I have found my new dentist! I have intended to change dentists for some time, but kept putting it off. Broke a tooth, so I had to get it done like NOW. So how do you go about picking a new dentist? I only had online reviews to work with. Horizon had glowing reviews, so I took a chance. They deserve all the 5 stars they have received. I was going to need a crown. Have several, and know what to expect. But this was the BEST crown Ive ever had done. There is usually a temporary put on for a couple weeks, while a lab makes the permanent crown. You spend two weeks being gentle & praying the temp does not come off. Then the permanent NEVER fits quite right & needs a lot of tweaking by the dentist ( have ya been there ? ). Not the case with Dr. Z. He as a machine in the office that takes a 3D picture of the mouth. Then in 7 minutes, it makes a perfect fitting crown. So no temporary crown & a perfect fit. Done in one visit. FANTASTIC! And as to the normal routine stuff. Every time I get work done, the dentist will swab the area to be numbed with something that is supposed to lessen the pain from the needle. I suppose its always better than not doing it. But it has still always had some injection pain. Not the case here. It was totally painless. Then there is the after effects. In the past, after a dental visit, half my face would be numb for hours. Id bite my tongue & cheek up, and never realize it until the novicane had worn off. Again, not the case today. By the time I was checking out, it was almost completely worn off. Okay, getting a little long winded here. Ill try & wrap this up. The staff were all friendly and caring. The Dr. is "regular" guy if you engage him in conversation. And finally ( and probably an important issue ), they were honest with me. The total cost was presented up front. But when the work was done, there was a step that did not need to be taken. But how would I know that? I dont know dentistry. I was prepared to pay the agreed cost. But they said a step was not needed & it saved me almost $100. They could have charged me, Id have never known & still left happy. Its great for me they are just down the road. But if thats not the case for you, it would still be worth the drive to come to this practice. FD

My husband and I have had several procedures performed by Dr. Mughrabi and his staff in addition to our checkups and have been very pleased with the service. However, the main reason we are writing this review is because he recently went above and beyond the call of duty. I started to develop severe dental pain on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It got progressively worse and woke me up several times that evening. I finally called Dr. Mughrabis emergency number at about 4:30 AM on Wednesday. He called back right away and, after a little pleading on my part, agreed to meet us at his Georgetown office at 5:30. After the examination we came to the conclusion that an extraction was the best course of action. There was a bit of humor in the situation because Dr. Mughrabi commented that he was having trouble locating the right instruments because his assistants usually handle that aspect. When I mentioned this to my friends they are all surprised that a dentist would come out at 5:30 AM, especially the day before a major holiday. All have said that they didnt think their dentist would do this.

I am very pleased with going to Horizon Dental!! The best experience EVER!! Great customer service along with customer care and promptness. I got an appointment right away, my problem was taken care of and I LOVE their operation days and hours. Dr.Mughrabi is by far the best dentist I have been to yet. How many people do you know who had 2 extractions in one visit walk out with a smile!! I will definitely recommend Dr.Mughrabi. Thank you all for your compassion and kindness. Yall are the best!!

Today I had a tooth extracted and I was scared at first but the staff and the dentist made me very comfortable and I was very pleased with the service I received to day I recommend Horizon Dental to anyone that needs dental treatment. I really like this dental office I set appointments for my children the best experience I have had in a while thanks for the excellent service provided today by the dentist and the staff if I could I would give 10 stars.

Well I must say all personal is outstanding and super kind. LUC is a true winner from the minute you walk in she is super personable and Dr Z is just awesome and I couldnt see ever going to another dentist. The new office in Georgetown is very sweet. Sandy B sure is a super star. Keep up the great work. Shannon is a fantastic hygienist.

Omg! Amazing! In and out in less than an hour! Didnt feel a thing and I got a wisdom tooth pulled! Friendly staff and Dr. Z was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. Thank you guys!!! Definitely best Dentist in the area, hands down.
