Thank you Fischer Veterinary for taking care of our big "baby" (a 6 year old lab!) From the very beginning we were treated wonderfully by Lee at the front desk. She has helped advise us on when the best times would be to bring our dog in for our visits. We have not ever had to wait very long any of the times that we were there. The first time we saw Dr. Aven who seemed to genuinely care about our dog. He was very nice. Our lab had a mebomian gland cyst on his eye and we tried antibiotics and steroid to shrink it.Sadly it didnt shrink. For the next visit, we saw Dr. Almany and her assistant, Alex, who were both amazing!!! My shy, scared dog felt comfortable with them both. Dr. Almany wasted no time to get the adenoma off so it would not ruin his cornea. We have found our new vet for life!!! They were very reasonabley priced. So glad we chose Fischer Veterinary because they went out of their way to take care of our baby! We are especially grateful that they were able to save his eyesight. Thank you to everyone who works there.

My Vets office called today asking about how Penney is doing. I was surprised that they were really concerned compared to my last Vet. I guess thats why I love Fischer Vet Clinic so much, they really do care and you dont need to make an appointment to see them either. Just walk right in anytime at your convenience, but make sure its during open hours. Not only do I love them, but my dogs love Fischer Vet Clinic and the people who work there. Unlike my last Vet where you had to drag my dogs in, at Fischer Vet Clinic theyd go in voluntarily with tails wagging. I noticed the difference in atmosphere right off the bat the first time I took my grandmothers cat in for shots. Even the animals can tell the difference in a positive casual loving atmosphere that Fischer Vet Clinic has. The difference really shows between a Vets office who is really concerned for the welfare of your pet and one whos in it just for the money, and for my money I will never go anyplace else ever again.

My wife and I had a desperate situation with an animal rescue who had a fracture to his spine which caused him to be paraplegic who lost his ability to be continent and put him in bad shape. We by referral, used the walk in service and received over & above professional care with lots of TLC. And best of all, they dont exploit your situation by offering the best prices in the Tri-County area. I work in the medical field as nurse and Im more than impressed. I could go on about how great they are but as you can see from their consistently high ratings, they really are the best. Our newest family member JoJo, is gaining tremendously and on track to rehab very well. He just might walk again. All this because of a loving and competent facility who still calls to check in on his status! We have been clients of Fischer Vet for many years. My dog, Jimmy Choo, has been a patient there for 6 years and I would never trust anyone else with his care. They combine an advanced knowledge of Veterinary Medicine with the caring and compassion of true animal lovers. Jimmy Choo recently had surgery and was there for 3 days. The level of care he recieved (and the compassion shown to me) was superior to that in most human hospitals. Drs. Allmany & Fischer were diligent in ensuring his care and recovery, thereby saving his life. The entire staff is AMAZING!!! From the minute you walk in and are greeted by the charming receptionist Lee or Dr. Fischers lovely wife Betty, to the time you leave having been served by the best technicians and doctors in the state, you know your pet is in capable, caring hands. I am forever grateful to these people...THANK YOU FISCHER VET!!!!!!

After adopting my Boxer from the NB Humane Society, I took her to Fischer Vet Clinic for a full exam. The staff was friendly and caring and the Veterinarian with his assistant took the time to let my new, unsure and somewhat frightened pet get to know them and calm her before the exam. It was a pleasant experience for myself and my new pet. We recently moved back into the New Braunfels area and I am so delighted that I am able to take my pet to Fischer again! The Vets medical knowledge and the staffs level of care offered to myself and my pet is impressive! The clinic is clean and friendly every time I have been there. I highly recommend Fischer Veterinary Clinic.

WOW! this place was fantastic ! Today was our first visit & i just got back from taking my cat there for just a general check up with the vet and his recommended shots. it all took less than an hour! the prices were reasonable, they take walk-ins, and all the staff were so nice and helpful. The vet that took care of us, Dr. Almany, was so helpful and seemed to genuinely care about my concerns. I would recommend this clinic for anyone looking for good service, kind staff, and for reasonable prices, if you are looking for all this, Fischer Vet Clinic is for sure the place! :) I am most definitely making this my go-to vet clinic. <3

You people that give this place of death good reviews are suffering from normalcy bias and stockholm syndrome. I was too until my cat who was just looked at by them 2 day previous was just barely alive on Sunday. had to take her to the emergency cash only clinic. to stabilize her was going to be 1800 until monday so I could get her back to fischer. He was amazed that he even let her go home. So he knows NOTHING about felines. I lost 2 cats this past week and the only common thing was they were both checked out to be ok by this place. BE WARNED. oh and to fischer , I had to give Chella the needle thanks to you.

I have had the fortune to be associated with Fischer Veterinary Clinic for thirty years. In the past, when I have told others about some of my experiences with the Clinic I am told I am really lucky to have a clinic that that I can trust. They are not just there to exploit my feelings for my pets, but to give them the genuine care they deserve. They do not recommend a lot of over-the-top treatments or tests, but carefully weigh and consult with me about the direction of care I desire. The staff is very supportive and helpful as well. I cant recommend highly enough!

Our poodle, Henry, was born at Fischer and has been under their care ever since. We love the prices, our ability to bring him in when we need to, and the fact that they always remember and love him. He recently spent a long weekend "on vacation" at their clinic boarding and we all left knowing he would be played with and well cared for while at the clinic. The doctors also have been great with our kids, shown them slides under the microscope and preserved specimens and have always taken their time with us. We highly recommend Fischer Veterinary Clinic!
