We were new the whole urgent care type of healthcare, but our new insurance had a $30 copay for urgent care and $500 for er....no brainer. My wife had a bad cold with lots of chest congestion for about a month and was only showing little improvement here and there. So we decided to go to make sure it wasnt something more serious like pneumonia. She had that a few years ago and it led to congestive heart failure and a defibrillator implantation. So we head up there 10 am on a Saturday morning, waited like 10 minutes, and a super friendly nurse Rachel brings us back. Listens and types all her info, does the vitals, says the doc will be in shortly. Very soon Dr. Nalla came in, equally as nice and thorough. Seemed very concerned about the possibly of pneumonia with my wifes weekend heart and told us the danger of getting the wrong antibiotics for her situation. A quick exam and a check for strep was ordered before the chest X-ray. Strep came back positive and chest X-ray came back negative. All in all we would both recommend Concentra Frisco!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!! Save your time, your money, and your sanity. someone NEEDS to fire that front desk lady. SO Rude and doesnt know how to treat someone who is injured. If someone walks in with a broken hand, youre really gonna sit back and complain about the paperwork youre making them do? She also just made decisions for us when scheduling the follow up exam... Resulting in literally the busiest time slot. Yes, nearly 2 hours for a follow up because over 30 patients were scheduled to see one doctor at the same time. The doctor was just okay. A six or so minutes visit after the hour and a half in the waiting room and half our wait in the room itself. Oh yeah, it took THAT long on the day I was the only patient in there too. These people have zero compassion for patients. Oh and all the paperwork you fill out ? Prepare to verbally just repeat all the answers to a nurse later on... Sometimes you answer the same questions 3 or four times. Why? Because these people suck. AVOID!!

I went in for a physical the doctor examined me. He was not very friendly to me or seem concerned about me, Almost like I was just a number. I went to pay my co pay and I was charged two copays . I asked the respetionist why and she explained to me that I had two different visits. I went ahead and payed the two copays. When I got home, I called my insurance and the Rep explained to me that only one copay can be charged for each physicl appointment . I call Metro Urgent care and they office manager said that they didnot nothing wrong and she would not refund my money. I asked to speak to the doctor and he said that he didnot want to speak to me. Beware of this clinic the care is subpar and they steal from you!!!!!!

If its outside of their posted hours by the barest minute, dont even bother with Metro Urgent Care at Frisco Main and Teel. They turned my husband and son away simply because he was less then a minute after their clocks hit closing time despite the fact that my son was quite obviously ill. A five minute consult with a strep test was all he needed, instead the doors got shut and locked in my husbands face by a completely disinterested employee. I, the mommy, had called even and let them know they were on their way. Sure, its the closest place to our house for us to go, but under no circumstances are we willing to return. This happened in May of 07.

This place was top-notch until they were acquired by Concentra but has seriously gone down hill now. Three members of my family have had blood drawn and they have demonstrated the complete lack of necessary skills to perform the task. The guy trying to draw my blood even said he wasnt skilled in this. He said, "Im an Xray technician not a medical assistant". I had to be stabbed 3 times and he blew one vein. They were unable to draw blood from my son and sent us to Quest who coincidentally were able to do it in 60 seconds. My wife was stabbed 3 times before they hit a vein. My recommendation is to stay away if you need any lab work.

I went in 3 days before Christmas saying I had a sinus infection. The PA told me that it was just a cold and gave me a RX for a $60 cough medicine. I went back 4 days later and was told by a doctor that I had a "very advanced" sinus infection. Yet I had to pay again. I obviously had it the first time, if it was that advanced 4 days later. My Christmas was horrible b/c I was so sick and if theyd treated me right the first time, maybe I would have been on the mend by Christmas. The hours are great and I love the Dr office copay, I just wish I had gotten the right treatment the first time.

This was my first there since it became Concentra from Metro Urgent Care. I had a pain in my neck. The PA that I saw couldnt figure out what was wrong. What a waste of my $45 copay. I asked him specifically if it could be a pulled muscle. He said no. They also didnt take any of my medical history. They didnt ask what medications Im on or anything. I just got back from my dr and guess what?! Its a pulled muscle ... and the crazy super complicated technique she used to figure this out?! She put her hand where it hurt and had me turn my head and felt that the muscle was very tight.

I went there needing a doctors note for work. It was 10 minute wait before I was even acknowledged while standing at the front window. They eventually told me it would be an hour wait. After about an hour they told me that if I was to see the doctor that they wouldnt be able to give me a doctors note for work because I was a new patient and I wasnt sick enough for them. This is the absolute worst doctors office I have ever been to and I will never ever go back there. Go to ER Centers of America in Plano, they actually care about customer service.

Doctors were friendly enough and got in fast on a Sunday morning but they made me pay up front. I found later they never filed with my insurance so I had to call them to do that. After filing and my insurance company paid them, they never sent me a check for the credit due. When I called they apologized and said a check would be sent promptly to me. That was over 3 weeks ago. So if you go, be aware of this as I suspect they routinely rip off people who dont bother to track their finances.

I honestly cant believe people have anything bad to say about this place. My husband and I have had such good experiences that we ended up changing them to our primary care providers. Its clean, fast, and all of the doctors and nurse practitioners have been wonderful. Personally, we like doctors who dont keep you in the "sick cycle" of over-medicating you with antibiotics and steroids, and they definitely dont. I think their care is great and Ive never paid a penny more than my co-pay.
