Complete waste of time, the doctor was completely inappropriate. I came in at 7am with a kidney infection. The only reason I knew it was a kidney infection is because I had one in 2004, and thats not something youll forget. My primary care did not come in until noon and I needed to be able to maintain until then. For anyone who has had a kidney infection and or kidney stones, you know the unbearable pain that comes along with it. I was given the third degree the moment I walked in. The night before I went into the hospital I had taken my last hydrocodone from a tonsillectomy I had 3 weeks prior. I explained that but when the nurse came in and asked me about it for the 2nd time, she said "You told me you had more at home." I advised her that I did not say that. When the doctor came in he was very blunt and cold. He gave me the 3rd degree on my pain and was very skeptical. He also asked about the pain killer that I took and did the same "You told the nurse you had more at home." thing. I explained again, I DID NOT SAY THAT. I explained that I had a tonsillectomy 3 weeks prior and thank God I had 1 left or Id be dying. He then proceeded to give me a hard time about that as well. He said "Then who did you get the tonsillectomy by?". I told him the doctor and he walked right over and said "Open your mouth.". Once he saw the back of my throat he realized that I did have the surgery and that the surgery area was still healing is me acknowledged it. Right after that, he asked me again what doctor did the surgery. When I told him again, he said that he knew the doctor and left. He came back with the results and verified that I did have a kidney infection but he would only give me Tylenol because I drove myself in. I explained that I had been miserable since 4 am but did not want to drag my husband and 8-year-old to the ER, so I waited until my husband woke up with my daughter to get her ready for school and drop her of. I told him that my husband was on his way to pick me up and that I was in excruciating pain and Tylenol was not going to cut it. I told him and the nurse 3 times that my husband was on his way. During those 3 times I was given the third degree about him coming. Every time I mention him coming they said something along the lines of "Oh, I thought I saw you drive in.". At this point I was livid, in excruciating pain and starting wonder what the hell was going on. I was given a shot of antibiotics and was relieved to start the steps to getting better quick. I was given a rx for Tramadol (crap pain med that doesnt work for 1/2 the people who take it, like myself), an rx for Promethazine (for nausea), and an antibiotic. I explained to them that Tylenol and Tramadol were not going to cut it for this situation. The doctor said "This is how we treat kidney infections" which is total bs because every doctor/nurse knows that this is the equivalent of pushing out a baby. By then my husband had arrived. As I started to walk out with my belongings, extremely agitated when the doctor said "Go ahead and give her a hydrocodone since her husband is here."............ For crying out loud, thats all I needed to help me until my doctor came in at noon!!! I explained that this was the biggest waste of time for a $100 dollar freakin co-pay, and if I would have known that I would have been treated like a drug addict I would have waited, dying until noon to see my doctor. Lastly, the front desk representative came to my room asking me to sign all of the normal paperwork that you would sign when you visit the ER. She said she called to verify my insurance but it was too early so Id need to do it myself....My husband asked her if she could try again in a few hours and she said "I dont see any need for that, they can just bill you.". This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had at an ER. Ive never been treated so terribly. Ive never had to explain myself over and over again to show that I was telling the truth. I was treated like a druggie.

First visit was great I was billed as normal $70. I had 2 follow up appointments after the initial one that ended up over $600. Explain to me how this is even possible? Scott and White billing is terrible you never know if its going to be $50 or $500 when you walk out and you could go for the same thing at the same facility with the same doctor. Such a crooked business. They do not put the customer first, they put the customer in the dark and when you attempt to dispute, nothing changes because nobody seems to know what anything costs or what will be billed. Like in the past I will get a computer automated message in reply for this review to contact a Support Center which I have done and never recieved any call back from. Just another example of how much THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

Beware! Baylor Scott White will charge you a $200 "facilities fee" on top of your doctor visit. This was NOT covered by insurance. If I had gone to the urgent care down the street I would have only paid a $25 copay. Instead my out-of-pocket bill was almost $300 for a sore back. The doctor took less than 5 min, prescribed an over the counter pain killer and a massage.

Went to this location with back and chest pain at 3 a.m. They ran blood test and sent me home with no treatment . What a joke. I would not have gone to a emergency room if the pain was tolerable .
