I simply can not remember the last time I walked into a place and felt the WARM WELCOMING that I felt when I walked into Castle Hills Smiles Dentistry! From the moment I called and spoke with Jennifer I felt as if I were in good hands, only to be confirmed by the extremely polite, and professional greeting I received from both Taylor and Jennifer, while walking in the door. Now for me personally I believe you have about 10 seconds to make a good impression, and it took them a fraction of a second to make a GREAT IMPRESSION!! Now while a proper greeting is important, so is the process in which Im taken thru, and let me tell you they have their process down to a science. IT WAS BY FAR THE MOST SEAMLESS EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT THE DENTIST OFFICE IN MY 38 YEARS! (thats saying a lot) Last on the list - skill level. Everyone involved in my process, Sonya (who did my x-rays), Ashley (my hygienist), and Dr. Bratcher all did a flawless, and painless job! Never felt rushed, uncomfortable, mislead, or that I was in the hands of some who didnt know what they were doing. Now for me personally I cant justify spending MY time writing a review for good service, in fact the only reason Ill spend MY money somewhere, is because I expect good service, so when I tell you that my experience here was EXTRAORDINARY, I mean it! 5+ STARS WITHOUT QUESTION!!!

I never write reviews this more than deserved one! Yesterday I went in for my check up and was reminded quickly why I dont mind coming to the dentist I have a special needs daughter who I didnt have a sitter for so I brought her with me and Jennifer up front colored with her while they took my X-rays and then after seeing beautiful Dr. Laura Taylor the office manager came in to talk to me about my insurance now I have always thought she was GREAT but today her sweet compassionate warm hearted spirit blew me away!!! I asked Taylor how my daughter was doing upfront and did I need to come get her, was driving them crazy yet and Taylor assured me she was having a blast and not a burden on them at all but a blessing and had brightening their day! Taylors kind genuine words had me emotionally in tears for how much she understood my situation and that my daughter isnt a burden but a Blessing and I really needed that it is hard sometimes to always look at the positive and I thank God that yesterday my dental office reminded me of just how blessed I truly am! Thank you castle hills smiles for always treating me as family and Taylor thank you for everything your amazing and I just cant say enough good about your heart!

The dentist seems proficient. The office manager, Taylor, was beyond awful. No follow up. No warmth. Lacked professionalism. Although I think Dr. Bratcher knew her stuff, the prices were over the top, the dental cleaning lacked any ultrasound, and the placed seemed more like a high paced car dealership than a medical practice. The office manager should be replaced, as a starter, and a newer approach to marketing, follow up and organization. I think the work was o.k.; fair; informed, but, the front office was SERIOUSLY lacking in nearly every detail. I cant recommend this business. Good point. Dr. Bratcher seemed like she could do better. That is, she struck me as a well qualified pro but...working with a poor business management group. Too much of a car dealership feel. Too much lack of organization. Dr. Bratcher deserves to work with a better management group. Other staff was friendly; non-combative; they worked to fix Taylor lack of attention to detail. Bratcher strikes me as a very good dentist, but, the practice management needs considerable polish, and attention to detail. Complacency is one of my pet peeves.

We had an unpleasant experience... my son needed oral surgery. We came in for a consultation, filled all the necessary paperwork and got an estimate on Monday. We agree to get the surgery scheduled that same week for Wednesday. However, on the day of his surgery, we were advised that my son wasnt old enough to be sedated. Why the HECK do they have me fill all that paperwork, which contains my sons age, and not even bother to notice that!! They said they would recommend us to a "sister office" in Frisco. Taylor, at the front desk, promised to call me by the end of that same week. I didnt hear from her nor anyone from this office. I called Wednesday of the following week and she didnt even have any answers for me yet. She said she would call me in 5 MINUTES, which I ended calling back after 4 hours because she never returned my call! What a waist of our time and gas since we live about 35 miles away. I DO NOT recommend this place... I should of read the reviews before choosing this place.

I wouldnt trust anyone else to work on my teeth! Dr Bratcher got me in sameday as an emergency patient after a bad basketball accident and to think I was nervous was an understatement but is soon as I walked in I was greeted by Taylor the manager of the office who had such a pleasant tone and easily started conversation easing my nerves immediately it was a bonus that she was gorgeous and answered all my insurance questions too next Jenny took my X-rays and they were painless and quick then! Then I went into the room to see what all I needed and Dr Bratcher really focused on my main concern that was cool Im now Im going to let her crown both of my front teeth this is crazy but a good crazy thanks for making my appointment enjoyable castle hills smiles

I do not recommend this place. I have had several bad experiences with them. The first negative experience was when I ordered a tooth brush from them. Taylor told me it would arrive in a week. It took 5 weeks and multiple unreturned phone calls before I finally got the tooth brush. The second bad experience was when they had to cancel a cleaning for my son, I was not notified until the day of the appointment. I rescheduled both of our appointments and told Taylor that I needed to see the Dr. to discuss my TMJ. She said she would notate my file. I arrived to my appointment for cleaning and the dentist was not there. Very disappointed in the lack of integrity and communication of this practice. I will not be returning.

NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE- considering suing - - Amazingly poor customer service. Had work performed- did not bother to verify with insurance that work would be covered PRIOR to said work- in fact said it WOULD be covered. When it was NOT covered - THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS worth- instead of rectifying it- or even notifying us- we start getting HARRASING AND THREATENING LETTERS FROM COLLECTION AGENCIES! Seriously? We came in- PAID FOR THE WORK NOT PAID BY INSURANCE- and almost a YEAR LATER I HAVE CREDIT ISSUES AND REPORTING ISSUES AND JUST TODAY GOT ANOTHER THREATENING COLLECTION LETTER THIS TIME FROM HEIR ATTORNEY- although my bill is PAID IN FULL. Sick of it - legal action coming!!!
