with me or my fur baby... i think they are cold people that work up there that acts like they dont like animals , its just a job to them...I went here for many yrs and to be treated like I was it was un called for .. he charged me an arm and a leg and 2 weeks later when I came up there with the same problem with my furbaby wanted to charge me another arm an leg... nope I dont think so! Dr. Rheil was even cold and said well she can just die then... pissed me off! what kind of vet says that to a paying customer/patient?! very unsatisfied with this vet...

After having had vets all over the nation and one in Canada. I find Dr. Riehl highly competent and compassionate with the two pets I have had under his care. When Lolo died, he provided her burial for free through his pet foundation. With my current kitty (a rescue alley-feisty calico), he gave her a very thorough exam because I knew nothing about her. He and his team advised me on how to tame her. The whole staff is friendly and eager to help whenever I drop by to pick up flea meds. The clinic also took great care of my kitty in the kennel when I couldnt take her with me on a trip. I can easilyrecommend Animal Medical Clinic for all pet needs. In every way, it fulfills the title- Best in Bristol.

About a month ago, I had to take my poor dog Mikey to the Animal Medical Clinic to be euthanized. He was old, had gotten too feeble to walk, and had stopped eating. I knew it was time for my friend to rest. I was amazed at how helpful and compassionate the vet and staff at the Clinic were. The staff gave me hugs to help me in my grief, and the vet also consoled me. They prepared the body of my friend in a bag inside a box, for me to take home and bury on my property. Im really grateful to the staff and the vet for making the procedure as comfortable as possible for my dog and for me.

Dr Rhiel and his staff are the most caring people I have ever encountered My babies and I have been in their care for over 14 years during which time I have experienced compassion through losing my pets and rescuing stray cats and dogs I also travelled out of the country to Europe with my three dogs and together we got through the paperwork and shots etc. I could go on and on singing there praises but rest assured they really are only a phone call away and will do whatever they can Thank You Dr Rhiel, Angela and girls for everything ❤❤

I always feel like Mo is getting the best treatment both medically and grooming. You can tell your pet is being treated with the utmost care by the way they get so excited when they realize where theyre going. I got Mo when he was 8 weeks old and he is now 6 years old and is the most socialized and well behaved dog I could have ever hoped to get. And Im sure it is in no small way due to the excellent care and handling he receives at the Clinic. Great job folks and thanks. Jim

The clinic is set up so you are not waiting in a little room secluded from everything else. The exam rooms have windows to the other rooms and to the lobby and are nice and large, so the wait is very comfortable. Dr. Reihl spent plenty of time with my dog and looked her over very thoroughly. He seemed very knowledgeable about dogs. The support staff also seemed very knowledgeable and was very friendly and helpful. And they made us feel special about being a new patient.

Just moved to Bristol. Called several local vets. Other vets either didnt answer the phone, said they could see us next Thursday, (this was an emergency) or said we could drop him off and they would cage him till the vet could look at him sometime that day. I was not going to leave my baby with someone I didnt know. Called Animal Medical Clinic and they took us right in. They were friendly,courteous, and awesome! we found our new Vet that day!!

We are so thankful for Dr. Riehl and the staff at Animal Medical Clinic. Both of our bassett hounds are rescues with very unique personalities, but they are treated like queens by the staff. From yearly shots to monthly baths & nail trims and even "vacation" stays when we travel, we couldnt imagine a better facility to take care of our girls. If your looking for warm, welcoming expertise in pet care, Animal Medical Clinic is the place to be.

My pets are important to me. I have taken my pets for several years to Dr Riehl. I have always felt everyone there cared for my pets. Several years ago my elderly dog had cancer tumors. Dr Riehl helped her to feel better and helped me monitor her so she had a good quality of life her last few months. He was very kind and the vet nurses and staff were helpful. I trust them with the care of my pets.

Animal Medical Clinic is "Best In Bristol" for a reason. I have been taking my furbabies to them and have recommended them to friends and family for many years. My dog absolutely loves going there even if it is for his shots. All I have to ask is "do you want to go see the girls?" and he is ready. They are friendly and caring as well as competent. Our family have used Animal Medical Clinic for over 30 years now. Dr. Rhiel is now treating our grandchildrens animals. If you are looking for a doctor that loves your pets like you do and a staff that is always there for you at a minutes notice, then you need to try Animal Medical Clinic. I would never think of taking any animal of ours to another doctor.

Dr. Mark Riehl has been practicing vet medicine for decades and has a lot of experience to draw from to treat our animals. We use his office exclusively and I recommend my friends and family to do the same. Your pet is in good hands here and will be a happier and healthier pet!

Appointments are made quickly and easily, and they will see your pet ASAP if needed. All staff are calm, quiet and very personable. The animals seem to love them. They ask multiple questions about your pet in order to know them well and in our case, theyre recommended treatment for the problems are very effective. They are our veterinarian of choice!
