I want everyone to know about how BAD MY experience was at this pediatric care location. THIS JUST RECENTLY HAPPENED. My wife took our daughter in on a Saturday afternoon. A nurse practitioner examined my daughter and said that our daughter had a low grade fever and some congestion, pretty much nothing she could do so they went home. That evening our daughter kept on tugging at her ear and mid day next day my girl said her ears hurt. Less than 36hrs we called the same urgent care asking the nurse practitioner if we can get a prescription for antiabotics since we think our little girl has ear infection. Instead of filling out a prescription the nurse told us that we would have to come back in to see a doctor. I said my little Grl was seen less than 36hrs ago by you why do I have to spend another 1 to 2 hrs to be seen by a doctor & pay another $75 copay and that YOU DID NOT DO A THOUROUGH INSPECTION 1ST TIME. MY BABY GIRL WAS NOT EVEN SEEN BY A DOCTOR THE 1ST TIME. The nurse refused to help and said its a different symton and has to be seen by a doctor. THIS PLACE SHOULD be called LACK OF CARE PEDIATRICS!!! Seriously a doctor did not even examined my girl the 1st time, you Ms nurse practitioner you did!!! I TRULY BELIEVE YOU DROPPED THE BALL! MY LITTLE GIRL IS SUFFERING BECAUSE OF YOUR LACK OF ATTENTION! EVERYONE THAT READS THIS GOOGLE REVIEW PLS PLS SAVE YOURSELF YOUR CHILDS PAIN!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY!!!! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS!!! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY, THIS BUSINESS IS TERRIBLE !!! TAKE YOUR BABY or BABIES SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! IF YOU EVEN CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVE ONES DO NOT GO HERE!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE OF MY FRIENDS & FAMILY TO COME HERE!!! I WILL ALSO SHARE MY CHILDS PAIN & SUFFERING TO EVERYONE I WILL MEET!!!

Another great experience. Took my LO in and was greeted with a smile. Signing in was quick and easy since they were able to pull my LOs information from a visit at one of the other locations...really convenient that they were able to do this since I had a toddler running around. The MA called us back quickly, introduced herself to myself and my LO and was great at keeping my LO calm during vital signs. She explained everything step by step and talked both of us through the process. The provider was great, listened to what I had to say and answered all of the questions that I asked. They called me back the weekend following the visit, and were able to answer some questions for me. The MA on the phone listened to what I had to say, consulted the provider and gave great direction. I was able to return to the clinic that day and be seen just as quickly as the first time. My LO and I left feeling great and will not hesitate to continue using the Little Spurs clinics!

The lady at the front desk greeted us and was very polite. She explained that my sons insurance wasnt accepted any more. I asked the price to pay cash and it was very affordable. Then she told me how to get reimbursed from the insurance company. I thought it was going to be a long time but my son was called in 5 minutes. The nurse was very good at taking care of my 5 year old vitals. He liked her very much and said she was nice. She listened very well and was able to run the appropriate test before the doctor even came in. The doctor came in and was very nice as well. She showed me all the signs of the sickness. She gave us the prescription and we were out in less than 15 minutes and I was very educated on early warning signs. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again in the future, but hopefully not anytime soon. :)

This was a terrible experience. I dont often go online to complain, but I thought it would be helpful to save someone else the trouble. A physician examined my daughter, diagnosed her with sinusitis and did a cxr (on my request). We were told she had an early viral pneumonia (early infiltrates, but it was viral). We were given amoxil for her sinus infection. After visiting her doctor a few days later, she was extremely ill and admitted to the hospital. The doctor was condescending and rude when speaking to us and she was clearly irritated that we had questions and it was after 9 pm. She did not explain things very well, and I am a doctor myself, so its easy for me to understand. I would never take my child there nor will I ever refer patients to this urgent care. Stay away

Weve visited here ...one or more occasion....medical staff is is very professional but front desk customer service young lady really needs a class on Customer Service...needs trng on Customer service, friendliness.... We were not greeted as we walked in...too busy chatting with other staff...a nice warm Good Afternoon would have sufficed and assistance with signing in my daughters name would have been helpful seeing my hands were filled with a sick child. Parents are sometimes overwhelmed with a sick child....a frown is not what we look foward too..a Friendly Smile would be nice! Also...acknowledge of staff would be helpful..asked her Doc on duty she advised to read who ever was posted...she didnt know info.

Unfortunately will not be returning here, I took my son in for having a high fever for 2 days, they tested for strept because he complained of a sore throat, that came back negative so the provider tried to tell me it was just a virus. As a parent we know our kids and I work in a hospital so I know his symptoms werent just a simple virus, I asked her to check him for the flu and her response was well I can do it but its going to take 15minutes for the results!! I in turn told her well I have 15 minutes do you?? The flu test came back positive and we left with a prescription for tamiflu thankfully my son is doing better!

This was the first time I came here and I was completely satisfied the care my daughter was given. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Lauren Lara was the best she explained and answer all my questions but most of all how she was with my daughter her main concern was to get my daughter to feel better. You could tell that she cared, she very caring and compassionate to her patients she made sure I understood and had no more questions before releasing us...Thanks to staff of little spurs pediatric urgent care and to Dr.Lara I most definitely will be back.

I will never bring my daughter here ever again! She was rushed in and out and they did not take the time to figure out what was wrong with her..i took her in because she was having ear pain all they said was to give her Tylenol. Two days later i ended up having to take my baby to the emergency room, turns out she has a double ear infection and upper respiratory infection.. it was a waste of my time and money. This could have been avoided if they took the time to actually care for my daughter!
