Our dog Maxine has been a patient of Dr. Heads since I moved to the Nashville area in 2006. She is an older dog (15) with some minor health issues. I am in the exam room at every visit and have NEVER seen him treat her with anything but the same loving care that you would give a child. We feel that the only reason she is still with us is because she is treated so well. I have recommended Dr. Head to anyone who asks where to find a good veterinarian and will continue to do so. We even adopted a cat from the office. Please trust them with your pet.....you will be glad that you did.

My family has been going to Dr. Head for as long as I can remember. At least 30 years and maybe longer. He has always treated every animal with the utmost love and respect. I have never seen him or any of his staff mistreat anyone, animal or animal parent. He is always sensitive to financial constraints that the pet owner may be limited by and tries to find the best solution for the pet and the parent. I cant imagine trusting a pet to any other vet.

I brought my cat in a few years ago. She was not the most cooperative, but the way the Dr handle situation was EXTREMELY poor. He began hitting her with a towel while I was in the room and told me there was nothing he could do. It was so unprofessional. I now currently work at a vet clinic and have had clients come to us because this same Dr was slamming their already injured dog on the table. I am shocked this clinic has not been shut down....

Dr. Head is the most practical, knowledgable, and affordable vet weve found in Nashville. Weve taken our cat to him for dental work and checkups and always feel he is fair, sympathetic, and kind. He is not looking to price gouge anyone and genuinely cares about the animals. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for a vet!

Weve been coming to Dr. Head for almost 15 years. He is always super nice and wonderful with Maggie. He has seen her through two surgeries with incredible results. As she has aged she has developed a heart and thyroid condition that doc has treated with amazing results as well. Wouldnt go anywhere else for treatment.

Took my cat to get spayed. Head said "you mean neuter!?" Its a female cat... Found out 6months later, the cat was never spayed. He fixed us up with all the boosters, immunizations and outrageously high bio disposal. Last booster shot got infected... Doc Head is a smart-ass. Staff super nice...

Weve been taking our dogs here for almost ten years now! Weve loved the knowledgeable and personable staff, as well as Dr. Head. Hes seen our pups through surgeries, treatment in improper growth in joints, and even death.
