I understand some people dislike the wait. Sometimes we have to think what they do for us and not worry the simplist things. I use to hate waiting and not be called right away. Then i listen to all the staff is working while i was waiting with my children. This is one office, one receptionist, and 3 Doctors. The receptionist doing their work to greet, check in, confirm patients, correct updated information (that some us as I do forget to change numbers), and most important you have the right appointment for your visit. Other staff helping answering calls, scheduling, verifying insurance to be accurate for your appointment, confirming future appointments, receiving request records and transferring calls to the right department. WE cant be spoiled all the time, we have agree to policy of their office to make things easier, such as keeping our appointments, and if not able to make it to your appt. One call to cancel appt helps before it turns to a no show, that is something I never read and I signed an agreement of the registration. Thanks to one time courtesy I was able to continue seeing these great Doctors. I even realize someone could of brought their child in and made this office loose a spot for another sick child in need. Back off is hard working, they have time to make sure forms, and all concerns is to be answer before you leave. I am not rushed or ignored with one sentence and walk away. I thank you and appreciate everyone recieving my children with care, being patience to us parents when we panic, rushing, and when we dont understand the medical life. We know you all doing the best. And we parents just want our children be healthy and not in pain. WE know not everyone is perfect but we can help by speaking out to continue getting better service from Kids DOC. Family and friends been coming to Dr moayyad for years!! Thats amazing for City of Arlington. Thank you

I have been bringing my oldest child to Kids Doc for over 5 years and I have experienced long waits, as has been mentioned before from others parents, but unlike most I dont necessarily mind. I feel that the doctors are doing their best to answer all questions and concerns us partents have especially when we have a hundred unrelated question to the appointment we had. I have a newborn and it feels like I started all over again. I had/have so many questions that I want to be informed that Im doing great and baby is well. I do feel however, that there are some things that management can improve to help the animosity between parents and office staff such going to the actual lobby and to informas us that the doctors are behind but that they are doing they will be with you as soon as possible. Because by the time we go and ask the receptionist we are already frustrated. Although I have been told when the doctor is behind from the receptionist, its only courteous to remind the parents again especially if its been more then an 45min from check in. I havent experienced the rudeness thats has been mentioned from the front staff yet. Although I have seen PARENTS out of line. In the 5 years Ive been going I have seen parents, curse, throw papers at the receptionist, call the staff and doctors uncalled for names, parents upset because the receptionist is in forcing the "POLICY" we signed. The Doctors are amazing and I love them all. Dr. Edward Moayyad is the patient and knowledgeable, Dr. Maria Fisher is loving and caring, and Dr. Shah is understanding and compassionate. I think everyone is doing and amazing job keep up the hard work everyone.

UPDATE: Id call in and ask general questions about my daughters behavior or health wondering if this was like other kids her age and all Id get was "you need to bring her in". It wasnt necessary to do so and Id schedule for a next day appointment anyway because Id get frustrated Id never get any answers. By morning, my daughter would still be fine and Id call at 9AM when their lines opened to cancel. Id get told "no problem!" but reality was they were marking them as no shows. Turns out even if the appointment is scheduled for less than 24 hours later, if you call and cancel its a no show. They have no voicemail system, their answering service is their emergency line but their system states thats emergencies only so not to even call them otherwise. You cant cancel sometimes until after the appointment time has passed and yet "No problem!" or "Okay thats fine" is their answer. They terminated my daughter from their practice on 7/2 and said I had 30 days to find a new PCP. But didnt mail the letter until 7/13, and it wasnt received until 7/16 so no I only had two weeks to find a new PCP. Filed a complaint with the insurance company while changing my daughters PCP. Called Kids Doc and got the complete, rude runaround of "Well yes we didnt explain the less than 24 hour scheduling policy but its your fault for cancelling" and basically saying this is all okay. Lets tell patient parents "No problem!" when its not. Ugh. Useless. At least the PCP we transferred back to doesnt treat kids like numbers in the computer system.

Where do I begin! The office management/setup is horrible! They don’t transfer phones until 9am, and you will frequently get a busy signal. When calling to schedule an appointment, you must remain on the line and listen to 15 options. What happened to “Press 1 if you would like to schedule an appointment”? After their phone systems tells you to hold, an actual person will pick up the line and ask you to hold again. I must spend about 10 minutes on the phone just scheduling an appointment. Plan to spend pretty much two hours or more at their office, the front desk clerk always takes forever to get you checked in. I’ve been told I’m not making payments on my balance, I always make a payment the same day of each month. They always have to check in with the billing clerk to confirm that I have been paying which delays the check in process. The office hours are also very inconvenient, they close at noon once a week, close for lunch for two hours every business day, and I believe they transfer their phones at 4pm. They billed my insurance over $400 just for a sick visit. This is why I currently have a balance with them, for a few sick visits I ended up with a huge balance. If I could upload a picture of my insurance claim statement I would. I am the easiest person to please, I have never given a review on any product or service. I was just so shocked when I received my insurance claim statement that it made me want to share my experience.

I recently moves from overseas and brought my daughter here for her first check up and vaccines. My appointment was at 8:00am and I was literally out the door by 8:48. I had printed out and filled out all required documents prior to my appointment. The nurse Anne I believe was very sweet and patient. Dr. Maria Fisher was awesome. She answered all my questions. Had a sense of humor and didnt rush me out the door. I had no issues with the front desk. I would of given it five stars but I didnt because of two things. 1. I had to ask if that was it for my appointment. I feel the nurse at the end shouldnt leave the room and let you figure it out. They should walk all patients back to the front. Its polite and professional and greatly appreciated when your hands are full. 2. I didnt like that my little one had to be in just diapers as we waited for the Dr. She was shivering. They should allow the baby to keep the clothes on until the Dr walks in. I asked the nurse but she said no. Other than that no issues and would recommend.
