Both the ER staff and ICU staff have always provided both my husband and myself with outstanding, efficient, and expeditious medical attention whenever our needs for their medical facility have been needed. Both ER and ICU Staffs have always provided us with job knowledgeable execution of their duties, along with a pleasant, clean atmosphere and cheerfulness throughout the Center. We have no qualms about using Connally Memorial Medical Center! Thank you all for being conscientious, caring people! I would like to add that on occasion of my husband having a procedure by GREAT Dr. Nayak in the ICU, RN Irene Henry demonstrated thoroughness, outstanding job knowledge, a "caring, compassionate" attitude which made both my husband and I feel more at ease considering the location and situation at hand in ICU! Both Dr. Nayak and RN Irene Henry are definitely tremendous assets to not only the ICU, but to the entire Medical Center. Thank you for hiring such a dedicated individual as Nurse Henry, and also thank you for providing an excellent Center for Dr. Nayak to perform his many delicate, complicated tasks in your facility!! God Bless You! Mr. John Wm and Mrs. Frankie Jim Bockman, Stockdale, TX 04/21/2016

I have been hospitalized many times over the last 45 years or so, including three within the last year at Connally Memorial. I believe this to be the best kept secret in Texas. The hospital is small but very well equipped, the staff makes the word exemplary seem inadequate, and as of this last visit the food makes you want to stay longer even if it means suffering the relative indignity of hospital gowns and being awakened every few hours all night, as hospitals seem to enjoy doing no matter where they are. I dont know what change theyve made, although I heard vague rumors of a new military trained chef, but whatever it was I heartily approve. The food is outstanding. If you prefer your hospitals dingy and depressing with a morose staff, outdated equipment and stereotypically poor hospital food...avoid Connally Memorial like the plague. Now I think Ill go visit a sick friend. Maybe Ill catch something.

Part 1: I just called to make an appointment. Its Christmas week and you know how hectic it can get. The receptionist transferred my call to the correct clinic. An employee answered right away instead of a recorded message or ringing phone. He said "Please hold on Im finishing up with another person." About three minutes later he took my information and was very patient in spite of my hearing problem. Yes he had to repeat himself twice but still he was polite. Almost felt like "we cant wait to see you." Sounds corny but the point is they made me feel positive. I read several of the reviews. It seems to me that most, not all, negative reviews come from folks who dont have a primary care provider and just thus go there for emergency care on what should be handled by a family doctor some where else. Part 2 next week after my appointment.

I went into the emergency room on a Friday night for kidney pain and they sent me for a CT Scan which revealed a large kidney stone lodged in my system. I had major swelling and instead of being admitted, I was sent home with pain medication and told to contact a urologist the following week. The next day I developed a 103.9 fever and was unable to get in touch with a urologist over the weekend. I was finally able to get in with someone in San Antonio the following Monday and ended up having to go in for emergency surgery the following day to have the stone removed. My urologist said I should have been admitted to the hospital when I initially went to the ER due to the severity of my condition. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

They called child protective services on me!!!! I took my 1 yr old son because he had a fever and a few days later cps came to my house! I have no idea why! My son is healthy and he is not neglected he is my only child i spend ALL my tiem with him i stay home with him everyday, i dont understand why they would call cps on me! I dont smoke i dont drink. Theyre crazy ! They didnt even give my son any medicine when i got there to lower his fever of 104! They gave him medicine about 2 hours later, the nurses there are bit***s theyre stuck up amd they dont even talk to you. Do yourseld a favor and dont go here ! Especially dont take your children unless you want a cps case opened against you!

Do not go here if you have blood clotting issues. They didnt check my coagulation levels and only took a sonogram of my thigh on my left leg. No groin or calf check. Went to another hospital right after I left here and all was checked. Please if you can go somewhere else. I will be disputing my bill because the doctor came in but once to ask me why they hadnt taken my blood yet then never saw me again. Acted like it was my fault. I will never go here again. Its unfortunate because Im moving out here soon and was hopeful for a nice healthcare place. Please inform your doctors and staff the severity of pulmonary embolisms and dvts!

Emergency room staff & physicians are horrible. I went to hospital via ambulance. Could not stand up due to severe chest pain, sob, nausea, hypertension from Lupus complications. Dr only ran labs & EKG. They gave me short term nausea & pain med. I could NOT stand up or walk on my own. Friends picked me up & took me to Kenedy Hospital. Floresville ER staff told Kenedy staff there was nothing wrong with me. Pushed me from a gurney into a wheel chair. Next day went to Rheumatologist & he sent admitting orders to hospitalist at CMMC. I was admitted for 4 days for Lupus complications.

Brought the wife here cause she started having really bad pains in her arm and side. The staff wasnt mean but they were far from what you should expect. The whole time they looked at her like she was trying to score some pain pills or something, it was ridiculous. The doctor and nurse both acted stuck up and like we were stupid. Anyway, they pushed us on out the door and charged us 500.00. I took the wife to San Antonio to see a doctor there, where they found 3 masses on her back and side where the pain was. Needless to say that I will never come back here ever again.

They do have nice staff, but its a weird hospital. i was there twice and the doctor never came behind the curtain see me. I got a prescription and I was like ok and then went home and was back there two days later and the same thing happened. I drove with my daughter in the rain all the way to Seguin where I had gotten good help and the right diagnose and the right prescription. So i wonder why i got a bill in the mail, it was for the doctor who never came in to see me

Just called n asked for patient information. Was immediately transferred to , idk, a voicemail. Called again n asked for patient information n was immediately transferred to a doctors office!?! All the while nobody asked the possible patients name, just transferring me, nor did they state that they would be transferring me anywhere. I am suggesting that this facility extend some customer relations classes / training, to include phone ettiquette, to their employees.
