WORST VETERINARY CENTER EVER!!! I took my dog there for an exam and before Dr. Nolasco came in the room I asked the nurse how much this was going to cost and she gave me an estimate and told me that it included blood work. When Dr. Nolasco came into the room I told her about how I was a little concerned about my dog because she was throwing up a lot and not really wanted to eat so she suggested doing blood work on her to try and figure out what the problem was. My boyfriend and I gave her the ok because the nurse had told us that blood work was included in the package that we were already paying for. When we went back a few hours later to pick her up the front desk lady told us that our bill was almost $400.00! I asked why and she said it was because of the blood work that we had done. I told her that we were informed that it was included in the $100.00 package. She explained to us that they did "extensive blood work." I asked to talk to Dr. Nolasco about this and when I did she had no sympathy what-so-ever. She didnt offer to reduce my bill at all, and made it seem like it was our fault. I will NEVER EVER return to this vet, and I do not recommend Briarcrest Veterinary Care Center to ANYONE!!! All this place wants is your money. They will do anything to rip you off.

Best Medicine, Great People who go Above for my pets. When I called to make an appointment, Barb was thorough in her questions asking me what I was concerned with. When we arrived Robin greeted me and she and her staff were very friendly, taking time to explain everything to me including costs. Never did I have any doubt my pets were not being give the best care. During my visit, Dr Nausley and his team even took in an emergency situation when they should be heading home. That is the kind of people I want to look after my pet. When I call or need them they are there for my dogs, treating them like their own. I believe you get what you pay for in life...they are not a low cost facility but a high class, high quality medical facility that has all the latests in technology to help my dogs....Who spend there time in performance events. My dogs do competitive herding, if I expect them to perform like an athelte, I expect to have a veterinarian who keeps them in top health. Thank You to the team, lead by Dr. Nausley and Robin. If your pet is a part of your family then these are the people to care for it...

Our whole family (dogs included) LOVE Briarcrest. The staff is warm, sensitive, and very professional. I feel that they actually love my pets. When one of our dogs got bone cancer, they went the extra mile to keep her comfortable and functioning much longer than I thought possible. They told us our options and supported our decisions. When she passed away, I knew that they were as heartbroken as we were. They sent a lovely card of condolence signed by all the staff, as well as a beautiful picture of our pet. Our other dog suffers from a spine injury received in Mexico before we found her and adopted her. She receives acupuncture and laser treatments and now walks and runs as if she were never injured. She loves going in for treatment and all the special attention she receives from everyone there. We know that there are lower cost facilities, but I wouldnt leave Briarcrest for the world. Dr. Nausley and his staff are the very best.

Our Dachshund lost control of his rear legs and we took him in to see Dr. Collins here. Of course the first assumption is back trouble. She have him an examination and while he had some symptons of it being a back issue some symptons were missing. We talked about back surgery and were almost ready to commit when she said she wanted to take a closer look since things didnt seem right. It took quite awhile and several steps but she finally found a large mass in the abodmen area that shouldnt be there so we opted for surgery and she pulled out a baseball sized, egg shaped something. It was attached to a couple of organs and other areas. She cleaned everything out and after two days in Pima Pet Care for post op he is home and doing great. I want to particularly compliment her for looking beyond the myopic view of Dachshund, legs, back which is easy to fall into. Her aggressive approach to making sure of the problem was great.

I have been using Briarcrest FOREVER ! They are always helpful, very clean, and courteous. Three weeks ago I lost my beloved rescued dog. All the gals loved him there. It was tough for me, but you would have thought, they lost their dog too. He came from a horrible first 4yrs, and we were able to give him a very happy 8 yrs. They always call you 1 or 2 days after you see the Vet, just to see how things are going. The Vets take the time to listen to you and are very gentle with the pets. They all have met their calling and are excellant at what they do for the pets. I wouldnt think of taking my pet anywhere else. I live outside of Tucson now and drive 45mins each way to this Vet. There are 2 closer to me, but I would not jump ship. when you find a good Vet you stay with them. I have had 7 dogs, and 2 cats with them over the years. Kepp up the great work you are a gem in our community !

It seems what is most important to Briarcrest is the almighty $$. I adopted a dog, that needs medication, the previous owner had a prescription from Briarcrest for 6 refills. The previous owner called and advised them I was the new owner. I went to fill his prescription on 1800petmeds, and they denied authorizing the refill, when I called Briarcrest to ask why they denied the prescription refill, someone named Robin informed me even though we had a prescription, that we had to come in and establish ourselves as new patients, at a $113 office visit fee(no new client discount obviously)!!! Robin sounded very un-compassionate, and was very unhelpful in the situation despite our dog only having 5 days of meds left. The previous owner even went in to talk to them and they still would not authorize at least one refill. If they treat pets like family I feel bad for their family!!

Amazing veterinary practice, very experienced, great staff. They are professional and take the their time with your pet. I liked that they saw my pet same day for appointments if needed, if he was sick or anything. prices were all good, I also have veterinary pet insurance so it was never an issue. One day my little guy was not feeling well so we took him in for a full work up, he ended up needing a procedure done, he is doing great now. It was nice that they got him in same day and got everything squared away. it was no problem to get in and get everything done, they also called with updates and to make sure I was okay with additional costs as the workup progressed. Of course I was, but it was nice they kept me in the loop. It also saved me from having to go to an emergency vet that didnt know my dog.
