The other review saying her dog was over vacinated (VX) and bordetella VX killed her dog is a MORON. The people there didnt kill your dog, the VX reaction killed your dog and bordetella is a VX that fights kennel cough, which most dogs get from other dogs whom have it very easily, and its very costly to fix. I would like to add that puppies like human babies, dont have much of an immune system, so statistically your puppy has a better chance of living with the VXs. The corporation (BANFIELD) requires all clinics (FRANCHISES) to recommend it. You bought the animal and its your responsibility to pay for things that happen to it. You also signed a waver, which gives consent to the DR and Pet Nurses to give aid to the pet, so stop your whining and buy a fish. This clinic is full of top notch Doctors and a management staff/nurses that all love animals. The nurses sure are not doing it for the money, which shows a lot of compasion for animals. PetSmart is trashy but its worth going in to, to get to this Banfield. I suggest taking your pet here or there other location at Custer and 121.

Every Sunday and for the past 3. Years, I have been taking my dog Rooney (Sharpei) to get his checkups and get his ears cleaned up and get other stuff done because he was born sick. After spending thousands of dollars, today, the staff declined taking care of him with no explanations at first because he was considered a drop off and said that they cant him in. The staff turned around and took 2 drop offs. I purposely made sure to stick around and listen to the owner just to make sure it was not an appointment!!! ... Sure thing t was not. When I asked to speak to the manager (Audrey), she was a no show. But walked right out to the counter right after I started heading outside.... I did walk back inside pretty livid wanting an explanation. At first she ignored me and then kept saying we are doing everything we could (lies! You have not done anything but take in other dogs) .... NEVER STEPPING FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN!!

One of my dogs got into some Halloween chocolate. As a member of their Wellness Plan and long time customer of the Banfield Hospitals, I tried to bring him immediately to this hospital. However, I was told they could not see my dogs emergency due to a booked schedule. Now, my other dog appears to have an abnormal swelling, irritation, and discoloration at the base of penis - and again, I was told they have no room on the schedule to see him. I understand that other animals scheduled for preventative services should receive their care; but if you will not accommodate me when my dogs are ill, or potentially going to die; that tells me you dont care and you do not deserve my business. After moving into the area, this is now my closest Banfield and since I can never use them in times of need, I will be terminating my wellness plans when they expire.

I wish I had taken my pets back to the Frisco location on Preston Rd, when they needed their check-ups. I made the mistake of taking them to the Lewisville PetSmart location, because of the convenience of the location from my home . But I will never take my dogs to that rude, condescending, and the inability to speak the English language so as to be understood by the average American citizen, so called Doctor of Veterinary, that is located at the Lewisville store.

This location is SO unhelpful!!! My pet had an emergency and the staff here didnt even care about her pain they turned us away saying they couldnt get us in for 3 more days!!! Are you kidding me? This is my last straw with Banfield! They only care about their well-visit pets. No time to fit a pupp in pain in. Ridiculous!!!!!! If I could give zero stars to Banfield I would.

I called for records on behalf of a mutual client. I was put on hold the first time for almost 10 minutes. I was put on hold again after hanging up on the first call multiple times. Step it up. I dont understand how requesting records can take so much time and frustration. I am writing this STILL on hold and approaching the 20 minute mark.
