I can not say enough good things about this Vet and staff. Two days ago my German Shorthaired Pointer, Chaos, got hung up on a barbed wire fence off County Rd. 204 while dove hunting. It was bad, really bad, he was spurting blood everywhere from his elbow! He was bleeding so badly I thought he would die from blood loss. After applying a tourniquet I rushed Chaos to Comanche Trail. Two staff members met me in the parking lot and immediately attended to my prized hunting dog. They were very calming and assured me they would do all they can. After I cleaned up all the blood on myself. Dr. Martin came out to talk to me. He was professional and detailed on the puncture wound. He had cleaned and shave the area, and had me sit with Chaos to calm him down. If it was a artery, it was going to require serious medical attention, but if it was just the vein he would be okay. As I sat with him in the office he realized it was not artery that was hit, but the main vein. My dog was going to be ok. Dr. Martin gave me some directions to keep Chaos calm and how to help him heal. Now here comes the part that really made me a fan, after a emergency call, in which I was almost hysterical, my bill was under $40. dollars. When I asked Dr. Martin he said," We did not do that much". What a great Doc! I would recommend this Vet anytime, any day. His staff is tops too. They understood my maniacal love for my dog and were helpful and informative at all times. Also the guy who said Dr.Martin was hassling him over a bill in a review, I find it hard to believe. I know there are two sides of a story, but I would ignore that review.

Recommended by a friend, they are located an hour from my home, but worth the drive. I brought my dog in as an emergency, and even though they already had an emergency on the way and appointments, they got me in immediately. My dog had a uterine infection and needed emergency surgery. She had a fifty fifty chance before they learned her platelets were lower than they want for surgery. They stayed open an hour and a half late to care for her. Once home, I found they had removed her loose tooth and took care of her nails at no charge. She was well enough to eat that night, and by day three she was back to herself. They gave me a package deal to get bloodwork done at her check-up, where I was reassured her kidneys and platlets had completely recovered. They also removed the staples, to save me a trip. I couldnt have asked for better service, and will bring all my future business here.

I really liked this Vet until I got behind on my bill and he sent my neighbors over to tell me to pay up. So unprofessional and unethical. I had been making payments! I called to talk to them about it and make the final payment and the lady I spoke with was very defensive. She said that the neighbors were just supposed to ask me to mcall the vet, but instead asked me to pay up. She became mad and hung up on me. I now have questions about this practice and so should anyone. BEWARE!

Took my 2 month APBT puppy Theo for his 1st examination and vaccinations and I couldnt be happier! All the ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful. The vets assistant was awesome also, she was very compassionate and caring with my dog. Dr. Rodriguez is very professional and very caring for your pets health. She was very patient and informative when taking and answering any questions I had. Looks like I found my vet!

Today was our first visit to Dr. Martins practice. We went in for our GSDs annual and couldnt have been more pleased. Dr. Martin and his staff are clearly very well suited to their jobs. Our boy can be very nervous at the vet and the entire staffs demeanor helped to put him at ease and make our visit a very positive one.

The workers here are always so friendly and kind even when they are swamped with work. Weve taken over 6 animals for care here and theyve always been gentle and caring with our pets. Even when some had passed, they sent us a condolence card which really went the extra mile.

Everyone there is very nice. They treat my dog like he is "king". He is comfortable there and really likes staying there. Because of all this I make the 45 minute (one way) trip. I will not go anywhere else.
