Took my mom here to get a simple cyst checked out and possibly removed. Wed been told this was the place to have that taken care of since her friends had had some cysts removed here before. Waited in the waiting room about 30-40 minutes. The nurses attitude wasnt the greatest(I was in shock when she actually cracked a smile at me). The doctor came in and asked a couple questions, literally 2-3, and one included if the cyst caused my mom any pain. She said "yes that it was constantly and gave her pretty bad headaches. The doctor basically said "sorry, we cant fix that here, youll need to see a plastic surgeon." Then had the audacity to say "or since your hair covers it up, you can just leave it" My mother was in pain. We arent going to just let her continue to suffer. I also should have timed our time with the doctor because I guarantee it was less than 3 minutes. There was no help whatsoever. We couldve gone to the family doctor and either got the same information or gotten it taken care of and would have saved a ton of money. We do not recommend this place. This place is a joke. We will NOT be returning.

My family of 4 has been a customer of Rivergate Dermatology for many years, and my wife scheduled a appointment for our teenage son over 3 weeks ago and when they arrived today for the appointment they were told that they do not accept our Humana Insurance. No problem, we asked what the cost would be for the visit as we would pay cash. We were told by the clerk THEY DONT ACCEPT CASH OR SELF PAY!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. That was a wasted 3 weeks and they lost a family customer because they DONT ACCEPT SELF PAYING CUSTOMERS. SOUNDS FISHY TO ME. Maybe they are overcharging insurance companies. I dont know. Thank you Dr Raymond Wesley Dermotology in Hendersonville for taking my cash and helping my son. BUYER BEWARE.

My son was covered under TN Covers Kids insurance program and was being treated here for severe acne with Aquitaine, which has potential side effects. We were told that he would need to be on it 9+ months. About 5 months into his treatment (and seeing improvements) some regime change happened there, and all of a sudden they no longer accepted his insurance and he was dropped with no warning! Although she later apologized, the lady from the office was extremely rude and hateful to my wife on the phone. After searching for another doctor, it took months to finally get an appointment and he will now have to introduce the drug into his system again, and be on it for longer because of their actions. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

The exam was a joke. I was waiting for Guiness to come out and award the world record for fastest exam. I was rushed, constantly interrupted, flustered. 2 nurses in exam rm who seemed to be training on how fast to turn patients. My aftercare instructions were given on 3 post-it notes. Professional it was not. Only good thing was I didnt have to wait long. But I suppose if the exam lasts 3-5 minutes you shouldnt have to wait in lobby very long. Overall rating: terrible, unprofessional, come to think of it they didnt even tell me what was wrong with my heels so add no diagnosis to the list. I guess they were in too big of a hurry to tell me what was wrong w/ me. Dont go here. Find another clinic.

I went to their office in Springfield. I could hear the nurses behind the door making very ugly remarks about a patient who arrived 10 minutes late. They then proceed to tell me , a nurse from the back they dont take my insurance. They did a year ago when i went before. The young lady at the desk was doing the dirty work for the nurses behind the scene. I felt sorry for her. The nurses are rude, unprofessional, and the treatment from them was enough i was glad to leave. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. I would not take my dog there and be treated they way they are operating that office.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr Lovens for about 2 years. He is great. Weve been fighting acne and have decided to go on accutane. Because of the side effects there are some hoops to jump through. Peggy in the Rivergate office has been extremely helpful in working with the insurance and other hoops required. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is occasionally weve had to wait for up to an hour after our appointment.

I had squamous cell cancer on my lip. The doctor used MOHS surgery. He saved me from disfiguration and the cancer has NOT returned. I cant give this office and their staff a high enough rating to describe the care and results I received. I would send my family or best friend to them.

These guys work FAST! They have a lot of patients but were able to work me in immediately when I was in pain. They dont dilly dally and get you straight in for treatment. I dont usually post reviews but Im so relieved after being here I just had to!

Receptionists were helpful and accommodating to my schedule, the required paperwork was straight forward and minimal, I was seen on time, the nurse was friendly and competent as well as Dr Claude. It was a great experience overall.
