Dr. Mitchell is the best dermatologist I have ever been to. He was able to diagnose my eczema as being a more extreme case when others were not. I like him because he will not give you strong dose of steroids unless he believes you absolutely need them (in most cases you dont). He will work with you and really cares about your well-being. He will listen to all of your concerns is very courteous. The nurses and receptionist are great as well. They are quick and friendly and very informative. I was able to get to my appointment, be seen and be back to work in under an hour! And that was with a 30 minute drive round trip! I will definitely only see Dr. Mitchell from now on and will recommend him to all of my friends and family.

Since when is a pleasant, almost fun, experience to visit the Doctor? It must be something about dermatology. I had about forgotten how much fun it was when Dr Salyer was practicing down on Hayes street (for you other old folks). Since I discovered the office of Dr. Austin Mitchell in Brentwood, I have relived those pleasant memories. In 2014 Dr Mitchell has dealt with my annual exam from having spent too many hours on Center Hill Lake over a lifetime as well as an odd rash on my foot. Same happy spirit and office atmosphere to accompany a careful and un-rushed examination. Oddly enough, I actually look forward to the annual visit next year. Thats after I get another few burns in Florida over the winter. :) David

Dr. Austin Mitchell and his staff are simultaneously professional and warm. Dr. Mitchell listened to my concerns about my skin and offered good options for me to choose from. He also helped me understand the different medicines and what would be best for my skin. In addition to helping me he answered questions I had concerning my husbands skin issues. The biggest plus is that their office is easy to find, close to the highway and close to TARGET if you need to pick up a few things before or after your appointment. I definitely recommend Brentwood Skin Clinic to anyone looking for a skilled dermatologist with patience and focused attention on your issues.

I have multiple children and going to the doctor can be VERY time consuming, not to mention exhausting! I took my 10 year old daughter in to see Austin because she had multiple warts to be frozen off. The process of getting rid of warts can be grueling. IT was the most positive experience EVER. Austin explained what he would do to get rid of them, did the treatment, and we were off! Austins bed side manner was off the charts. My daughter cant wait to go back for the second treatment, just to see him! Who knew that going to the dermatologist could be SO good? i would recommend Brentwood Skin Clinic to EVERYONE!

My experience with Dr. Mitchell at Brentwood Skin Clinic was fantastic. Making an appointment was seamless and they were able to get me scheduled quickly. The front desk staff was very helpful and kind. I arrived at my appointment time and was back with the doctor within minutes. Dr. Mitchell is thorough, knowledgeable, and very detailed. He is also very personable and seemed to genuinely care about me personally, my medical needs, and those of the other patients I saw him interact with that morning. I would recommend this practice to anyone. You wont be disappointed with the care that you receive!

Dr. Mitchell is, by far, the best dermatologist I’ve ever been to. He is always friendly, professional and thorough during his appointments. He really listens to your concerns and takes the time to explain all of the treatment options. Dr. Mitchell will definitely go the extra mile for his patients too. He went out of his way to make sure I received a coupon after office hours and even personally called me on a holiday to make sure I could get my prescription on time. Excellent experience with Dr. Mitchell and his staff. I am a new patient and from the very first phone call with the receptionist to Dr. Mitchells exam the experience was great. Friendly staff, helpful, thorough, direct, high energy, and welcoming. They were able to work me in within 3 hours of my initial call even though I was a new patient. Once I arrived they got me in to see the doctor within 10 minutes. The total visit from entry to exit was less than 30 minutes - which was perfect for me!

We had a great experience at Brentwood Skin Clinic. The location of the office is great- easy to get to and easy for parking. The staff at the office are helpful and very friendly. My daughter loved Dr. Mitchell. He is professional, but also personal and easy- going, which made my 12 year old feel totally at ease. He also fixed her skin issues within a week! 2.5 weeks ago, I had an appointment to treat my seasonal ezcema. Dr. Austin Mitchell was amazing! I felt like I was chatting more with a friend than a doctor. Needless to say, the medicine he prescribed worked immediately with me seeing results in a couple of days. 2.5 weeks later, my ezcema has cleared up. The staff is top notch and I now have a dermatologist who I will recommend and definitely use again. Thank you so much for the great experience from the Brentwood Skin Clinic

Far and away Dr. Mitchell is the best! He takes time with you, doesnt rush through the appointment, and that is a breath of fresh air in the medical community!! He knows his stuff, and seems to actually CARE about each patient, he explains everything step by step.. I love that. The office is great and easy to find, the staff is warm and friendly…honestly it feels more like a spa than a skin clinic! I would and do recommend Dr. Mitchell to anyone I know.

Great experience! I was able to be seen very quickly and the doctor was very informative and thorough. He doesnt seem like the kind of guy to waste time but also isnt pushy. He answered all of my questions and was able to get my skin condition remedied by the next day. Our experience with Dr. Mitchell was a pleasant one. Our daughter had a plantar wart on the bottom of her foot. As a parent, I found our visits very informative. Most importantly, our daughter was allowed to choose between two courses of treatment and her anxiety was alleviated as a result. Some doctors would have ignored her feelings, but Dr. Mitchell informed her and encouraged her to make the decision.
