Best vet experience I have had so far. We are military and have visited a large variety of vet offices over 10 years due to moves. This is by far the best office I have been to. Our puppy had been vomiting for 2+ days so I brought her in. I was just waiting for the lecture on waiting that long (I waited because my husband is a physician and I am a midwife so we felt comfortable monitoring her a bit longer than recommended generally, as she had no severe warning signs). I didnt experience anything except respect and sympathy. They quickly diagnosed her with parvo, and unlike my only previous experience with it (as a teen when my sisters dog got sick with it) they were happy to discuss a variety of options from hospitalization and blood work, to meds at home and everything in between. They happily printed a sheet with the cost of each option so I could make a plan suitable for us. They also were happy to develop a plan with me based on our available medical experience and supplies, including giving her subcutaneous fluids at home and instructing me on how to do so specifically for a dog. I also asked at one point if the test for parvo could react with the vaccine she had received against parvo just over a week prior. The vet not only said it could not respectfully, but looked it up in the product insert and showed me to confirm that it was accurate information. I would definitely recommend them. As stated in other reviews, I felt their prices were fair. Additionally, the fact that they readily disclosed the prices on request and did not try to coerce me into buying anything really is uncommon and appreciated.

We took our ferrets and dogs to Dr. Klein for years before moving out of the city. She is by far the most knowledgeable ferret vet in town! She is so caring and has a lot of experience. When my dogs got nervous, she talked sweetly to them so they felt more comfortable. Every visit, she looked at eyes, teeth, ears, listened to the lungs and heart and felt for abnormalities in my ferrets abdomens. I went to other places that just asked how the animals were doing and if I said "fine," they didnt do any of these things. She takes the time to talk with you and make sure she addresses all your concerns about your animals. My ferret got really sick and I felt so much better knowing that I had Dr. Klein to figure out what was wrong. She doesnt charge for unnecessary procedures. She will teach you how to do things like trimming nails if you ask her. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Klein. I would recommend her for any animal, especially exotic pets! Ive gone to Far East Animal Hospital, Adobe, Montana Animal Clinic, and a location in the northeast, and Desert East is by far the BEST!

I could go on and on about Desert East Animal Hospital but Ill try to sum it up in a few sentences. My family and I absolutely LOVE the staff and Veterinarians but we hold a very special place in our hearts for Dr. Klein. She has been our veterinarian for 14 years and we trust her completely. We have been through a lot in 14 years with Dr. Klein and her staff. From checkups for new members of the family to saying goodbye to our beloved fur babies. Her commitment to the health of our kids is outstanding. She is so kind, understanding and does a great job of explaining what is going on with our babies. There are so many praises I could give but the main thing you should know is that if you want outstanding Veterinary care then you go to Desert East Animal Hospital.

Desert East Animal Hospital has been my choice for vet care for many years now...most recently, Dr. Hopp removed a massive growth from my Floppys cheek and jaw....hes as good as new! I never specify a doctor....all of them are outstanding! They all " know their stuff", they all are patient and dont mind my many questions, which are thoroughly and honestly answered, and most importantly, to me, they all care deeply about the animals they treat! The techs are also helpful and committed to the care of the animals....Quality care begins when you walk through the door...you couldnt ask for a sweeter receptionist than Crystal! I guess I sound gushy....but I love my dogs....and its important to me that I can trust their care to the doctors and entire staff of Desert East.

Today me and my husband had to put our baby puppy to sleep because of distemper. We had to think of all our options before we made this hard decision. We wanted to be somewhere that the staff were compassionate and he wasnt just another dog. The desert east animal hospital really were genuinely compassionate and sincere about how hard it was to do this for our animal. They were warm and kind and made sure we had all the time we needed with him. Dr Klein was sympathetic and genuinely seemed to care about us and our precious baby. They were able to make this day a little bit easier on us. If you are concidering going somewhere else I highly suggest looking into this facility for your animal.

Dr Klein and all of her staff are exceptionally kind, considerate, and accommodating; true professionals with with big hearts! I recently had to make a very painful and stressful decision to euthanize one of my very sick fur babies... Dr Klein was very patient, understanding and empathetic, which helped me get through this very painful decision. Desert East Animal Hospital understood that this was a loss of not only a pet, but of a family member and expressed their condolences by sending a beautiful plant and a card. I greatly appreciate everything they did for my baby, Tippy Toes. Forever Grateful, Carmen

As a long time, licensed wildlife rehabilitator, and president of Second Chance Wildlife Rescue, I represent our board in expressing our gratitude for the help we have received from Desert East Animal Hospital in caring for wild birds, mammals and reptiles in need of veterinarian care. Many veterinarians are not comfortable dealing with wildlife, but the vets at Desert East are not only very knowledgeable, they are willing to work with any animal we take to them. They have done a great job in caring for the animals and in sharing their knowledge and training with us. Josie Karam, Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator

I have been going to Desert East Animal Hospital for years. My kitties mean the world to me and I trust their care to this group of veterinarians completely. They are extremely caring & incredibly knowlegeable in the newest medical treatments available. On top of all this their staff is professional, dedicated & super friendly! Compassion absolutely flows thru this office & you always feel not only welcome but in the best hands available. My cats are in their senior years now and have begun to have serious medical issues--I cant even entertain the idea of going elsewhere for their care.
