We brought in a homeless scared little dog that was so precious, just to get checked out and get his shots. This VET was rough with our new little guy, and when our dog yelped, this VET guy got startled and he pricked himself with the needle. In his bizarre response, he picked up our dog by the scruff of his neck (which was swollen from some recent dog bite during the time of being homeless), and this 200lb. man clenched his fist and shook it in our little 7 lbs. dogs face as he dangled him in the air!!!! He muttered something as he was clenching his teeth tightly too!! IT WAS INSANE!!!!! So much anger!!!

First, I want to say that if you are in need of great veterinarian services look no further than Companion Animal Hospital of Plano. Dr. Allen and his staff, Jennifer, and Kimberly are simply the best. Again, I can’t stress how great they are. Do not hesitate bringing your pet here, they will get the best of care. Dr. Allen and his staff take their time to explain everything and have never tried to add unnecessary test, or medicines. One of our dogs lived to be over 19 years old and I always knew she was in great care with Dr. Allen Great job and thanks for everything.

Front office not very friendly, and the Vet was not very personable or friendly either. They didnt seem very tuned in to our dogs. The vet seemed kind of rough with our small one, who is usually very friendly and he made sudden movements toward our other dog who is very nervous around strangers. I would think a vet, of all people, would know how to approach an animal but I guess not. He didnt seem very interested in our animals. We will continue to look elsewhere for a better experience.

Weve been taking our pets to Dr. Allen for about 4 years now, and he is by far the best vet weve found in the area. Hes warm and friendly and shows a genuine concerns for the animals brought in. Ive never had to wait when Ive have an appointment. Prices for services are not too bad. We moved away from Plano (to Rowlett) but still make the drive to go back to Dr.Allen. Highly recommended!

Dirty employees they walk the dogs on the back of the building by service alley and whenever the dogs defecate they dont pick up or clean after them!!!! No professional at all

I have always taken my dogs to Dr Allen. He is caring and extremely knowledgeable. His office staff has been with him forever which is another sign of a good vet.
