Doctor was recommended by several friends and coworkers, and have had several visits since recommended, all very positive experiences. Front desk is caring, makes sure you have everything you need for every visit, and the wait time is never more than 10-15 minutes for me, half of the time, not even that long. Doctors (specifically Dr. Jan Dubinsky, PA) are very informative and listen to every detail, and give you the best possible care. When you have to call the facility to make an appt or for any reason, you usually have to leave a voicemail, but dont let that alarm you because they have always called me back within a 10 minute window. I recommend this facility and staff for all of your family care needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gruhlkeys office (aka Lone Star Medical) in New Braunfels/Gruene, TX for several years. He is an excellent general physician and family doctor. He is caring and a good listener. His staff of nurses as well as the office administrative people are incredibly efficient, friendly and very accommodating. I couldnt be happier to be a patient at this medical office and to have Dr Gruhlkey as my primary physician. His Nurse Practitioner also has a very nice bedside manner and the one time I was seen by her was a very positive experience!

Dr. Gruhlkey is fabulous! His nursing staff and NPs are also great. If you have allergies he can fix it!! Good luck getting them to answer the phone though! Every time I call in I get voice mail and have to call back repeatedly to get to talk to anyone. Also, their front desk staff isnt the friendliest of sorts. In fact, they often times make me feel like Im an inconvenience to them. If the practice could figure out how to get someone to answer the phone and be a bit more courteous Id have rated the practice with five stars.
