I had an appointment this morning as a new patient. I got there on time and the clerk asked to copy my insurance card and Drivers License. I will let them copy my insurance card, but I dont let any Drs. office copy my drivers license. With all of the identity theft out there it is just too risky. I told them that I would be happy to show them my drivers license to prove it was me, every other Drs office I go to is fine with this. But apparently Spicewood Dermatology is not. The clerk said she had to speak to the office manager, and he insisted that it was their policy that they must copy my drivers license or I couldnt be seen. He said "it was office policy". I guess its also office policy to lose what would be, a very good patient, by being incredibly officious and petty. If I were the Dr. and I found out about this, I would terminate that office manager immediately. They are new and trying to build up their practice and this is not the way to go about it.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Martin ! If you are looking for a doctor that listens and cares... She is it! I had several concerns with a skin condition my daughter had. Dr. Martin helped us solve this for good! I have since visited to take care of skin issues for my husband and myself and every time she has dedicated enough time to listen, diagnose EXPLAIN and resolve the different matters. It has just been an amazing experience every time!!!! I highly recommend her. Also since my insurance is very limited, at first I was even afraid to ask how much the bill would be since we would pay direct. I was so impressed by how conservative her rates are!!! The prices are so fair and low that I even took my mom to get her spots checked and removed. GREAT experience!

I went to get a few moles checked out, Im in my 20s. I only got to see the PA. None looked cancerous or dangerous but I decided to have 6 removed. I had no insurance and this was for cosmetic purposes so I wanted to know the costs. I was told about $250. I thought that sounded ok so I scheduled a 2nd appointment to get them removed. It ending up costing $300 to get them removed and what they didnt tell me was they had to send them all to a lab to get analyzed. Even though none were considered dangerous, they claimed they had to send them off. Its going to cost another $110 per specimen so $660 + $300 which is almost $1000. They didnt seem to care at all. Will never use again.

I am new to the area and needed to see a dermatologist. I called Spicewood Dermatology on my way home from work to make an appointment and they had an opening the very next morning. I arrived early to fill out paper work and once that was complete they called me back immediately. No waiting! The nurse took all my information in the exam room and within a minute of her leaving the doctor walked in. Impressive!! She checked out my areas of concern, plus did a full evaluation addressing any issues and then I was out the door! Check out was a breeze! In and out within 45 minutes BOOM! Everyone is sooo friendly and concerned. I will definitely recommend them!

Ive been struggling with a skin rash and other things was referred by my doctor. Absolutely no help at all waste of money. Practically pushing me out the door. said oh thats just from age and that is gone now. do not go there if you have any type of skin rash they are not helpful barely examine you and really make you feel uncomfortable. Beware. I had moles also I will be getting a second opinion do not risk your health here.
