Words cannot express the feeling I have, but my smile sure can! Many heartfelt thanks to Dr.Alvarado, Aleida, Cathy, Erika, Carmen, Rebecca, Mary and the entire awesome staff of The Lakes Family Dental. It seems like Ive been a part time resident of the dentist my whole life! Ive endured literally every procedure from a simple cleaning to bone grafting and everything in between. Im a vivacious 47yr old with a passion for life, so when my partial(the entire upper left) detached for good, I was left feeling like I had lost the best feature I had. After unexpectedly becoming a caregiver for my husband and my father, both whom have since passed, time had passed by quickly and it had been 16 years since I had last "checked in" to the dentist. Because of periodontal disease, my gums were in pretty bad shape and a few teeth had broken off, so you can only imagine the embarrassment I felt. Ill never forget that first visit with Aleida(the hygienist) and her assistant Mary. I was so overwhelmed with the news of my gums I cried. They were so sympathetic and nonjudgmental and reassured me that everything would work out! Determined to get my smile back, I decided to work hard and after 3 months of good dental hygiene practice, I received 2 thumbs up from Aleida! My gums had improved and I was ready to move on to the next step. Dr.Alvarado had made a plan for me that included more fillings, 3 extractions and bone grafts. After the first filling appointment, I remember thinking that it was the BEST appointment I had ever had. I didnt feel any pain nor did I need any pain meds! Even with the extractions and bone grafts, I came out of the room smiling! Im near the end of our plan and now have 2 new partials(upper & lower) and I couldnt be happier! They gave me back my smile and now everyone laughs because Im "cheesing" ALL the time. A special thanks to my friend Yolanda who referred me to this office and Dr.Alvarado and staff...you gave me my confidence back and for that I am forever grateful!

I too, like Saul, feel it has changed. I loved the Lakes. Im so disappointed with them now. They keep asking us to get things done that dont need to be stating it will be beneficial. I feel like they are being pushy and just trying to sell treatments and make money. I love the service, but financially, they seem to be getting greedy. Ive been having $ w/drawn since January. Every month I had to call b/c they took the wrong amount. We paid it off and I specifically asked if they had to cancel the autodraft. She said no, that it would be taken care of automatically. As I type this, I will have to call once again (4th time) and tell them I want my money back.

Going to the dentist isnt always the most fun experience, but Lakes Family Dental really puts every effort into making you feel welcomed, relaxed, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, and if they dont know your name right away, they learn it and remember you on subsequent visits, which is very nice! They are always happy to see you. The doctors are very knowledgeable and friendly and never hesitate to answer any questions. They work directly with your insurance, which makes that process flow very smoothly. I am very comfortable getting my teeth worked on here. Lakes Family Dental is very professional and I recommend them for all your dental work!

Words cant even describe the kind of happiness Ive expressed these passed few months trying out 6months smiles. Growing up i was always self conscious about my smile and being a very outgoing guy it was difficult to fully express my smile. I constantly dreamt about the moment I would get out into the world and just be happy. When I came to Dr. Alvarado to didnt know what to expect. But he promised me that he was going to change my life forever. The entire staff was very polite and genuine, I felt so comfortable with the enviorment. Within the first month I couldnt believe that transformation, my smile never looked straighter it brought me to tears.

I recently visited them after cracking a tooth. Mind you, its been over ten years since Ive visited a dentist because of a previously traumatic experience. To my surprise, this was the most comfortable experience Ive EVER had. Before the procedure they made sure to walk me through what to expect and answered any questions I had (without rushing me out the door). Both the staff and Dentists bedside manner was amazing. Throughout the whole procedure they continually asked about my comfort and made sure I was doing okay. I would highly recommend for anyone searching for a dentist to consider this place.

Today was a surprising experience, I had six cavities taken care of. it sounds like a lot but was repaired faster than I thought and without pain. Im glad to have them done. I want to thank big James who can take x-rays when others have a difficult time with people who have a torie, and he can locate cnn on tv.i Also, I want to thank Alandra, who was caring like an angel. Most of all Dr. Alvarado, who is the BEST when taking care of people and their teeth. Thanks again to everyone on the team with their happy to see you smiles and greeting you as if your part of their own family.

I"ve been going to The Lakes Family Dental since 2011. The staff is nice and attentive, but Dr. Jeffrey Alvarado dissrespected me with his comments. He belittled, and embrassed me. I suffer from major anxiety and other illness. His way of speaking to me was very unprofessional. I was crying and instead of stopping to ask me why I was crying he just didnt care. The nurse that attended me started consoling me. I left feeling humiliated. Dr. Jeffrey Alvarado needs to be compassionate with his patients because he already lost all my respect and trust.

From the moment you walk in you, you always feel welcome and the staff genuinely cares and takes their time with you. You are not just another patient being pushed through. I feel very comfortable taking my small children here. Even when one of my children was having a difficult time with feeling anxious, the staff was very compassionate and patient! Dr. Alvarados bedside manner is awesome! And last but not least the front offfice staff is amazing!

GREAT professional service from Dr. Alvarado and all his crew.  I recently had one of my molars extracted and decided to go with an IMPLANT procedure.  I am still surprised on how fast Dr. Alvarado completed the procedure, it was fast  and the pain was very very minimal.  Today i had two restorations and the procedure took longer that the actual implant procedure.  I highly recommend Dr. Alvarado and his crew at The Lakes Family Dental.

Im so happy with my veneers! Ive had a lot great compliments from family, friends, and complete strangers! I feel like a new woman! Great staff and an amazing dentist, Dr. Alvarado; they make you feel very comfortable.They are caring, professional, and its a fun environment to be at. I love them! Ive had multiple work done from veneers to fillings, teeth cleaning, and whitening my teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Alvarado and Dr. Saenz.
