Avoid using this dentist as they are very fraudulent. I took my children there a few months ago and provided all of my insurance information to the lady to verify before our appointment. I was informed when we arrived the amount our insurance would cover and our portion out of pocket. The lady at Kids Dental even provided me a copy of the estimate knowing fully they were out of network and the insurance would not cover this amount indicated on her estimate. Later that day, I was told about the other dental work that needed to be done for my son. Again insurance was verified or so I thought. 2 weeks ago I got a bill for almost $900. The insurance paid about $100 because Kids Dental is out of the network and the Kids Dental knew about this as she confirmed this when we called to inquire about the charges. I am now responsible for the full amount. When we called Kids Dental, the lady said, yes we are out of their network however NEVER was that information disclosed to me prior to having this work done. I even called my insurance company that stated they verified all my information and knew exactly what was covered before the service was provided. I feel as if Kids Dental lied or should I say withheld important information for me to make an educated decision. I understand ultimately it is my responsibility for not doing my additional homework but I trusted what they told me (there has to be some trust betweeen healthcare providers and consumers). Kids Dental in Carrollton, TX does not live by ethical standards and I would not take your kids there. As consumers we need to be able and trust those we do business with and most importantly take our children to. Please stay far away from them and spread the word! Sincerely, Cindy J

The facility is really nice. Every acts really nice when things go as planned. Doctors determined that they needed to extract two front teeth of my then 4 year old. They wanted to use valium. I delayed for over a month because I was uncomfortable. I asked why they had to use valium to pull teeth. They said my daughter was uncomfortable while getting a filling. I did the extraction with valium. The procedure went fine. My daughter was coo coo from 10 AM until she went to bed that night. I will never do that again. I prefer a dentist that doesnt use sedation of this kind on children. Because everything went fine I continued with cleanings. I included my younger daughter as well. I have had to reschedule 2-3 times because of my job. Each time I called 24 hours to 3 days before. Everytime. This time I was chastised for rescheduling and told to call back on the day that I could bring them in and they will "see" if they can be fit into the schedule. Note: Kids Dental called me and had to reschedule the day before an appointment as well. :-) You know what? No thanks. Theres better service out there Im sure of it. Service should actually be about the client and provide options that fit the clients needs pertaining to the service and schedule.

My 1 year old daughter had her very first Dental Appointment today!! She did such a great job. We would like to thank Dr. Holt and his staff for the special, friendly, well-informed care that they gave us today. Dr. Holt even took time to provide additional education concerning my daughter. Additionally, they have such a great facility. Ive never seen a play center for children at a dentists office. It was the best experience we have ever had.

My kiddos have been to this location several times and love it! Is dental work expensive? Yes. So, obviously depending on your insurance coverage, you may have to pay out of pocket for certain services. What matters most to me is the experience my children receive. The staff is helpful, kid friendly and seem to really enjoy what they do! If they accepted adult patients, you would find me in one of their chairs :)

I took my five years old son to a couple of dental offices without any success for any work done on his teeth. This is the first dental office that he wasnt afraid of getting an x-ray or letting the dentist/staff to checkup on his teeth. The office is design well, very kid friendly and clean. The dentist and staffs were informative and helpful. We had a good experience and will come back again!

I called to reschedule my sons appointment 28 hours before the appointment as something came up at his school and they asked for $75 as rescheduling fee. I have heard of cancellation fee but never a rescheduling fee and before 24 hrs of appointment. Very rude staff !! very disappointed.

but they cant or wont stick to what the insurance will pay for. My dental insurance covers 100% regular cleaning but I always ended up having to pay for X rays or flouride treatments. I am looking for a new dentist now.

The greediest people I have ever seen in my life. They Charged me almost $70 for putting a little of a paste in my sons teeth. This is on top of the copay. Dont ever go to this "dentist" so that you dont get ripped off.

My kids (2 and 4) are always excited about going to the dentist. They have always been going here and are anxious in the waiting room waiting to be seen. Never thought it would be this easy :)
